Excellent host! Appreciated Julie's advice on area & for the lending of a scale to weigh our packing! Was very roomy and the kitchen had ample dishes & appliances. We appreciated the blackout curtains for sleeping too.

Det er et helt enestående sted. Nærheden til naturen er fantastisk med havets bølger, de lange strande og fri tømmer og skønne sten som gør sig kreativ. Vi manglede ikke noget i huset og blev forkælet med god kaffe. Og selv i regnvejr er hot tub skøn 😉

We chose this place for our friends visiting from overseas, and it was absolutely perfect. The private garden was peaceful, and the treehouse was a fantastic spot for meditation. The spa, with its well-maintained privacy, was a real treat. The friendly cats made them feel so welcome. I would happily recommend this place to others!

If you're looking for 'country cool' this is the real deal. Kath & Dan are an inspiration if you want to understand what it means to live WITH nature. We missed them and their wonderful environment the moment we left.

Had an increadible time staying in Birdsong, Tanya was incredibly accommodating, warm and friendly. The home was beautiful and surpassed our expectations! Very tranquil, relaxing, cozy atmosphere. Even more increadible than in the photos! Couldn't fault the experience and would love to come again in the future, definately a must do. Highly recommend :)

If you’re adventurous and enjoy unique places, then like us, you’ll love this place!Thankfully for us the weather cleared the afternoon we arrived and we had fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding areas. Some persistent stoking of the hot tub paid off and a good relaxing soak in steaming hot water as the clouds rolled in and rain started in the late evening was beautiful!

The tiny house farm stay was a unique place. Cosy and quirky. Bianca and Andrew have done a fantastically creative job in converting the woolshed too. Bianca and Andrew were both so helpful and personable. A really neat spot which we thoroughly enjoyed.

First, remember this is a farm. It's more modest, a little wonky with the loo, so it's not the Hilton. it's very clean, cozy and comfortable. I like that it's outside the hubbub of town, yet an easy drive in for food and activities. With the 2nd bed in the living room, I would say it's best suited for a family than couples traveling together. I enjoyed feeding the ducks and chickens some peas I bought at the grocery store in town! And we really enjoyed the fresh eggs and milk that was shared with us.

The place is very nice and quiet and very big. We had very good sleep, the beds are comfy. Minor thing - there are many insects flying into the house, you should watch out to close everything all the time.

We were very happy with our stay. It didn’t feel like an Airbnb, it felt like a home. Wendy was very friendly and came with a lot of recommendations. The kitchen was filled with spices, cooking supplies and all of the necessary equipment. Overall it was truly a 5/5 experience!

Absolutely amazing house - large new and extremely well furnished in an excellent location close to everything Hanmer has to offer.

Fantastic, stylish house. perfectly located for easy access to beach and the main St of town. thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Fantastische Lage mit super Blick von der Terrasse oberhalb des Oezans. Grill vorhanden, Sonnenuntergang direkt von der Terrasse einmalig. Einrichtung liebevoll und individuell, aber man sollte keinen top modernen Standard erwarten. Für uns aber voll ok, soll keine Kritik sein. Kochgelegenheit mit 2 mobilen Kochplatten, mit denen größere Gerichte etwas Kreativität verlangen. Dafür aber noch Außengrill vorhanden. Kurze, aber steile Auffahrt auf Schotter mit teilweise ausgewaschenen Rinnen. Stellt prinzipiell kein Problem dar, sollte man sich aber zutrauen. Kurze Wege zu den Pancake Rocks und Pororari River Gorge. Wir würden definitiv wieder buchen.

Jill and Dave were fabulous hosts. Helpful and generous without being intrusive. The apartment was roomy , comfortable, quiet and very well equipped. The provisions were excellent, and the fresh eggs just kept coming. The location was close to town, the beach and the main cycle trail. Just the best AirBNB for us and we would love to go back.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

Beautiful little place to stay, we were sad to leave! Great amount of space for us, comfy and clean. Everything was provided that we needed for breakfast and more including delicious treats! Pool was also fabulous for a swim. Sue and Greg are fabulous hosts, super friendly. Will definitely recommend!

The place suited us perfectly

We had a lovely weekend at Richard’s. Perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. With mixed weather we got to make the most of both the fire place and hotpool but also the swimming pool on the hot day. Highly recommend the farm tour - such a beautiful place and Richard was an excellent guide and host!

Lieu atypique et plein de charme. Nos enfants ont adoré dormir dans l’ancien garage des diligences avec les selles des chevaux exposées comme décoration. Mike et Linda ont été très accueillant et nous ont fait faire le tour de la propriété qui réserve de nombreuses surprises! Malgré le temps pluvieux nous avons passé un très bon moment !

I would highly recommend staying at Chas’s beautiful place if you are looking for somewhere beautiful & relaxing to get away from the rat race. The spectacular views were amazing
