this was our groups second time staying at Victoria and Mervyn's place, and we'll be coming back again. beautiful secluded location, hot tub, fire pit, nice open space with many bedrooms. when an issue arose they were very quick to fix it. we'll be back! thank you!

We stayed 4 nights in this amazing lake house. What a house! The design is perfect. The lake was completely frozen and it was such a heavenly view. We saw a wolf (or maybe a coyote) running across on the frozen lake, a beautiful fox running by but stopped to check us out, and a whole family of turkeys walking nearby into the woods. This is way more than we expected. Such a fantastic area with wonderful wild life! I cannot imagine what it’s like in other seasons when the lake isn’t frozen. I guess only one way to find out— we will be back soon, in the summer.

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

One of the most beautiful stays with a beautiful view. We had an amazing time . The plus was the Jacuzzi overlooking the lake and the Sauna.

Fantastic Family Stay! We had an amazing time at this property. It truly offers something for everyone in the family! The space is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in a breeze. The host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is superb – convenient, yet peaceful, with plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained. We loved the area, and it was the perfect place for family bonding. The property itself is stunning, with great attention to detail in its upkeep. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway with their family!

Great amenities and unbeatable views. Better than described.

I rented Kieran and Tara's coach house for a weekend of relaxing and reading by the fire with some girlfriends. This cottage was absolutely perfect! It is tastefully decorated, cozy, and private. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided us with local suggestions and easy check-in/check-out instructions, and answered our questions in a timely manner. The location was also excellent providing ample privacy while being a 5-minute drive from downtown Cobourg. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this chat to a small group or family.

The pictures doesn’t do the place justice! Beautiful location, huge but comfortable house that has large common spaces, perfect for family gatherings, and such great amenities! The kids loved the basement rec room, allowing the adults to just breathe and take in the phenomenal views while relaxing in the hot tub. We will book again next year!

A great experience ! Appreciate the TVs in each room with all the streaming options. Place was very clean and the beds were very comfy. Dylan and Brittany were great hosts and answered any questions very quickly. Would certainly book here again in the future!

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Warren was a great host and very readily available to respond. The cottage was even nicer than described and how it came across in pictures. Everything there to enjoy an amazing stay and take in the beautiful and peaceful space. Great winter getaway and could only imagine how great it would be in the summer. One of those places ya wish you were there for a longer stay.

I had an amazing stay at Ke’s property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy, and I immediately felt at home. The firepit was a wonderful touch, providing a cozy atmosphere for the evenings. As a parent, I was especially pleased that my 1-year-old baby was also very comfortable here. The space was safe and welcoming for our little one, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The scenery around the property is absolutely stunning, adding a peaceful and natural beauty that made our experience even more memorable. Lastly, I can’t say enough about the Shannon’s kindness, quick responses, and hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly welcome. I am so grateful for their attentiveness and care throughout our stay. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! I will definitely be returning in the future.

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome thanks to Casey and Moose who went out of their way to create a warm, inviting vibe. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel right at home. It was peaceful and private, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The little touches, like cozy blankets, fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful amenities such as multiple streaming options and games, really made the stay easy and enjoyable.

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

What a great spot The Rogers Retreat is! Such cozy spaces inside for family hangouts, and a beautiful view of the lake. We appreciated all the amenities and comfy furniture. It was the perfect backdrop to our cousins' reunion. Chris was a welcoming host - very accessible and great communication. Thanks for everything!

I came to this beautiful spot with my wife and five-year-old son in September. Our cottage was perfect for what we needed -- and we all appreciated the AC and hot shower! Our son had a blast playing on the playground, the beach, and activity room. He cried when it was time to leave! We all enjoyed the beautiful lake and the different water toys available, in particular the stand-up paddleboards. My wife and I had never used those before and had a ball! As huge Tragically Hip fans, we loved the various nods to the Hip on the property. Bobcaygeon itself is incredibly charming. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and it was terrific value for money. I'd recommend this to anyone and hope to return soon with some friends. Thanks for such a fantastic family experience!

This spot was great! It was the perfect refuge for a snowstorm. The kitchen was large, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was pristine when we arrived. It's a very quiet area in close proximity to Campbellford and loads of conservation areas. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the surrounding forested area, the jacuzzi in very cold weather and cozied up in the living room with Netflix and food when the weather was too cold to venture outside. Parul was a great host, she even went as far as calling a snowplow to clear the driveway for us before we left. She was always ready to answer any questions we might've had and gave clear instructions regarding check-in, check-out and any issues regarding the property. Two big thumbs up! Thank you Parul!

Our 1st time time at cottage in the winter. The amenities here make it so you want to be outside all day enjoying the Nordic Spa and warm fire. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors all day and happily cozied up inside to play games after dinner before we retired for the night. Ken was responsive all weekend for any questions or needs we had. The cottage was clean and inviting, the outdoor space was well kept and a very enjoyable private Nordic experience. Important to note, the host has a main cottage adjacent to the property you are renting. They were not onsite during our stay, but it is something i would enquire about before booking as the properties a quite close together. My family has all requested to return next winter to the same location, so its a 5 star review from us :)

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space and lovely view off the lake. It was a bit cold, even with the heating, but we were able to make a fire which helped. Only issue is that the dump is only open certain days, which would have been helpful to know, but we managed to find other places to take it. Also, there were some amenities like towels, soap etc already there which was helpful. local foodland only 10 min drive to get other stuff and loads of lovely local walks. We had a great time.

During our week-long stay at the Maple Grove cottage, we were charmed by its rustic and quaint appeal. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host, Lora, was exceptional. She was incredibly friendly and responsive to all of our inquiries and needs. When we encountered an issue with our showerhead, Lora promptly replaced it after we reached out to her. We enjoyed exploring the local attractions and various fishing spots. In the evenings, we relished the opportunity to relax by our private bonfire, which provided quality family time. Thank you once again, Lora!

This was our 3rd time at Sara & Matt's place, and needless to say we had a blast! It's the perfect spot for a fall getaway with all the changing colours. The cottage is super cozy and has so much authentic charm. The sauna was a totally highlight and it was super refreshing to hop in the lake after. We did some star gazing and even caught some of the Northern Lights one night. Other nights we spent enjoying the VHS and record collections at the cottage. Definitely recommend this place and we'll certainly be back!
