Michael was extremely friendly and has lots of animals on the property that are so sweet to help welcome you to the location! Michael provided lots of great recommendations and provided privacy during the stay.

This was a surprise trip for my fiancé. We both love being outside and this place provided! We loved that it’s a treehouse! Not like a lot of the over-glorified glamping ones. The one that you’ve always imagined growing up, but it had everything and more. We appreciated all the small details playfully placed everywhere. The outdoor shower and cowboy hottub were the highlight of our trip. Just be aware that you may hear some road noise in the distance, but you’ll get used to it. For those who may have gotten caught up in growing up in a fast-paced and demanding society that stole your identity, this is the perfect place that will help you rediscover and feed your inner child. Well it did for this retired Army combat medic. This WAS initially for my fiancé but I think we both were able to sink in and enjoy it together. The place has a natural way of doing that. What a peaceful stay in a cute little cabin with a view of wildlife. Graham invited us to feed the animals if we wanted to, and otherwise it was incredibly private. Really sweet hosts and we’d definitely stay again.

Great location for walking to the town square and shopping/restaurants. Clean and well maintained. Had to sweep the balcony upon arrival, but the outdoor furniture (two chairs and a table) was comfortable. We did not use the stove/oven/microwave. Laundry and dishwasher worked well. Everything was is working order. Good experience.

Very peaceful, quiet escape! The bungalow was clean, bigger than the photos and had everything we needed. Loved the full kitchen, hot/cold water dispenser, nature, and the sweet personal touches throughout the home. Really enjoyed the homemade toffee upon arrival. Was there for COTA and the track was only about a 20-25 minute drive. We had bad weather on our visit but still enjoyed the quiet. We had an unexpected bungalow problem that need repaired immediately and the owner took care of it well and quickly. Adorable dogs occasionally came by to say hello. Communication with Shelley is excellent. Just know this rental is very rural so take what you need. We loved it all and highly recommend it!!

It’s impeccably clean, with everything you need right where you hope it will be. The attention to detail is next-level—from the cozy linens to the artful lighting and tasteful furnishings. You can tell the host genuinely cares about the guest experience. The location is fantastic, overlooking the courthouse square making it easy to grab great food (like the oldest Black's BBQ) or exploring Lockhart’s charm is easy and enjoyable. I’ve stayed in many AirBnBs over the years, and this one stands out. Whether you're looking for a restful solo getaway, a romantic weekend, or a creative retreat, this place delivers. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it!

I had my eye on this place for some time and finally had a chance to stay and it was what I needed. The place was easy to find, and a great jump off spot for walking to downtown. This trip was not long enough for me to do any major cooking, but the kitchen would be amazing to use. They have very nice touches and utensils to make cooking easy. The bed and options on lighting were also better than quite a few other places I have stayed at. It's a great place for a couple or solo trip.

We had a great time staying at Jason's cabin! Everything was as described in the listing. A short drive provided us entertainment and great food as well! The animals were definitely the best part of staying. Especially Shadow! She was so sweet. Would definitely recommend. Private and super clean! Would love to visit again in the future.

Amazing location, amazing host. Lockhart is the cutest town and Amanda’s Airbnb made this the most amazing and memorable experience. Will be back!
