Sonia and Paulo were the perfect hosts. They greet you on the highway to take you up to their hillside retreat! Once you arrive you are personally taken through the home and showed how to use all amenities! We were greeted with wine, fresh bread, tomatoes, coffee, milk, butter, juices, water! Other breakfast items so no real need to get groceries after a long day of traveling. The bed was so comfy I thought I was in my own house. The outdoor space and grounds are impeccable. We walked and picked some fruit on the grounds. It was too cold in February for the pool but it was ready if we needed. Anything we needed was taken care of. What lovely people. We followed all recommendations for local restaurants, grocery stores and sites. Our stay was too short. We were very sad to leave this beautiful place and beautiful hosts. Book it! You will be so happy!

The apartment was spacious and the location was very good. Great view of the city. Well stocked with many of the amenities needed.

This house is a marvel! So much room! The architecture is amazing, but it has been modernized for things like the windows and the electrical. The kitchen was very functional with a full-sized fridge and all the tools you would ever need in a rental. But the real star is the garden…a dozen fruit trees! A tiny oasis behind the house. There is an outdoor dinner space complete with a wood grill and room to eat outside if you decide not to go out. Giuseppe’s mom met us when we arrived and walked us through everything and could not have been nicer. Parking is on the street, but other than when we first checked in, we never had trouble finding a spot right next to the house. Whether you intend to spend time in the water as we did or use it as a base to explore Calabria, this is an great place.

Francesco è un host fantastico. Presente e premuroso. La villa semplicemente un incanto. Pulizia, posizione, arredamento... tutto eccezionale! Il panorama poi è l'elemento distintivo con vista meravigliosa sui calanchi e lo jonio che mattina e sera ti aspetta solo per essere ammirato nel silenzio e nella pace che questo posto sa trasmettere fino in fondo. La piscina bellissima, panoramica immersa in un giardino curato in ogni particolare è un plus comodo per chi ha bambini anche se il mare calabrese è di per sé una piscina naturale ed è impossibile resistere alle sue spiagge selvagge bagnate da un mare impareggiabile. Grazie Francesco. Sarà un piacere essere nuovamente tuoi ospiti.

Cristina was a very welcoming host. Their house gave a typical countryside farmhouse! They have lots of orange and olive trees and it was fun picking fresh fruit from their orchards! They have 2 dogs and lots of cats who would always be wandering around the entire property which was delightful to see! Since we went in Dec, it was quite cold some of the days but they had a lovely little fireplace for which all the required things were available. Wood was kept just outside the house and fire starters, tongs etc were kept right next to the fireplace. Our evenings would get super cosy because of that. Will recommend this place to all our friends/ family!

Das Haus ist auf einem Hügel und sehr schön gelegen. Die Gegend war im November etwas verlassen. Maria hat sehr gut kommuniziert und war äusserst hilfsbereit.

Casetta veramente incantevole. Una vera casa in montagna. Siamo stati persino fortunati che ha nevicato e la casetta è diventata ancora più suggestiva. Gianluca è stato molto gentile e ospitale e ci ha fornito ogni tipo di comfort e indicazione per poterci godere il weekend. Pulita, attrezzata bene, non mancava niente. È stato veramente un bellissimo soggiorno. Lo consiglio e spero di tornarci presto!

Anna place was perfect for our family of 6. 2 min walk to the beach, beautiful beach and great food. The roof top patio was perfect for sun sets and a peace drink at the end of the night. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything!

Pasquale und Giovanna sind wirklich außergewöhnliche Gastgeber! Wir haben uns sofort willkommen und zuhause gefühlt! Sie sind interessante Menschen, die sehr viel über ihre Region wissen und mit ihr verwurzelt sind und dieses Wissen und Tradition gerne mit ihren Gästen teilen. Sehr gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit, großzügig, fürsorglich, bemüht, proaktiv, integrierend und familiär, interessiert, zuvorkommend, unterstützend bei allen Belangen, immer bereit für Erklärungen. Eine Führung in der Olivenöl Produktion, Ausflüge zu besonderen Orten. Auch die leckeren kulinarische Traditionen haben wir immer wieder verköstigen dürfen! Das hauseigene Olivenöl ist eine Superlative! Wir sind sehr beschenkt durch unsere Zeit in ihrem Haus! Die Wohnung ist großzügig, praktisch und bietet alles, was man sich - auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt, wünschen kann. Die Verander mit Sonnenuntergang und Blick auf den Etna ist bestechend schön! Mit dem Auto erreichen man in wenigen Minuten großartige Orte!

