Beautiful home, with beautiful bedrooms, multiple entertaining areas both in and outside. Space was well kept and just gorgeous and in an absolutely gorgeous scenery. It was awesome being able to use the kayaks and spa but wish we had some extra towels.

A classic kiwi bach! Very handy having two showers and a separate toilet. We loved having a coffee machine, a bbq and beach towels available. Thanks Sally for having us 😊

Great place to stay.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Refugium, sehr privat und voller schöner Dinge zum entdecken. Hier können sich alle - von Groß bis Klein - wohlfühlen. Es hat uns allen viel Spaß gemacht, z.B. die Glühwürmchenhöhle zu entdecken, während eines Bades im Pool die Sterne zu beobachten oder am Bach nach Gold zu schürfen und die Flusskrebse zu beobachten. Unser Highlight war eine persönliche Führung durch den Wald auf den Pfaden der früheren Goldsucher und zur Goldmine. Wir zum Land und zur Geschichte sowie der Natur viel gelernt. Fran und Grant waren tolle Gastgeber. Ebenfalls können wir den Tip zum Besuch der Carew Falls absolut weiterempfehlen. Der Weg ist einfach und der Wasserfall sowie die Aussicht sind unglaublich lohnenswert.

Wonderful home that catered to our family perfectly, would definitely stay again. Only issue was how hot it was in the upstairs bedroom but we did manage to keep it cooler for the second night 👍🏻

We absolutely loved staying at Jan’s place. Such a great location, with so many places nearby to visit. One day we visited Oamaru and the next Mt Cook. The geological sites near Kurow-Duntroon were amazing. The lakes are gorgeous, I only wish I brought my bike with me. Our dog also loved Jan’s place as she was safe and secure in the fully fenced gorgeous garden.

It was peaceful and private. Our host was lovely and insightful. Was just great for a get away and bird watching. Close to many things and far away from things that is busy. Highly recommend having a stay here. Love everything including the spa. Looking forward to my next visit.

We loved Vic and Steve’s place, and only wished we had been able to stay here longer! The house was immaculate when we arrived and more than enough space for the four of us. The views of Lake Tekapo are incredible, and it’s a short walk down to the lakeside. Would highly recommend!

We had a very unique experience staying in the old school building. This Airbnb is incredibly spacious, featuring a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and an oven, along with plenty of pots and pans. We appreciated the milk that was provided in the fridge. There is also a washing machine available for guest use. The bathroom includes a toilet, and there is a separate toilet room, making it perfect for larger groups. The sleeping quarters are separated by metal sheets, as described, which provide visual privacy. Overall, it was a wonderful and unique experience, and we would love to return sometime.

This is a very large and luxurious apartment. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Right next to the park, which is great. We booked this just one day in advance because a medical issue necessitated a one night stay in Christchurch. This was a great place for us. Excellent communication. No negatives at all. Highly recommend.

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

Was a lovely place so was near everything we wanted.

Wonderful place and great for a big family. Just as a note there is one room in the house that is rented out as a separate airbnb however it is completely closed off from the rest of the house. A great house, comfortable and clean!

Great place for sky gazing, view of Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook. Clean house, had everything except mixer (for morning smoothie :) ). Great place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at the the Beech Cottage and the Designer Cabin. Staff were extremely friendly in helping us organise an extra night last minute when our flight was cancelled, which we really appreciated. Both airbnbs were walking distance to the lake and town which was great as we could just put our toddler in the pram and explore the surrounds by foot. The airbnbs were clean and matched the photos.

Location is priceless! Never been so alone in a house, no neighbours near and we had the house just for us! At night the silence is something incredible, not a single sound… and seeing the night sky from the garden was phenomenal. The house is huge and beautiful, with a super big kitchen to cook some food. Charlotte always was an incredible host, we would love to come back to this amazing house!

I very highly recommend Jana’s place!! Jana was very friendly and told us that she and Sean designed and built the Kowhai Cottages (2 of them) themselves. The design of the cottage and furnishings were brilliant in their simplicity, sleekness, efficiency, and comfort. The highlight was the outdoor stainless steel tub, which we sat in 2 out of 3 nights to gaze at the clear starlit sky. Simply amazing to see so many stars! There was plenty of hot water and the tub was perfect for two. One night I awoke in the middle of the night and saw the Southern Cross perfectly framed by the skylight above our bed. Jana also provides books and an informative packet of materials about hikes and activities in the Mt Cook area. We could not have been happier there!

Loved our stay in St Bathans. Great location, close to Blue Lake and the Vulcan Hotel, tidy and comfortable home, super helpful and responsive hosts. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage near Lake Pukaki. The entire family loved it! The cottage is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains that you can enjoy from every angle. It truly exceeded our expectations. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. It’s also easy to find, which added to the stress-free experience. We had the best time here and didn’t want to leave. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, and we’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene holiday with unforgettable views!

A lovely spot in the countryside to wait out the weather during our fishing trip of the South Island. The doggies loved the fenced section too!

Beautiful property and location, inside was spotless and well stocked. The furnishings inside were really high end and tastefully thought out. The outdoor bath was amazing and the best selling point. Only tiny critique would be that the internet connection was hit and miss but this didn’t detract from a great stay.
