Flew in from Toronto, Canada to this beautiful home away from home. Barbara, Graeme (and Rosie) were extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely, comfortable linens and beds, clean and modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and great and private hot tub. The location is very rural, but easy to find with google maps. The town of Kilburnie is close by with a grocery store, gas station and pharmacy among other amenities.

Bentfield was simply magic. It was everything and more quirky, eclectic and homely the perfect place for our family get together traveling from New Zealand and corners of the UK, when our time was up we really didn’t want to leave. From family meals in the dining room, to chilling out in the sunroom to watching the sun go down over Arran on the lawn we made lots of memories.

Booked this last minute for my friends birthday and we are so glad we did!. Place was spotless and the host is so friendly she made us feel at home☺️ will definitely be back this is my second time here . Love it

We enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to go back. Handy location for popping into Glasgow and for Loch Lomond. The games hall was an extra we weren’t expecting

Gorgeous time away with family for New Year. Cottage very spacious as well as cosy and the views are spectacular.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We made use of the hot tub on the evenings while the pooch roamed the enclosed garden. We enjoyed our stay so much and felt right at home - lots of extra touches for my partners birthday that made it so great. Ross also got back to me with food recommendations before we got there so I could book a meal. We would love to come back and see more castles 🏰

We had a fabulous stay at your gorgeous cosy house. We loved the festive theme, an ideal space to spend Xmas and New Year. Waking up to those stunning views was such a bonus and we made good use of the hot tub especially after doing the Hidden Heritage Trail which was stunning. We enjoyed seeing in the New Year and a meal at The Village Inn (literally a 2 minute walk away) with the Scottish piper adding to the festive atmosphere. A thoughtful use of the space within the cottage. A few niggles with lights not working & no local electrician available. Lots of local information. The hot tub is well worth the time it takes to heat up. A great spot for a short break.

Great little comfy and cosy cottage within walking distance of everything in and near Brodick. Ample living room space and nice kitchen / dining room. Ideal having the enclosed space out the back for our dog too. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Arran. Lorna was very helpful throughout.

Have just spent a few days at Ashburn cottage & it was lovely. The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need & had fabulous views of the loch & mountains. The weather was cold, crisp & sunny so was stunning, we did have a wee flurry of snow. Loved the log burner, so cosy!! Had a lovely meal at the Goil Inn & The Boat Shed cafe a definite for a visit! Will hope to be back again soon 👍

I had a fantastic stay at the wee cottage! It’s a beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable and felt like home away from home.

We felt very much at home in this cosy, lovingly decorated cottage. Every practical need was taken care of, the heating system worked perfectly. We liked our meals at the big kitchen table and the quaint staircase leading up to the bedroom and bathroom. Personally, I found it hard to sleep because the mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable

This is a little gem. The views are wonderful, the accommodation is immaculate and David has thought of everything you would need. He is so helpful. Definitely going back without hesitation as it’s also a great base for Ayrshire and the lovely beaches. Recommend a visit to Nardini’s in Largs for every flavour of ice cream you can think of!

Very peaceful location. Beautiful countryside. Close to popular tourist locations. Comfortable cottage. Made to feel welcome by owners. Dog friendly. Especially enjoyed the woodburning stove, which warmed up the whole place.

The Hideaway is a little gem in a tucked away place by beautiful Ostel Bay (Kilbride Bay). It is home from home with everything you need even for longer stays. It is quite spacious and lovely and warm when needed. A short walk down the road/path (it can be boggy so bring your wellies in case) and you are at a stunning remote beach with views over Arran! There's plenty of walking about and enough cafes and pubs to choose from. The Glenan forest walk and Portavadie marina are both lovely. Annette is very friendly and helpful and the little Bothy with cakes etc is scrumptious! Highly recommended!

Just returned from a short break at Gillians lovely wee cottage, we used it as a base to explore Glencoe, Oban and a few other places. Ideal little cottage with all of the amenities that you would need, a nice feel to the place and the surroundings were just so peaceful. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful cottage which has been really thoughtfully designed. For a family of four it was perfect and the scenery is beyond breathtaking.

Jane's cottage was exactly as described and immaculate - like a home from home. Easy to find, easy to park at. Great location for the many local attractions - we stayed a few days - we could have had a few weeks worth of things to see. Cottage is beautiful and in a perfect location for exploring locally or regionally. Beautiful, pristine accommodation with garden area and direct walking access to historical rock art sites and the canal. Thoughtfully chosen guide books available to help guests choose things to see. Lochgilphead close by with good takeaways (Argyll Cafe, Taj Mahal) , cafes (Salty Dog) and a CoOp open till 10pm. Really loved the cottage and the area, highly recommend.

What an amazing cottage and location! Fiona was an exceptional host with outstanding responsiveness to a very late booking on our end with an early check in provided. The cottage has everything you could need and there is so much to do in walking distance and so much more with a wee drive away. We will return very soon as six days wasn’t enough! This is an outstanding option if your heading this way with a fantastic host.

Lovely stay in an outstanding cottage. Beautiful and stylish though cosy with a great view and a great kitchen which has everything you need. Very clean and spacious. We were unlucky with the weather but sitting next to the fireplace warmed us up nicely. We were welcomed very friendly and helpfull. We had a delicous dinner in Killberry and a beautifull hike near Ardpatrick. Would love to come back with friends!

The cottage is an extremely comfortable and warm haven. Set in picturesque surroundings at the end of a farm track. It is extremely well equipped and the large hallway and utility/ drying area was excellent for all our coats and shoes etc. I would definitely recommend this place x

A real gem of a cottage, spacious and cosy at the same time. Fabulous river at bottom of garden which kids can paddle/swim in. Great location in middle of island so everything accessible. Super comfortable beds and great tips in visitor book! Book this if your dates are available!!!

We had a great time in this beautiful, cosy cottage in the woods. Very well equipped and we loved the wood burning stove and all the artwork. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from Kilfinan forest trails. We will definitely be coming back
