Great place to stay family friendly. We look forward to staying there next year.

Doug’s place was a welcome retreat for our extended family for Thanksgiving 2024. We had seven adults and 6 kids - all had an amazing time. Here are some things we really liked about Doug’s place: 1. The kitchen was spacious and squeaky clean. There were loads of appliances and helpful kitchen tools to use. Our family was able to prepare our entire Thanksgiving meal in the bright, spacious, and well-equipped space. 2. The huge dining room table easily fit our large party. We loved the dark wood and the contemporary benches to complement our holiday feast. There was also additional seating at the kitchen bar. Lots of room to entertain. 3. The kids, aged 8-16, loved playing in the basement game room. Pool, foosball, basketball, and a large device-compatible screen. The television also has many streaming services. Lots of seating and sports for lounging. The six kids loved it. 4. The hot tub was a nice touch on the cool days and nights. The tub could hold 8 adults easily. Fun times!

My family and I loved the house and property. Relaxing and the view is beautiful! I enjoyed seeing the sunrise every morning. Our dog loved all the spacious room outside. She was quite upset when she got back to our small yard! Thank you!

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in this house. The kitchen was clean and provided several small appliances to use for preparing meals. This was very peaceful with great views of the birds in the area.

This place was perfect for a busy family. We were visiting our local grandparents and it was such a relief to have a family friendly home where our kids could unwind and we weren’t afraid of them spilling on the floor or breaking anything. The decor was simple, bright, and clean. The house was perfectly cool when it was incredibly hot and humid out. We loved watching the lighting bugs flicker outside at dusk. She even helped us extend our stay by another night at the very last minute. Thank you Lauren! We hope to return!

A lovely home with rocking chairs on the deck and enclosed porch, a large kitchen, streaming television, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. One of those rare locations at which pets are welcome. Great place for a multi-family getaway!

Michael was so awesome! Very responsive and friendly. Always made sure we had what we needed. The entire resort was very well kept and we will recommend to anyone staying in the area!

This place has earned its name. Everyone in our group said that It is cozy and comfortable.are so happy to have found this little gem. We also love the vibe of Mountain View.

When we entered the place the Fireplace was warm and inviting ( one of our favorite things), the temperature of the place was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, there was coffee, butter and a 1/2 dozen of farm fresh eggs from their chickens. The king bed was so comfortable, we loved getting in bed at the end of our day. The nightstands were equipped with lamps and charging stations for your phones. Clean bathrooms with white plush towels. Our dog Thor thoroughly enjoyed running around and exploring the place and the Sunrises were Spectacular! We will be visiting this place in the future again.

We had a wonderful time relaxing at this peaceful secluded cabin. The price point was perfect for our budget. May come again in the summertime!

This property is incredible!! My husband and I and our 2 dogs had the most relaxing and wonderful week here. Our dogs enjoyed exploring and stretching their legs with all the space and we enjoyed the wonderful views, especially golden hour across the hills. Inside the space, it was extremely clean, spacious and had everything we needed. I particularly appreciated how comfy and nice the couch was because some airbnbs just buy the cheapest couch possible and call it a day. It was a little too windy to try the fire pit but maybe next time. We saw no one except for the occasional car driving past so it felt extremely private but there was a few shops and a great gas station nearby that serves hot food. A note for any dog owners, the fenced yard is closed in except for a door sized entry from the patio. If your dog may be a runner or doesn’t have the best recall, this might not be the best fit. Overall, one of our favorite airbnbs and we hope to be back very soon!

Great place to stay!! Stayed for 1 night while working in the area. The host has it listed but there is no wifi. Also be aware that there is limited cell service. Other then those it is an amazing place to stay that is up to date and very well taken care of!

Very peaceful, inside and outside the house. Comfortable beds. Very clean. The pictures don't do it justice. Listen to the owners when they say the river is not accessible from the house. It looks beautiful, especially from the glassed-in-porch. It moves fast, though, around the bend of the neighborhood, and there are trees and things just under the surface. Beautiful to look at, not safe to be in. That said, I would have felt perfectly comfortable letting my kids run around the back yard when they were little because there is a barrier of overgrowth between the yard and the river. We had a lovely Christmas getaway with my mom, husband, kids, and future daughter-in-law. The house was decorated. It felt so homey. The heat/air worked great. We made good use of the space heaters on the porch and beside the windows. I would 100% stay here again.

loved the sharing pantry and decor. the fact that there was dog food/kennel/dog doshes available was also quite thoughtful, although I left my pup with a sitter. he had menus available from surrounding areas and things to do. our host was quick to respond to any questions and we all really loved the atmosphere. gas heat, fans available, big bathtub, TV, Xbox and I believe a ps4 (don't quote me on that). games, laundry and the cleaning supplies were there so I could keep up with the house during our stay.. there was a grill and fireplace in the back yard and perfect view for the sunrise from the front porch in the rocking chairs. it reminded me of going to stay the night at gramma and papa's as a kid. also I noticed that while there was 4 beds, there was also a couple of mattress options under the beds if there was more than 4 people. thanks again!

This is a REALLY beautiful spot on the White River. We enjoyed the fire pit and caught a lot of trout. It is a very clean property with a great floor plan. Host is very responsive and attentive.

The hosts are very responsive. What a great place to spend time with family, no Wi-Fi or TV to distract the teenagers ;)

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house by the river! The location was perfect for relaxation, with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The cabin itself was well-equipped, clean, and super comfortable. Great spot for a quiet getaway. Highly recommend!

This was a great house with lots of room to spread out. Everyone had a bedroom and the kids loved the bunk beds. The entire house was very clean and well stocked. If we make it back to the Mt Home area, we will definitely see if this house is available.

My family had a terrific Thanksgiving at this home. Mtv family has lived in the area for 25 plus years. We loved that were close to town but also in the country. I would highly recommend
