Our family of four had a wonderful time. The home was exactly as it appears in the photos. Plenty of room, the beds were comfy and all of the necessities for an easy stay. We enjoyed the majority of our time out back relaxing around the dock, playing many of the board games, kayaking, paddle boarding, and using the peddle-boat provided.

Kelly was an excellent host, and responded very quickly. The place was very nice, clean and looked exactly like the photos. Kitchen was stocked extremely well, as was the whole home! Our family will definitely come here again. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! Yoh won’t regret it 🙂

We stayed at Mark's place for a girls trip. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The huge kitchen and island was great for prepping meals. We sat outside in the screened in porch with the fire each morning for coffee and chats. We loved that there were multiple places to sit outside! Definitely worth it to stay here!

We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the front yard for all day sledding! The house was spacious - perfect for our four families! Most importantly, the hosts were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely be back to enjoy the river in the summer!!

Me and my family were very lucky to find this hidden gem. We visited several peripheral cities pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, smoky mountains national, biltmore to only realize that this home and its view was the most scenic and peaceful. Of take local hidden roads they lead to the most beautiful rivers and mini falls. This was the perfect escape from busy loud cities, a place to decompress immersed in nature, where your kids can break away from their phones and live the childhood they should have had. Thank you Christie and Donovan for sharing your home and giving me and my family this opportunity to explore.

Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

Paul was so quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also very friendly and helpful. Heavens Gate, WOW, the name says it all. The cabin is so beautiful and very well decorated. When you first walk in, you're on the second floor. There's large sliding doors that lead outside to the deck that has the most amazing views of the lake. It is truly breathtaking! They have a very well equipped kitchen. It has a regular pot & a K-cup maker which came in handy. There are games, tv, great wifi and an awesome hot tub! The hot tub was hot and clean. We quickly unpacked, made a mimosa and jumped right in. That view, also amazing! The Wifi worked outside to play tunes while we soaked in the tub & amazing views. The road was scary for this FL girl, but you do get use to it. Also deer walked around the house and we saw an eagle. The beds were super cozy and there were plenty of dressers to unpack. The master shower was so nice. I can go on and on... just book it, you will not regret it!

LeeAnn was very responsive during our stay. We had keypad issues upon arrival, but she responded quickly and the issues were resolved. The space is well laid-out and was perfect for 2. The large picture window in the LR was wonderful. There are bluebird boxes just in the backyard (with bluebirds!). Because we just needed time away, birdwatching was one of the best activities for us! An added plus is the coffee maker--both conventional for making a pot and a Keurig-style. AND there was a water cooler dispenser that was a life saver.

The location and setting were everything we hoped for. We were able to get to all of the communities we wanted to investigate and found a couple we really like a lot. The boat house was perfect for us as a home base. Jack was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us the details we needed, and met with us the morning we left. We had a delightful time.

The place was spacious and was great for our group, two families with lots of kids ranging from toddlers to teens. The game room, outdoor sand play area and kayaks really made this spot for us. The house has its quirks as some have mentioned, but it was clean, beds were comfortable and happy memories were made.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved this home and property. It is in a neighborhood, but it is so private and feels secluded. We were very comfortable here. The home smelled great! The beds were SO comfortable. The host was very responsive. We would love to stay here again the future.

We Enjoyed our Stay at This Airbnb it was very clean, nice location, and looked just like the photos!! The host was extremely nice and made sure he sent us all instructions needed and more!! Muy buena ubicación, bellísimo el ambiente, un lugar muy tranquilo y silencioso, una vista bellísima frente al lago y la casa muy bien equipada y bastante cómoda

The house is such a gem!! It was perfect for our family of 9 for Thanksgiving. We could have never left the house our entire trip because the main level is so cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. My son loved the little nook area with the bean bag. There is plenty of space to spread out with the 3 different living room areas. If you want a good workout - go for a walk! The house is at a higher elevation in the neighborhood, so you will have to walk down and back up. We hiked to Laurel Falls - that was another workout! Be prepared to drive a little ways to the grocery store. We brought most of our groceries but needed a few things and the next town is 25-30 minutes away. (Of course, there is always Dollar General that is closer!) Not many places to eat out. The first night we went to the Trading Post and the food was good and the people were so friendly, we stopped back in on our way out to say goodbye!

Spotles squeeke clean place. Can't think of anything that I could point out that was wrong with the cleanliness of the cabin. The attention to detail is outstanding. The cabin is equipped with everything and more that the visitor may need. Quiet peaceful sorroundings. Communication with host was easy and quick to respond. We had a great time at Tom's cabin and if around the are again, will chose this place to stay, rest and enjoy the quietness it offers.

This place was incredible! It was hard leaving this cabin. The cabin has a ton of character. We spent majority of our time by the fire pit and by the water. The time we spent here really allowed us to connect with nature and get some much needed relaxation. It was a pleasure to stay here. Also, the host was very friendly. Can’t wait to stay here again! Already making plans for another stay!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

We went for our senior spring break trip! It was absolutely gorgeous and such a wonderful place to create such beautiful and lasting memories! Our hosts were so, so kind and welcoming! One of the best Airbnb trips I’ve ever taken!!

Great cabin close to town and Grandfather Mountain. Highly recommend!