Ideal place to stay in Tropea, plenty of free parking options and a short 15min walk to the old town. Excellent coffee shop nearby, good supermarket right across the street. Giulia was very responsive and easy to reach at any time. The place is larger than it appears, but be aware it is just one big space, there is no separate bedroom. The big draw is the beautiful view across the cemetery, of the ocean in the distance. We would definitely come back!

L'alloggio è pulitissimo e Catia.... una persona speciale che ha la capacità di farti sentire a casa tua. La differenza tra qualcosa di buono e qualcosa di grande è l’attenzione ai dettagli che solo Lei offre!

Eravamo stati ospiti due anni fa’ presso un altro alloggio dello stesso host e ci eravamo trovati bene, quest’anno si è riconfermato nuovamente un host preciso, puntuale e amichevole. Di certo non sarà l’ultima volta che usufruiremo della sua ospitalità.

E' stato molto piacevole soggiornare in questa bella struttura, in un luogo incantevole ai piedi Parco del Pollino e a pochi chilometri dal mare. Grazie ad Antonella per averci fatto conoscere qualcosa di una cultura affascinante come quella Arbëreshë. abbiamo molto apprezzato la colazione in un grande tavolo comune, le chiacchiere con lei e con gli altri ospiti, la sua gentilezza e disponibilità.

Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite chez nous chez Giacomo et Caterina. Caterina a été très attentionnée tout au long de notre séjour, elle nous a accueilli avec un petit déjeuner et nous a partagé ses petits plats faits maison. Le logement est très chaleureux et parfait pour 2 personnes. La vue sur la baie est incroyable, nous avons adoré pouvoir vivre quelques jours au rythme de la mer. Caterina nous a donné pleins d'adresses et activités à proximité. Nous avions un Kayak à disposition gratuitement pour aller voir les plages sauvages près de l'appartement. Nous vous recommandons chaleureusement cette location ! 😊

This place is amazing!!! We enjoyed our stay so much. Teresa is very accommodating, we had everything we needed and more. Such a beautiful place to stay. If you want to visit Calabria, this is the place! Renting a car was easy and driving there was so much fun! Questa casa è bellissima!!! Noi abbiamo divertito tanto. Teresa è molte accomoda, avevamo a tutti bisognini. Che una bella casa a stare. Se volete visitare a Calabria, questa casa è la ultima. Noleggiare la macchina era facile e guidare era molte divertito!!!

We had a fantastic week at Christina’s place! We felt right at home since the Airbnb comes with literally everything and anything you can imagine and wish for - the apartment is up to the highest standards. From start to finish, Cristian was a fantastic host! We really enjoyed our stay at his beautiful villa, and we definately want to come back. The villa has incredible views and Tropea was such a lovely city. Cristian was very helpful with giving us flexible check-in and nice local recommendations for both beaches and restaurants. We felt like Cristian went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We didn’t use the pool area much, as we wanted to explore the different beaches, but it did not feel crowded even though the pool is shared with the other 9-10 apartments in the complex.

Villetta su tre piani, molto spaziosa e moderna, immersa nel verde con terrazza panoramica sul golfo di Sapri. Antonia ci ha accolto in maniera calorosa, nonostante non si trovasse in loco. Consigliamo vivamente per trascorrere periodi tranquilli lontano dal trambusto cittadino.

Massimo is a very friendly and helpful host, everytime available if there should be any questions. We loved staying at his house on the calabrian countryside with cows, sheep and olivetrees as our neighbours. We would come back anytime without hesitating.

La Casetta è l’alloggio ideale sia per famiglie che, come nel nostro caso, per una vacanza tra amici. Perfetto per chi viaggia insieme al proprio cane, dispone di un grande giardino curato e recintato. La casa è fornita di tutto ciò che risulta necessario per il soggiorno. Annunziata è stata un host disponibile e gentile, ci ha dato consigli utili per visitare la zona ed è stata sempre puntuale nelle comunicazioni. Grazie ancora per l’ospitalità e a presto!

Tolle Unterkunft! Gerade mal 10 Geh Minuten vom Strand entfernt (Achtung steiler Berg 😉) Die Airbnb ist fantastisch. In dem riesigen Pool konnten wir sogar richtig Bahnen schwimmen und das auch noch Anfang Oktober. Jedes Schlafzimmer war mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Es gab zwei Kühlschränke und auch sonst alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen (was ich auch absolut empfehlen würde) und konnten mit diesem sowohl reggio calabria und Tropea erkunden. Er war ebenfalls praktisch um einkaufen zu gehen (Supermarkt ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt). Unten an der Promenade befinden sich ein paar Restaurants, die ebenfalls zu empfehlen sind. Den Sonnenuntergang kann man fantastisch aus Domenicos Garten unter den Olivenbäumen betrachten. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
