We had a wonderful time at the historic Dorrington Hotel! Stayed there with two other families (12 people + a baby) and had plenty of space for everyone. The big open space out back was full of snow and so much fun to play in. The Lube Room nextdoor is delicious and nice to have right there. We would definitely stay there again!

Carla’s Cabin was great! Plenty of room for us to spread out, had everything we needed to be comfortable and had plenty of cookware. Loved it and will definitely recommend it to others if we don’t book it first!

To say this place is incredible would be an understatement. It was everything we could have hoped for in finding a place to unwind, disconnect and relax. The property is absolutely stunning. We loved waking up early to take the dogs out for a morning walk around the pond and watching all the ducks and geese fly in. Our dogs are off leash adventurers so this place was perfect for them. The tiny home itself was so lovely. I absolutely fell in love with the big front porch and fireplace. Inside was a lot bigger and spacious than I expected and fit all four of us just fine. Very clean and they provide you with everything you need. On top of all the space you already get to yourself (very private by the way), you have access to the 400 acres of county property right next door. As if this place couldn’t get any better! Everything about our stay was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly and communicated with us up until our stay. We will definitely be coming back.

The place was a dream. So quaint, cozy and relaxing. Exactly what the doctor ordered. Love Groveland which is really close by and did the Canyon Falls hike when we didn't go into Yosemite (as it's a bit of a drive) and that was wonderful. The horses are so cute!

A stylish, welcoming and in ideal location for a weekend break in the mountains. The house was set up perfectly for our family. We really enjoyed not having a TV in the main living space so we connected and played games whilst listening to old vinyls in front of a roaring fire and our daughter loved the toy room.

Post holidays, my family and I were looking to have a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area. We were looking for something extra special and Chateau St. George delivered and then some. Plenty of space for a family of six, plus very cute little touches. The red room was absolutely beautiful. The chateau was spotless, and George and his lovely wife Charmelle were very accommodating. Anything we needed, they were present to help us. They had plenty of suggestions for where to eat and what to do locally. We would 10/10 return.

I came in March 9th, the area was green green green. So remarkably beautiful. I am so grateful for the peacefulness of the space, I was really able to drop in and just enjoy the area, there was gate access toa field behind the property where I was able to walk and watch the sunrises and sunsets. I was there for four days (I purchased an extra day because I was enjoying myself so much!) I did not leave but once to go get myself some food. The home was cozy, the bath was relaxing. The animals were sweet, the property was gorgeous. Everything I needed to decompress. My heart is so full! THANK YOU!

We visited from San Francisco- lots of people and cars. We came to the this nature surrounding house, that kind of reminds me of princesses Mononoke by Hayao Miyazaki. My kids love to explore secured vibe large yard - well, it’s like huge nature with a big private lake. We were able to experience new feelings that haven’t been seen recently and overall, this place made our time fly quickly. I wish we could stay there longer.

Our stay at the cottage was so comfortable and lovely! We were in town for a wedding and honestly wish we had more time to spend relaxing and enjoying the cottage. Sonora is an adorable town with many great local spots. Nichole was helpful and responsive. We would definitely book again!

Robin is a phenomenal host and great cook! Very accomodating and friendly. The space is beautiful and peaceful. The pets make it feel like home too. Our small dog has really liked the other animals and the open space too. We are so happy to have found such a good stay!

Our Family had a wonderful stay. It is so close to Dodge Ridge and Leland Snow Park. The cabin is very well kept and our kids loved watching all the movies in the DVD collection. I also liked having the extra play room upstairs so eveyone including the dog had plenty of space to spread out and relax. I'm sure we'll be back to Cold Springs on our next snow trip!

