We loved our stay at Ken’s place! Ken was the friendliest and most helpful host and made us feel right at home. He arranged a scooter for us which was available as soon as we arrived, left a couple of beers in the fridge, helped us get gas, and was always down for a chat. The house is really beautiful and we loved all the plants inside the open living space, which was so peaceful. We also loved hanging out with Ken and his friends at the bar or at one of the local restaurants (Aneen’s was our favourite!!) - what a fun community they built! If we ever come back to Kampot we’ll definitely stay here again!

You can have an exciting experience of living in a traditional house that is over 40 years old. The plumbing facilities are well-equipped, and although there is no air conditioning, the house has good ventilation, making it just as comfortable as a modern home. Plus, your host will provide dedicated support from their entire family at an affordable price. I only have good memories in this house.

We love staying in wooden house under big trees, and here it is! There are a few river parks/beaches alongside the river and near the house, which can be fun if you like lively activities but could be a problem if you prefer a complete silent stay, away from city noises. Thanks for your free and professional peddle board lesson. It was really nice to enjoy the beautiful, clean river and nearby landscape on the peddle boards in the afternoon. I wish there were a way to bring my phone on the peddle to capture sunsets.

Magnifique maison, au bord de la rivière, avec une vue imprenable. A l'arrivée, tard le soir, nous n'étions pas très à l'aise car la maison est semi ouverte et nous n'étions pas habitués à une telle immersion dans la nature. Karin est venue nous rassurer et nous donner de bons conseils; nous avons adoré notre séjour! Nous avons aussi pu profiter d'un excellent soin/massage au spa de l'autre côté de la rivière. On est venu nous chercher en bâteau pour nous y amener; très chouette.

Shortly: If you want to understand to take it or not - my advice is TAKE. Gorgeous place to live short time and long time. Atmosphere is wonderful: you feel peaceful, free and like home. On the map it seems a bit far from the centre, but in reality it's 10 minutes and 2$ to get there by tuk-tuk (use the Grab app or PassApp). Tuk-tuk comes to pick you up in 5 minutes max. Beautiful clean pool, absolutely amazing garden in the courtyard, a BBQ place to use. Great absolutely friendly staff and the host making your stay totally comfortable. Here you have not a room like in a hotel, but completely like a house of separate bedroom and a big living room with kitchen. All the stuff to cook is here (i love to cook and felt myself rather comfortable in it), so you can make your own food if you want to. Good technique (fridge, audio bar, water cooler, AC's, toaster etc). Next time I am in Siem Reap - I know that I'll stay here 300%. Thanks to the team!

This is not my first time staying here. If you love swimming and gym then this is the place for you. Sun, the host has always been nothing but the best. If there is anything I needed that he can accommodate, he made it happen. He once had to move my suitcase to another room because I wasn’t there. Thanks Sun. For being an amazing host.

We had a bit of difficulty getting to the villa, but it was our own faults. Our travel plans got messed up and we arrived much later than we first anticipated. Once Joseph & Cyril found this out they were extremely helpful. The villa was worth the wait. We all absolutely loved the decor of the villa, the layout, the attention to detail. It is a really lovely place and I would definitely go back!

Spectacular day and night time views from rooftop pool, great gym, quiet, yet really close to all the river front restaurants and happenings just a short taxi ride to the other side of the river. Definitely booking this place next time I visit Phnom Penh

We had a fantastic time at Rapytha’s place. If you closely follow instructions it’s relatively easy to find, we arrived at night. Just follow the “Villa Khanel signs and keep going until the end of the last bumpy path. The house is well furnished and very enjoyable.

It was a great find for us to find this place. Super clean and brand new, a lot of modern amenities and felt like a safe and relaxed environment. Use of the complex pool and gym is handy. Whilst a little out of town and somewhat of an estate if you’ve got a car or bike it’s nice and quiet and tucked away. Thank you again

Ros was very helpful, friendly, kind & dealt with the few minor issues we had very quickly. The villas were beautiful & well kept & we will miss the 3 very friendly dogs. The location was a little bit isolated but a tuktuk to the main part of Siem Reap was around $2 & could be easily arranged using an app (we used PassApp) - you will need to get a local sim card - Ros very kindly sorted this for us. You do need to be careful where you stand in 1 of the showers as it can be seen into from the pool (we didn't use that shower for that reason). The pool was cool & shaded - lovely after a day of visiting the temples. If you have young children or anyone with mobility issues they may struggle with the open spiral staircases. Air conditioning in all the bedrooms & plenty of fans to keep you cool in the living room areas.

Very nice place..peace and quiet…nice pool to cool down,but not for swimming. No sun in the garden as all shaded by the trees-so no risk of sun burn:)Daily housekeeping was a benefit and the cleaners were lovely. House not far from the city and surrounded by local people. I absolutely loved the apartment complex, swimming pool, and gym - it was a slice of heaven! The apartment is fine, though I struggled with the wifi limitations, where/how to hang my clothes to dry, and a few things that I think Sunly has plans to improve on. Sunly responded quickly and is eager to get a good rating. For those visiting Phnom Penh for the first time, it is a 30+ minute tuk tuk ride to the night market and tourist area.

What an amazing property Suy and Steve has. We enjoyed our stay and they made it extra special with all the amenities . The kids felt bad to leave the house. Very neatly maintained and has everything that’s needed . We had a barbeque night and thanks to Steve for letting us use that

Extra private. There is the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and outside balcony to air dry your clothes. The host was responsive and checkin was easy. It’s close to the gym and spa treatments. There is privacy and elevator is clean and helpful. A lot of closets and the washer machine was easy to use. Nice little place to sleep and have nobody bothering you. Extra security.

Heng est vraiment adoraable et fait une cuisine excellente avec les fruits et légumes de son jardin. Et coucher dans une des huttes traditionnelles qu'elle a construites elle-même est une expérience à ne pas rater.
