Our family of four absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay at Compass North. The entire place is nicely furnished and we truly felt at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with a large variety of seasonings. The bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. We love proximity to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Twain Harte, and to Sonora. Parking was super easy. The only thing our family would suggest changing are the pots and pans because all but one are badly scratched up. Otherwise, there’s no doubt our family would be back. Gina is a wonderful informative host from beginning to end.

This is the second time my family and I stayed at this house and it only gets better. Brian and Chelsea are wonderful hosts. They provide clear instructions and tips and are always quick to communicate. The house is spotless clean, it has everything you need and it really comfortable, especially for a family with a 2yo. I will be back for sure.

One of the best Airbnb’s for the price and proximity to the Bay Area for a large group. Host was super responsive and accommodating. House is in a private complex and is large, is perched on a small incline, has sleeping rooms slightly elevated or below the living-dining-kitchen area giving privacy and quiet while kids run around. Overall, layout is good for large groups. Has a pool table and a ping pong table which was a plus.

The kids loved it so much! The games, guitars and the great room upstairs with comfy sofas, just to name a few. Lots of personal touches throughout the whole house, which makes it so homey. Door to door 15 mins to dodge ridge, with restaurants, market and gas station 2 mins away. The location cannot be better! Definitely recommend!

A true genuine feel of being a guest in a special place. I'm sure this will be an annual trip for us.

Valerie's place is a stunner! - We travel up into her area frequently for a get-away weekend and have rented many other houses in the area - this home is so superior to anything else we've stayed it it's not even in the same category. Things we loved: 1. the house was absolutely spotless 2. Valerie has fantastic style and taste and the whole house was filled with lovely little touches and details - it felt liked it was professionally staged. 3. We loved that there was lots of complementary toiletries under the bathroom sink incase you forgot something, cooking oils, spices, coffee, ect, in the kitchen, extra fluffy towels in the bathroom, nice throw blankets for the couch and beautiful linens on all the beds. This did not feel like an older cabin in the woods that always seems a bit musty, old fashion and dated. 4. they have a framed information sheet about the house and the area right by the front door. We had a wonderful weekend at this gem of a place - thank you Valerie!!!!

Our family had an amazing time at this cozy cabin in Arnold, CA! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight for us was the game room—our kids couldn’t get enough of the air hockey and pool table, which kept everyone entertained. The location was perfect—near Calaveras Big Trees, 20 min to Bear Valley, also offering a peaceful and scenic escape with use of a private lake for a great summer spot to stay. sharon was responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a family-friendly retreat with plenty of fun and relaxation, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

Winter wonderland treehouse heaven! We wanted snow.. and we got lots of snow. The treehouse was the perfect retreat in the trees my family and I needed. Absolutely beautiful views and so peaceful. Perfect for a family trip, they had everything we needed from baby items for the little ones to the games for the older kids and adults. It was a little challenging first getting in and unloading all our luggage and groceries, coolers etc. with stairs with lots of snow, but once we were settled- we felt right at home and super relaxed! Daniel was beyond communicative- helpful, and went above and beyond to meet our families needs. Our favorite was definitely the hot tub after a long day of snow play and Netflix by the fire at night watching the snow fall. We would definitely recommend and definitely come back! Thank you for everything, Daniel, and for being an incredible host :-)

We had an amazing time at Love Creek Cabin, and Desiree was the perfect host! The attention to detail in and around the cabin was impeccable. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and tranquil stay and so many fun things to look at. The wood stove kept us quite toasty, and cooking on the porch was fun even in winter. We'll definitely be back!