This is one of the best AirBnB experiences I've had! We were there for 2 nights and looking for some peace and quiet. Very clean place, well appointed and beautiful surroundings - on a small hill overlooking the farm. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a good breakfast (fresh farm eggs!!), cook a meal or sit back and sip on some wine at the end of the day. Good comfortable beds in all the bedrooms, clean bathrooms with toiletries. Nice large living room to sit and chat. Great backyard with outdoor games (which we didn't use), got an opportunity to see planets and stars (binoculars provided). Sat in the patio - Adirondack chairs, gas heaters. Family chickens, adorable donkeys to go give treats to. 10 min to Amador valley - Turley winery - which ended up being a great experience in itself (friendly staff, great zins, picnic from Fig Barn Sandwich shop). Ari is extremely proactive in communication and provided all the information we needed for a comfortable stay.

Yvette was a pleasure to communicate with, her kindness made my stay infinitely more comfortable and restful. To me that can make or break a stay, I can't relax if I am dealing with a host that is not relaxed. The cabin is very comfy, warm (I stayed in winter) and has an easy coffee maker ready to go which I also appreciated! It's close to Yosemite but not in Yosemite, but the drive there is beautiful and I enjoyed learning the area up here.

Joseph has a beautiful cabin on the outskirts of the city of Ione. Location is great as it is right off the road and the house number can be easily located while you are driving. Cabin is old style but immaculately maintained. Kitchen is cozy and generously stocked with utensils. Joseph is one of the most friendly hosts that you would come across. He called me to make sure that we have a comfortable stay. I wanted to setup my telescope in the rear part of the property, away from the lights, and he even offered to bring in some extra chairs in case we need them. That was really nice of him. Even before we got there Joseph sent me lot of information on the local places and events to see. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay this cabin is an excellent deal. Thanks.

My dog and I just returned from two peaceful nights at Jennifer's cabin! This is the second year we've stayed at the cabin to escape the 4th of July fireworks in the Bay Area. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, you can't go wrong with this cabin.

This beautiful farmhouse drenched in history has been well renovated for an enchanted stay. The views are unbelievable, sunrise and sunset a must, so much bird life, a very tidy working farm. We had a family gathering and the location could not have been better. Highly recommended.

We stayed during our out of state move to the area. It was wonderful to have such a cozy home base while waiting for our new home to close. Kelly and Tony were very accommodating, friendly, and made us feel welcome when we were in a new town, out of our element. Kelly was incredible kind and let us bring our pet chickens which we would have otherwise had to find homes for. That was a gift I will always be grateful for. Tony was a big help to my husband with moving our enormous truck and helping us with a flat tire. They went above and beyond. I would stay here again in a heart beat and will refer out of town guests to their farm. I also really enjoyed my morning coffee with a side of horse snuggles.

This cabin in Mi-Wuk Village was perfect for our MLK weekend ski trip to Dodge Ridge. The cabin was beautiful inside, a really unique and welcoming place; and at the same time very practical. The host paid attention to all the little details from linens and kitchen towels, to abundant coffee pods. Despite the high ceiling, the place was not drafty at all, and the floorboard heating was very effective. We loved the place and look forward to renting it again the next time we are in the area for skiing!

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Cath’s place and the location made it easy for us to get up to Bear Valley for a fun day of tubing and sledding. The rooms were super spacious and the house had beautiful views - it was perfect for our group. Thank you Cath and Rick!

We had a great stay at the cabin. Some great things were the hot tub, the nearby lake, and lots of ammenties available. There was no AC at the place so it can get a bit hot during the day time but there were two big fans upstairs and we brought a portable AC unit. Overall good value for a great stay.

Such a lovely, peaceful, homey retreat. It was wonderful to return to its family feel, quiet and privacy after a day trip to Yosemite National Park. A nice market and restaurants (and for EV drivers, multiple charging stations) are a short drive away. Our whole family, including grandma and teen/tween sons had fun shooting hoops and exploring the property, watching deer and birds by day and an astonishing number of stars, by night, and playing board games and music in the parlor before bed. Elysia was friendly and proactive and the directions for checking in and leaving were easy to follow. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Terra's home! It was a great place to stay for us as a base to go up to the snow, and being in such a magical house with beautiful surroundings added a lot of enjoyment to our trip. We loved seeing all the animals nearby and going for a hike down to the river. I'm hoping we get to return for another season soon!
