A lovely place to stay as ever, we have stayed here many times, conveniently placed for visiting friends and family and many other places of interest, lovely kitchen although you need to provide you own food this is perfect for those with restricted diets. Beautiful location too.

This was our 2nd visit to the Chapel in Duxford having visited the area a year ago. Still as spotless and accurately photographed as previously. Duxford is very convenient, especially if you wish to visit the Imperial War Museum and with 2 pubs and the Lodge to eat in the village, all within walking distance, plus Trumpington park & ride one junction up the M11 to use to visit Cambridge we would definitely recommend Matt’s place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very spacious, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of very thoughtful touches (such as toys for kids and garden games). Also a very well equipped kitchen for cooking. Communication was very clear and friendly. The grounds are also wonderful and there are some lovely walks nearby. I would absolutely recommend this place and would certainly return.

Our stay at The Holt was just perfect. It had everything we needed including a downstairs room for my mum and beautiful grounds including woodland, fields and a river with ponies and Llamas for us all to enjoy with our dog. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with stunning views. We could instantly relax and enjoy being in nature. Melanie and Phil provided really helpful information before we arrived so we knew what to expect. The holiday exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so much

Walnut yurt was fantastic The perfect retreat from a busy life where we all needed a bit of a break and down time. Couldn’t of asked for a more beautifully put together place with the most wonderful hosts Thank you we will return

We had a lovely long weekend at Anna’s Coach House celebrating my mum’s 60th with my family. There was something for everyone including our 3 toddlers. Grounds were beautiful & the house smelt lovely & clean. Anna was very responsive & helpful during the lead up to the stay as well as during our stay. The only slight negative myself and my guests had was that upon booking we had expectations that some things would be included in the price as it was shown in the photographs (hot tub, extra fire wood,electric charger for example) but these were all at an additional costs that we were unknown about when originally booking. There were a few logs but didn’t last more than half an evening. Apart from this everything was lovely & we would recommend Anna’s Coach House.

32 Headly is a modern home with a funky design and a great backyard. Kitchen was easy to navigate and functional - we cooked, ate, and enjoyed the space. Highlight was the most awesome Jura espresso machine - almost exactly like the one I have at home! I had spotted in the pictures, and I brought my favorite Sumatra Mandheling beans and they made excellent espressos that everyone was Oohing and Aahing over... Kitchen is connected to a private enclosed backyard with nice seating - just wish we were there in a warmer month for Cambridge! The funky part is that the "living room" is actually part of the only bedroom on the top floor, so there are comfy chairs and couches with our bed in the background!? it worked. The rental is pet friendly and our Cavalier King Charles Ikki was very comfortable there... Found great pubs for food a short walk away - standouts were the Geldart Gastropub which had excellent food and Salisbury Arms, which had wonderful regular and gluten-free pizza!

This is a brand new house so there were a couple of teething issues, but Nicola was extremely responsive & came out 3 times on the first day of arrival to resolve. House is very well appointed with lots of space, particularly of note were the number of places to work (3 desks in separate rooms). Kitchen was very well provisioned with lots of cutlery, knives & crockery. Almost all rooms had multiway plug extensions with integrated USB charging ports which is extremely welcome. Shops are 15 min walk away and there are a good range of takeaways that will deliver to the location. Although be aware that the postcode isn’t always recognised because the estate is so new. EV charger was a real bonus & costs are covered under the rental charge. Only slight negative is that there is still building work being carried out nearby, so some traffic & associated noise, however this didn’t really cause an issue for us. Overall a really positive experience & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Had a lovely stay, felt very homely and had everything needed and more. Would definitely recommend for a family or friends stay. Lovely kitchen to cook in or lots of restaurants around, enjoyed using the pool table and projector. Host communication and answering all our questions was quick and super helpful before the stay. Arrival very easy with self check in.

Great couple of nights in this beautiful, cosy flat. Lesley was a helpful and responsive host. We will be back.

Had a lovely stay here over the holiday season with my family of 6 (grandparents, us, kid, and cousin). Alex had even left a Christmas tree up for us (we arrived in the 24th of December) and the local recommendations were extremely helpful. Never had to wait long for answers when we had questions, and Alex even took the initiative to let us know when some extra drinks were available for us from another event, or when later check out was possible. The grounds are peaceful and immaculately maintained. The surrounding area is quiet and there isn’t much in walking distance but there are plenty of cozy and delicious pubs, cafes, and restaurants in both Newmarket and Bury, which are just a few minutes from the property. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and restorative stay away from the bustle of city life.

Myself and 6 girlfriends stayed in the Attic Apartment at Lanwades Hall and it was absolutely perfect for us. We all got our own rooms which was absolutely ideal for our group and the number of bathrooms and toilet were spot on. Alex the host was absolutely fantastic throughout, responsive to all questions before we arrived and was so friendly and helpful whilst we were there too, nothing was too much and the complimentary Celebrations went down a treat! :-) We could not fault the location either, it was absolutely ideal as it's just a walk away from Kennett Station so we were easily able to do a day trip into Cambridge within 30 minutes. It's also just a 10 minute taxi into Newmarket where we went for a fantastic dinner at Unico followed by cocktails and a live singer at a fantastic bar called Gee Gee's. If you were going to the races then it would also be perfect. Thanks so much Alex for everything, we expect to return again.
