Fantastic, extremely comfortable and wonderful home directly on the beachfront. Very comfortable beds which is always a huge plus and a fully equipped kitchen and outside grill. We were hoping to see whales and we were not disappointed - watching the Gray Whales feeding just off the deck was a real treat, not forgetting of course the ducks, seals and eagles adding all into the mix of what made a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. If we come back, can we pre-order some otters too?

My husband & I both agreed this was our absolute favorite place to stay of all the BNB's we've stayed at. We had everything we needed to cook comfortably. the games were super nice especially as we happened to hit the perfect storm during our stay. Regardless it was fun to watch the storm rage outside while we stayed cozy inside with yummy food, movies & games. The day we checked out was absolutely gorgeous so we were able to take a quick walk down to the beach. Rooms were cozy & now me teen daughter wants a princess bed. We will definitely be back!

Photos truly don't do this space justice! It is absolutely stunning. We loved being so close to the beach, and the stairs to access it were very sturdy (especially considering some other cliffside properties!). The home is spacious and perfect for large families. We even enjoyed seeing some of the wildlife on the Puget Sound - whales, bald eagles, and more. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful and the home feels very private, which is always a plus. As a host, Ben was friendly, communicative, and very responsive. Would definitely recommend this home!

Visited Patrick’s place in March and it was such a peaceful and relaxing oasis! Looked exactly like photos and matched a descriptions. Patrick is lovely to deal with and very responsive. Cannot wait to go back!

I walked into this house and instantly wished I lived there for the view. The property is amazing, the house was clean and organized, welcoming, comfortable, and great for spending time with loved ones. The master bed was very comfortable, as well as the full sized bunk beds we had adults sleeping on sharing rooms with their kiddos. Instructions for check-in/ out were clear and easy to follow, and easy directions for taking care of the house and hot tub. We were warned there were a lot of stairs and they could be icy, and they were no problem, just pack light if you can if you want to minimize trips up and down the stairs. We viewed it as a great workout! Thank you for the stay, we will definitely be back again.

Great views from the house, plenty of windows. The hot tub was a great touch and the private beach access really made it feel like your own slice of the island. Donald was very accommodating with some questions and requests we had and all instructions were very clear. Master bedroom bed was very soft and comfy but very high up which was a little difficult for my very pregnant wife, but manageable if you’re mindful of the step stool. We had plenty of space for all 9 of us and a toddler. The kitchen is also loaded with equipment and dinnerware so cooking was very doable. Maybe like an 11-12 min drive into town and 13 min to lime kiln lighthouse. The only very small improvement I can think of would’ve been just to have more lamps around, especially the common areas of the house. The lighting was a little sparse here and there but it was vibey. Thanks Donald! We would love to come back again in summer.

I absolutely loved the place. We weren't blessed with great weather for our winter stay but it was cozy and wonderful anyway. when the sky did finally clear up for us the view was absolutely beautiful. I loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

Our annual family Christmas trip took us to Kara’s place this year. Our group of 10 fit very comfortably in the house. Kitchen was large and well stocked and lots of space for the kids to spread out. Master bedroom is gigantic! Would easily fit a king size bed, which would be a great option for this house. Kara was very easy to communicate with and reached out a couple times during our stay to see if we needed anything. We would love to stay at this place in the summer to take advantage of the large yard and beach!

The cottage is very comfortable, peaceful and has a gorgeous view! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, visiting the beaches and watching sunsets from the covered porch. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept great! Husband especially loved the turntable and awesome record collection! A word of caution if you have any mobility issues- there are several steps up to the front door from where you park on the street. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a wonderful stay here! Very relaxing and had such a beautiful scenery. Peggy was very helpful and an awesome host. Would come back again.

This place was so lovely. We had a great time celebrating New Year's with our dogs. The beach is literally right off the back. Lots of bird and sea creature watching to be had out the huge windows. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. Loved the little touches like the dog toys and dog bed for our pups. We would stay here agin in a heartbeat!

