Marge was a responsive and gracious host of her beautiful home in Currituck, NC. The home was nicely decorated and appointed. The care and pride she takes in making your stay pleasant is evident. Even though she was traveling overseas, she was proactive and responsive to ensure everything went well for the week we stayed. She also arranged for a local host to be available in case we had any urgent needs (none were needed during our stay). The surroundings are quiet providing a restful retreat from the daily activities. A large backyard area also gives options for outside activities. Highly recommend for those in the OBX region who want a place to stay which provides easy access to local restaurants as well as the Outer Banks recreations.

Excellent location. Historical spot with a view of the Currituck Sound. Flexible check in and the host was very responsive. The only thing we struggled with was sharing one bathroom with 6 guests. Thank you again for allowing us to stay!!

Perfect for our group!

Cozy and comfortable place to stay. One of the very, very few beds I’ve ever slept in on the road that did not have a huge, sleep-destroying bowl in the middle. Big plus there. Tons of space and privacy for three people for the money spent. Cannot find anything to complain about if I tried. Would definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

My 9th visit there. The remote location and laid back ambiance is what I desire and prefer.

we were in Moyock for a funeral and this location was what we needed. The view from the deck was pretty.. Bring drinkable water. Happy to have the dog run. place was clean and well stocked. Great place to sit in the dock and fish and crab and drink a few beers.

This was my first Airbnb stay and I was extremely satisfied with my stay. Margaret was very accommodating. She kept asking if I needed anything else. I went down to Elizabeth City to run the Coast Guard Marathon. When I got back to Margaret's house, she took out one of her yoga mats and showed me a few poses to help loosen up my body and stretch my back. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. I would highly recommend Margaret's house.
