Very warm and cozy room. Felt really comfortable staying here. Location was perfect and convenient right along Avenue of the Giants in the Redwoods. Wonderful host !

Evergreen Haus was just as described. We found the home clean, tidy, and our room was as well. The bed was extremely comfortable. Eddie was very helpful with tips about going into Yosemite as well as local restaurants. My grandson loved the trampoline and looked forward to our return from the park to jump.

Larry's place was extremely comfy and convenient for taking my kids skiing at June Mountain. The space was cozy and well-stocked with all the comforts of home. The fireplace and hot tub available in the building really made relaxing with friends by the fire Apre Ski delightful. We all loved it and felt well taken care of!

We spent a few nights at Eddie’s place toward the end of a three week California road trip and it was one of our most relaxing stays. The lodge had everything we needed to make breakfast and to pack lunches for a day of sightseeing. Eddie gave great recommendations for hikes in this beautiful area and for local restaurants, and his lodge is in a great location to get to both easily. It was interesting to visit with Eddie about the history of the lodge and his labor of love to make it what it is today. I definitely recommend Eddie’s place if you’re in the Yosemite area!

My family and I stayed there for the night and it was a great spot. Located right on the Avenue of the Giants in beautiful surroundings. Our hosts were there outside waiting for us when we arrived. Very convenient.

Kana’s place was great! Clean, quiet, and peaceful. We really enjoyed the location, walkable to town. I just didn’t realize it was going to be on the third floor- so I was a little sore walking up after skiing. Comfy bed! I would only suggest including 2 bottles of water for guests when they get there 👍 Thanks Kana!

Madrona's hotel is very cozy and in a serene location. In Phillipsville, the population is only about 120! Her and her husband were nice and happy to share details about the area with my daughter and I, including places to eat and hike and shops near by. Thank you, we will be returning!

It was a lovely spot! The energy of the place was very peaceful and quiet at night. It was both private and nice to have some other cabins nearby. Very close to Joshua Tree Park and restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stopover in this motel. Clean, comfortable and easy. No direct contact with staff - but everything clearly explained in advance and worked like clockwork. Superb vegetarian restaurant just a 2 minute walk away.

Marlin’s place was clean, quite very comfortable with a nice view. Looking forward to visiting more of his locations!

This is our new favorite spot to stay in the area! We come to the 29 Palms/Joshua Tree area about twice a year and have stayed at most of the inns and properties in the area, this is has been our best experience in years. Joel was so friendly and attentive and the property is absolutely awesome. Already thinking about getting married here, probably should find a boyfriend first, ha!

My dog, Lulu, and I had a great stay, the room was cozy and had everything we needed. It was also close to my hiking trail and downtown, super convenient. Our host Tara was wonderful and our dogs got to play together which was great. Overall, a special place and perfect for a get away.

Such a nice place for a getaway -- clean, comfortable and warm. My kids enjoyed the spa and when they're happy, so am I. 5/5 will return soon!

We (3 cyclists) had arrived rather late, and were accommodated very well; the decor of the room and the amenities were excellent and homely, and it was a very pleasant stay. I would strongly recommend this place

Great room in a cute little town. Privacy was a challenge because we could hear the people next door like they were in our room.

This was exactly the getaway that I needed and I stayed for two nights. I felt a sense of euphoria the entire time I was there. Nothing better than waking up in a beautiful green forest and being able to breathe the fresh air and relax in the very hot tub. I really would highly suggest you stay more than one night, it made my experience that much better. The decor in the room, and at the lodge is really great, and I didn’t need anything extra like pillows or blankets. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or a spiritual and relaxing getaway this is the place. I will be visiting here again. Thank you so much!
