The cottage is peaceful and comfortable. The location is impressive, just a short walk to the beach. A bit of a longer stroll will find you at some amazing restaurants. The area is safe and the neighbors are friendly and respectful. There seems to be a person in the lower unit, but we couldn't tell as that situation didn't interfere with our stay at all. Thank you Tara, we will definitely consider this space again!

Nicole’s place is cute, well maintained and furnished and the best part is it’s walkable to great coffee shops (we love Communal) and to the beach/boardwalk. Another major plus is the parking space provided since street parking is limited. It should be noted that there’s a train close by and while it doesn’t run all night long, the ding-ding-ding of the railroad crossing arms goes off quite a bit during non-sleeping hours. If you’re sensitive and like to go to bed early bring earplugs. As with all well-maintained Airbnbs there’s a personal touch and thoughtful details and Nicole is quick to respond and nearby if needed! We had a really fantastic weekend.

My partner and I stayed at Lisa’s place for 10 days, working remotely on weekdays. It turned out to be a very comfortable place for remote work; the wifi signal was even strong enough for one of us to work in the back yard if we had simultaneous meetings, and the dining room table was big enough for us both to work at all day. The kitchen was well appointed and good for cooking (we made dinner there most nights, and another time used the grill in the yard), and the living room was a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. We loved the location, so close to the beach and on a quiet street good for walking, jogging, and bike riding. We walked to coffee shops (our favorite was Interim), breweries, exercise studios, and lunch spots — no need to drive to get to Carlsbad Village or even South Oceanside! More nice touches: chargers on both the bedside tables, a white noise machine, bathrobes and a comfortable King-sized bed. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location very close to the beach! Nice courtyard where guests can gather around and visit. Within walking distance of some great restaurants and the pier. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay. This place is perfect for family with kids. Safe neighborhood and great location. Right next to the park. The host is super nice. We will highly recommend it to everyone.

Very clean and quiet in a nice neighborhood only a couple of blocks to the beach.The attention to details were amazing.She has a label on every kitchen drawer so you know what is in it.Highly recommended.

Keith and Stacey were perfect hosts - friendly, thorough, responsive, and accommodating. The place was great, exactly as described and very nice and well done inside. Tons of thoughtful details and extras, like sand toys, pack n play, and wagon for the kids. One of the best experiences we've had on Airbnb, we'll absolutely book again.

As a family of four, we had a great time. The size of the house was just right for us, and the large backyard was great for the kids. The house was meticulously organized and had everything we needed. The location is convenient to get on and off of I-5.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable home in a quiet part of Oceanside. Everything in the house was well-organized and thoughtfully put together and it was convenient to have a dedicated parking spot. Short walk to the pier, lots of excellent restaurants, and the Thursday morning and evening markets. The compact Oceanside Museum of Art packs a punch and has thought-provoking exhibits. Can’t recommend this home enough!

Very nice rental. Hosts were great, responded quickly to our asks. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely property with multiple places to sit and walk. Visually it was relaxing and a beautiful place to be. Although you are away from the city, there is still a lot of city noise (no fault of the hosts). Helicopters from Camp Pendleton fly over head and there are animal noises from dogs, etc close to the property. Fortunately, there are also a lot of birds chirping which was very nice. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

I was drawn to La Osita on the website as a place that looked like a possibility for a 2-night retreat. Everything about my experience exceeded expectations. Kara is a responsive, personable host and has created a haven. I didn’t take advantage of the restaurants or activities nearby as I was looking for seclusion. I brought my own food and everything I needed was in the kitchenette. Kara even let me borrow her French Press, even though there was a Keurig and good coffee provided. I’m THAT specific about my coffee!!🤗 The grounds, even in winter, are beautiful and private. I especially enjoyed the varieties of birds and picking oranges. It was exactly the retreat that I had envisioned for myself. I will return! I’ll even bring my husband sometime so we can explore the area. Thank you Kara, for sharing La Osita.🩷

We had amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb. The place felt like a home away from home, especially with the lovely front deck where we could relax each morning with coffee such a peaceful way to start the day. The kitchen had everything I need, with full access to all the essentials, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals. The bathroom was spotless which I really appreciated .
