Beautiful, quiet place. The time we visited we had the area to ourselves, definitely renting a boat next time. Had to drive a bit to restaurants but we had some great food (Tom's grill, the keg and Rudy's).

We had a great time at Lynnhurt resort! The house was great. Slept 13 very comfortably. We loved spending time at the beach that was right by the house! We rented golf carts, a boat with a slide and a jet ski. The entire family had a blast! The staff were super friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous location, welcoming vibe and incredible home. Highly recommend this spot for a group of friends and family. We stayed here to celebrate my sister's doctorate from Murray State and the layout of the home was fantastic for several folks to have their own spaces. We were left makings for s'mores and several fun board games to play. Absolutely lovely time and fantastic views of Kentucky Lake.

We enjoyed our stay and felt good about the price. Everything we needed was available. The communication was also good.

We actually rented 2 houses for our large family vacation which were next to each other. Both had beautiful views, were fully stocked, and very comfortable. Tracie and Rob were wonderful - friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Very grateful for the carts to take down the hill to the lake and back, especially since we had our parents with us who have mobility issues. We were also able to rent a pontoon from them for the week which was a big hit. I would highly recommend staying at any of their properties.

Very nice home. Clean, spacious and well kept. Would stay again. We were there in the winter and it was raining so no outdoor time.

We booked this location some time ago. Unfortunately we live in South Georgia and were hit very hard by hurricane Helene. We were without water and power for a week. All counties around us suffered even harder. The last thing on our minds was this trip, and we missed it. This wonderful group of people reached out to us and let us rebook for a few weeks later with no problem. I can’t begin to tell you how thankful and genuinely surprised I am by their kindness and graciousness. I will be making a trip here often.

This condo exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. You can’t beat the location and view. Beds were very comfortable. Loved having access to the garage, most condos we’ve stayed in keep the garage locked. Made unloading so much easier and gave us a place to sit outside without being in the sun. Mason was a great host and made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We absolutely will stay here again!!

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. Perfect for our vacation. Close to the lake( right out the back door) and restaurants/amenities but also allowed us the privacy to rest and relax. Would definitely recommend this cottage when visiting the area.

Omg what a fabulous place!! It was so clean, quiet, and comfortable! I wish we had a longer stay so we could have used the back patio and grill! Dale was a wonderful owner, and was there if we ever needed anything. I would, and WILL recommend this Airb&b to all my friends and family! A++

I can't say enough about our great experience at Ron and Kathy's! The place is exactly as described, warm and welcoming. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch listening to the birds and the water lapping at the shore. We also had a campfire one night and watched the sunset. If you need some peaceful and quiet days this is the place for you! Ron and Kathy were so friendly and helpful with local fishing recommendations. 😊 We would definitely stay here again!

The accommodation was just as I had expected, and the facilities were superbly maintained. I had a peaceful and comfortable vacation.

We had such a wonderful weekend away at the Mallard House! The house is set back in the woods and pretty private,especially in February during the colder season. We did not see anyone our whole stay-which was perfect for a romantic getaway to the woods. It was quiet and had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to a beautiful wrap around porch with string lights and a fire pit. We were able to disconnect for the weekend and spend good quality time together. We would definitely recommend this stay for anyone wanting to escape the busy city or a couple wanting to reconnect away from your busy life back home.

We had a great stay. Cabin was clean and quiet. Tony was very helpful and answered all my questions! Very kind and friendly. Definitely planning to come back with my husband who will LOVE fishing here!

We were staying in Dover to visit the Ft. Donelson battlefield. If you’re looking for a place that’s close to the National Park and the Surrender House this place can’t be beat. The history in this area is amazing, and I imagine the Confederate POWs were likely backed up to the location of this home before they were shipped off to their respective POW camps following their surrender at Ft. Donelson. The weather was a bit chilly during our stay, but I imagine during the summer time it would be an awesome place to enjoy the Cumberland River. This will be our first choice when we visit again in the future.

At first I was taken back bc the property and cabins weren’t what I was expecting, even tho the pictures are exactly accurate! (It was a “my brain” kinda disconnect.) Tony couldn’t have been more pleasant and friendly. He was filled with information about the lake, where to go, and what to eat. I wasn’t able to take advantage of the area because I was there for a conference. The little cabins are very much “hunting & fishing” cabins. They are small and very minimalist. But ours was super clean, with the most fresh smelling towels & bed linens. The bathroom was spotless too. I definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

Jay and Autumn’s home was a perfect retreat for a winter weekend. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room afforded gorgeous views of Lake Barkley, complete with four eagle sightings! The home is cozy, comfortable and inviting, and everything was clean and well-maintained. They were extremely responsive hosts. We would love to stay here again!
