We had a great time staying here. It is the perfect distance between the airport and the outer banks. It is a cozy little place to retreat to after a long day. Would love to stay again!

We stayed at Tracy's place after our son and his wife had their first baby. It was an exciting time for us and the proximity of the property was perfect. It is a beautiful setting and its clear that a lot of thought went into making the property the perfect getaway. It was cozy and felt like home from the moment we opened the door. It was nice to be in a rental that wasn't stuffy or felt sterile. From the living area, to the bedrooms, to the kitchen, we found everything that we needed, laid out neatly and ready for use. It was also nice that if you didn't have something, there was a good chance you could find it, from a tooth brush to spices in the kitchen. The outdoor area was perfect for get togethers. Its easy to get around to the places in the area. I'm sure guests will have to think about the time of year and weekend traffic to the Outer Banks, but it wasn't an issue when we were there in early March. Definitely a 5-star place to stay and highly recommended!

Cyn's place is exactly same as the photos on the web. Specially, the view from terrace is great and peaceful. It is great neighborhood for walking. unfortunately I didn't get a chance to swim in front of house. but, I sow neighbors were swimming. The room is big enough and super clean. I appreciate to Cyn for the great experience in NC. I will definitely visit again for longer period later.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is in a very quiet area with a beautiful view. The cottage is very clean, tastefully decorated, and has all the essentials. It is an ideal place to stay when exploring the outer banks area. One of the highlights of our trip was taking the ferry from Currituck to Knotts Island to visit the Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge. The ferry terminal is only about a 15 minute drive from the cottage.

What a wonderful experience we had at Wild Acres. This property was just what our family needed in order to have a fantastic time. The land was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful, and there was plenty of it to spread out and enjoy. Lindsay had every amenity known to man available at the houses, we just kept finding more and more things we didn't know we needed! She was a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful and responsive, and she even used her talents as a sommelier to curate a box of wines for us to enjoy during our trip! My entire family asked me to please rate this place 5 stars because they enjoyed it so very much; from the arcade and the bonfire to the water activities and games of pool, there was just so much to do! Not to mention the beds were very comfortable and the linens were of high quality. I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs, but this one you can tell is very well loved and cared for. Thank you Lindsay and Ed for making this celebration so special!

We had a great stay!! The house is charming, nice layout and in a great location. We enjoyed the hot tub and spent quality time on the front porch. I highly recommend this house. Great for a family or group of friends.

My husband, two grown sons, and one grandchild (3.5) stayed at Ritta's. My granddaughter called it the little house with the blue door. She loved it. We ALL did! It was clean, had tons of helpful stuff including games, towels, stocked kitchen with spices, etc.... Everything was super clean, and we had a ball. My guys all loved the game room, but I did too! Just a fun bonus. We really liked the view from the back porch...and saw lots of boats. The neighbor was super nice and even turned his lights on early to please my lil granddaughter. Overall, it was GREAT! We hope to return and stay longer. Ritta was so responsive by text and that meant a lot to me!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house was immaculately clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The surrounding views were so beautiful and relaxing. Our 2 dogs enjoyed sniffing around the yards and exploring. Dog treats, bowls, and beds were provided which was a nice touch. We spent the days exploring Edenton and Elizabeth City, and we had cozy movie nights with their smart tv. Restaurants are at least 20 minutes away which wasn’t too bad. There’s a convenience store 5 minutes up the road that also does pizza orders. We tried it one night, and it was super good! We thought this was awesome because the house was in a pretty secluded but peaceful area. Thanks for a great weekend! Definitely made memories here to last a lifetime with my family and fur babies.
