I can’t say enough about this beautiful home and location! We had a wonderful time. There was not one thing we had to go buy because they really thought of everything you may need. Even things I never would think about needing. Fishing and crabbing is great! The pier and dock are amazing! The hosts are very responsive if you need anything. We will definitely be back!

Overall we loved our stay. The hosts were great and easy to work with. The home was honestly bigger than I expected inside and the location was perfect! The home was clean and there was plenty of necessities to not find ourselves scrambling to get new things. Definitely recommend this home and hope to come back again ourselves!

My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

The Nest was very clean and cozy! We enjoyed our stay here and Ginger was a wonderful host! This place has new appliances, beds are comfortable, and nice added touches like small stuffed animals for the kids to play with while there. Ginger was very helpful after I accidentally left a couple of items after our check out time. If we need to rent a place in Groves again it will be The Nest!

We absolutely loved the place. The decorations were amazing, along with the appliances. I loved having the Keurig and filtered water from the fridge. I will say the only negative thing was the amount of wasps inside the house and the screened in porch. Outside I will tolerate them, but killing them in every room inside including the screened in porch was not good. We have another stay coming up in May and I’m sure that problem will be solved. Other than that, absolutely wonderful!

We didnt get in until well after midnight, had a little trouble finding the place. Gps sent me a block or so away. She answered even tho it was so late and helped me find the place. We didnt get to enjoy the lake because we left early for our travels home, but we will definitely be back when we can enjoy the beautiful place! Beds were like sleeping on clouds. So we got some amazing well needed rest!

Everything was just as we expected. The one thing we didn’t care for was the neighbors riding motorbikes up and down the street till late hours on our first night. That is out of the control for any AirBnB. This home was spacious, absolutely perfect for our fishing trip, and I would book here again.

The location is perfect: at the end of a paved lane, unobstructed view of (and access to) the beach, quiet. The property adjoins the Peveto Woods Bird Sanctuary and that's a huge plus. The house has everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable--complete kitchen with high-end appliances, roomy bathrooms with great showers, good mattresses on the beds excellent lighting in all of the rooms.

I really didn’t want to leave! The view was amazing and the house was very home-y. I loved the house, the beach, the area, AND the multiple DOLPHINS we saw from the balcony 🐬 Everyone we came across (locals and visitors) were so nice!
