The room is spotlessly clean and includes extra space that can be used as a living room. It has everything you need, and the host was exceptionally helpful and caring. Highly recommended!

My partner and I stayed with Keryn at the end of our New Zealand backpacking trip, and we agreed it was one of the best places we stayed during our travels. The property had everything we needed and was only a short bus journey away from the centre of Christchurch. Keryn's hospitality was the highlight for us both. She had great tips about things to do in the city and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we come back to Christchurch and can highly recommend.

Rachel's place was very quiet and peaceful. Our kids loved the ruralness and seeing the chickens. The fresh eggs and homemade bread were a special touch. Unfortunately due to other circumstances we were only able to spend one night at Rachel's place instead of our scheduled 2 nights. Definitely recommended.

Shaun and Vanessa were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming. We were very comfortable and we all enjoyed showing our little granddaughter all the animals. The breakfast was great and hot tub under the stars just lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you both.

Margaret’s place had everything you would ever need in a place - it was clean, modern, secure, private and had a comfy bed and a great shower. Her garden is fantastic! It was a relaxing and picturesque place, close to everything and we loved staying here. Margaret gave us some great recommendations on things to do and see in Christchurch and was a friendly lady - what a great experience! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Christchurch.

Margaret is a superb host and the cottage is really lovely. Lots of little extras provided, and loved that we could take the little lavender bags that Margaret gave us. We had a great time there and would highly recommend the place

We stayed for a night whilst travelling South and were really impressed. It all starts with the views across the pasture and into the mountains which are visible from all three rooms. We loved looking out from the bedroom at the sheep in the back field and outwards, its beautiful on the clear day we were there. The units itself is perfectly equipped, very comfy bed and linen, enormous shower with all the required amenities and a cosy kitchen living space. The Outside Fire would be a great way to round out a days adventure.

Modern, comfortable, fully equipped, exceptionally clean appartment in a very quiet and peaceful area. Truly, a home away from home! The location is perfect for exploring Christchurch (short drive) or hiking in the Alps. The Airport is 15-20 min of driving. A few fantastic walks within 40 min of driving (Trigg M, Rakaia gorge, Mt.Oxford just to name a few). A perfect base for exploring the region. Welcoming and helpful host. Would definetly come back.

Absolutely exquisite, exceeded all our expectations. Everything was so clean and new. All the little touches meant you could tell Anthea & Wayne have really put in a lot of effort to make your stay a great experience. Stand outs were the linen bedding & awesome selection of coffee and tea. Even the outdoor umbrella, they’ve thought of everything. A must-stay if you’re in the area or passing through.

Sarah and Richard were fantastic hosts. They provided a clear and detailed description of their place, highlighting aspects that might not be suitable for young children, which was helpful as we were traveling with our 8-month-old baby. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful while also being very respectful of our privacy. We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, as well as the company of their cats and chicken—who is like a friendly dog 😄)

A hidden gem of a place. Spacious rooms, large very well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, very modern amenities. Luxurious linens and toiletries that you’d find in a 5 star resort added to the comfort. Tracy is a wonderful host and thought of everything to make our stay special and was readily available for any request. The mountain views are breathtaking. And, amazing stars on a clear night. Peaceful and quiet, away from the hustling crowds.

Our stay at view with a room was stellar! Shirley is an extremely thoughtful host. She has everything you could possibly think to need with some very thoughtful touches such as freshly laid eggs that were left for us. The accommodation was impeccably clean and so well thought out. Modern bathroom, nice lighting. Beautiful views in a peaceful and serene setting. We walked at low tide to see the starfish, what a fun adventure! Shirley has a tide chart printed so you can time it just right. We loved our time at view with a room and highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you again Shirley!

We stayed for two nights in this extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment. The kitchen is really very well equipped, beds are super comfy and the apartment is warm and very quiet. Super instructions on how to get there and how to get in. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely place in the centre of Christchurch. Beautifully appointed, great kitchen, pleasant responsive host. You can walk or bus everywhere from here, no need for a car.

This was a perfect base for visiting our family in Christchurch. Grandchildren are great but it was good to escape to such a pleasant location and there was free use of the pool!

The summer house is one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed: the view over the city is amazing, the kitchen is stacked with appliances, the bed is very comfy and Jan and Geoff are very friendly hosts/neighbours. They thought of everything: there is a complete instruction for everything you might need during your stay! If you do have questions, they are easy to contact and reply quickly. There are plenty of walks available from your doorstep and it’s just a short bus or bikeride into the city. We cannot recommend this place enough!

We just stayed at Sonja’s AirBnB for a month and were sad to leave as it really felt like home and Sonja is a large part of that along with her comfortable, welcoming, clean and spacious accommodation. The garden is a lovely extension of that space too and is even better than the photos!. We enjoyed interacting and having fun with Bobby, Sonja’s dog but you don’t have to when staying there. We would happily return to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sonja, as to us she’s a Superhost and now also a friend. Thank you Sonja.

L’appartement est très bien placé, un peu excentré mais le centre de Christchurch est facilement accessible avec la ligne de bus 27. La rue est jolie et paisible. L’appartement est propre, fonctionnel et bien rangé avec vu sur les collines. Les collines sont accessibles à pied pour faire de belles randonnées avec vue sur la mer et la bai de Lyttletown.