Peaceful place to stay a couple of days for sure. The cottage was cute, well furnished and decorated with some nice touches. This place will have you feeling right at home very quickly. I would stay here again.

this is a little gem which doesn't look like much on the outside, and bam! adorably decorated within. it was the only area house with a king size bed for my daughter's very tall man, so it made for a lovely comfortable sleep. it overlooks the great Driftwood Shores community and its bay-quiet. A little high priced for 2 people in a Camano Island cottage but I paid it willingly for my daughter and her guy to be near me with privacy, for their visit. glad it was available and I'll definitely look for it next time family comes.

We've come back to Sunset Cottage many times, and relish the long walks on the beach. We used to only come in the summer, but have learned to love the cold weather and clear air in the winter as well. Walking on the beach and seeing the frost in the early morning light, with the Olympics clear and bold in the background, is awesome!

This was a lovely location. Quiet and peaceful other than airplane drills which was expected. I had not realized that it was a three story place and one guest has bad knees so that was a negative for us. The ground floor has a bedroom (with sliding glass door), bathroom and living area, the second floor has the kitchen, bathroom, living area (with piano) and main entry, the loft has another sleeping area. The kitchen was mostly well appointed. The driveway is a little challenging to see at first but once we knew where it was it was fine.

We had such a lovely family trip celebrating the New Year! The beach cottage had the most gorgeous views! I could stare out at the water all day and the sunsets were incredible! Our extended family was staying at another home about 5 minutes away, so this was a perfect last minute booking for us! The baby and kiddo extras were a big plus for us as we brought 3 young ones with us; two young boys and a 10 month old.

The Hideaway was everything we hoped it would be! Isolated, peaceful, and cozy. The place was as advertised, and has almost anything you need to serve a house full of people - indoor/outdoor seating space, games, easy water access, and a cozy but full kitchen. Our celebratory weekend getaway will be a core memory. Martha was very responsive for all our questions, and we found the space exactly what we needed.

This is a beautiful, cozy home with an amazing view of the water and the sunrise. We spent a week or so working here after a road trip. Fast Internet and two standing desks & office chairs made it easy and comfortable to work from this Airbnb. Michael and Echo were very responsive throughout our stay - thank you both again!

Corinna was a wonderful host and the cabin was absolutely beautiful. Nice and private, has all the amenities you will need and my son loved the DVD collection. We already booked again for next year. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. Thank you!

This is probably my favorite Airbnb of all time. The cabins were pristine and luxurious, and the lake was so calming. We enjoyed visiting with the chickens, picking fresh apples, kayaking, and lounging on the porch. So good to get away and relax! Communication with Aaron was easy and friendly. I am definitely bookmarking this wonderful place and will return in the future.

Our family of three loved this place. It was the perfect place to stay for our Thanksgiving Holiday. The "cabin" was so cozy. It had a wood burning stove which we took full advantage and beautiful lake views from the living room and primary room. Also, (and a must for me), the house is as photographed and described - completely renovated - with an open and airy layout. As noted by another reviewer, the kitchen is small but mighty, well stocked and has separate zones for cooking and coffee. For example, it had a rolling pin, which was perfect for making Christmas cookies. The location was also perfect for us. It was close to the ferry and to many beautiful parks. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

Great place in a beautiful setting with amazing amenities.

We loved staying at Ferry Cove and hope to book the house again in the future. Brooke has clearly put in lots of love, time, and energy into making her home very special. It’s clear that every detail was carefully considered and selected. You feel like you are in a very loved home that has brought many families joy and sweet memories. Whether it’s a sunny day out on the beach or a rainy day spent in the ferry basement, or you’re up early with a baby and just get to enjoy watching the ferries come and go, there’s lots of fun to have without even getting in the car. We also walked to the small park at the end of the road and walked up to Madrona Supply. There’s also several restaurants, coffee establishments, and a market that are walking distance. The house is a short drive from multiple playgrounds and other towns, so we easily popped around Southern Whidbey while navigating nap schedules for young kiddos (ages ranged from 5mo - 4yo in our group). 110% recommend!!

We wanted a dog-friendly place in the Langley area and Dagny's place delivered exactly what we needed. It's an expansive property, so the dogs had room to roam (no fence, tho). Dagny was super-responsive, too. The house was comfortable and roomy and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Note that the master bedroom doesn't have light-blocking window coverings, tho, so you might need an eye mask if that's an issue.
