Great gem of a place. Was working nights and Arthur’s place was just the ticket.. had flexible check in and out and was a superb host. Nice touches with the milk, butter and bread- much appreciated.

The cottage boasts a stunning and peaceful view of the Inner Sound. Fantastic welcoming basket from our host and well stocked with all the kitchen necessities. Great home base for all of your Skye day trips. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is within short walking distance from the centre. We would happily return.

This place was wonderful! It was all set up and warm when we arrived. The amenities were superb and the location and proximity to Oban’s attractions cannot be beat. Nick was a wonderful host. Clear instructions for getting in and out, and easy parking instructions.

Had a great stay at James places, good base to explore surroundings. Would happily go back.

The property was very comfortable and cosy and beautifully fitted out, with interesting features of an old house. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and plenty clean towels laid out for us. The beds were very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay, with the flat adding to the enjoyment of our break. The place was lovely and warm during a winter month, which we were very grateful for. The off-street parking was very nice to have and we enjoyed the closeness of the place to the town centre, walking across the bridge every day for different things.

Great accommodation, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Skye with a large group. The accommodation was ideal with two lounge areas, en-suite in all of the rooms and a fantastic view and location perfect for travelling around Skye.

This place is fantastic. The house is mega, and can’t beat the location. Jack and Guadalupe were top notch hosts. Will hope to have this place again next time we’re in the highlands.

Just WOW! The house was perfect. Anna was lovely. The area was stunning. We stayed for 11 nights over Christmas and New Year. The house had everything we needed and more, including a decorated tree waiting for us when we arrived. The free wood to keep stove going was much appreciated! The walks directly from the house were beautiful, waterfalls and enchanting forests. The drive to various other exciting places was easy. Dingwall for SPL football, Loch Ness, Isle of Skye and Glen Coe to name a few! A must is visiting Emily’s Byre at Rokeby Manor for food…. Utterly delicious. We’ll be back for sure! Fantastic stay. Everything was so perfect and homely.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Glencoe. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, das Haus zu finden (Google Maps zeigte ein falsches Gebäude an) lief der Check-in einfach und unkompliziert. Super waren die zur Verfügung gestellten Waschmaschine und Trockner. Alice war immer freundlich und schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem eine wunderbare Erfahrung.

The waterfront location is nice and with easy access to everything you need. It’s very convenient if you have a car because there is parking right in front of the house and it’s a quick drive from the airport yet still in walkable distance to the downtown area. The house is comfortable and clean and we had a nice time.

Stayed for 1 night as we were working in the area. Good communication from host, easy to access and clean, bright accommodation.

We had the privelage of staying here from 16 March to 23 March 2025 and it was everything we needed. It was nice to have the balcony to step out onto even though the weather was still cold. All the facilities were more than enough. I would suggest a shower mat though as stepping in was slippery. That is the only thing we could add to th inventory that was supplied. We travelled to Edinburgh, Loch Lomond etc etc as it was so central. Thank you for making our stay, one to really have enjoyed. Worth staying here for sure. Heating was awesome and you need nothing more than your personal little "quirks" as we loved it.

Our stay over the Christmas holiday was fantastic and made even more amazing by our hosts who went the extra mile to make our holiday extra special. The added touches of a Christmas tree and decorations, Christmas hamper and hot chocolates made our stay feel like home. The apartment was perfect for our holiday: modern, comfortable, nicely decorated and most importantly very clean which made staying in a pleasure on a rainy day. The view over the river was a real treat: seeing the river change with the weather, watching birds and catching the odd glimpse of otters was a great experience for the children. We would like to thank our hosts for giving us all an amazing home away from home.

We absolutely loved our stay in Pitlochry! Alyson’s apartment was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and in a fantastic location. Alyson was the perfect host. She was very responsive, met us at the apartment to welcome us and gave us some lovely recommendations. Our stay here was worth every penny and I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to Pitlochry. Thank you so much Alyson!

We had two nights at the apartment during the Winter Words festival at the theatre. Beautiful location, extremely comfortable, quiet and spacious apartment. Easy 10 mins walk across the river to the theatre & very well located for the town centre. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely breathtaking surroundings! We woke up to a stunning view of Ben Nevis with a dusting of snow, and wandered down the beach to look out over Loch Linnhe framed by low hanging clouds, mist coming down the valleys, and early morning sun steaming the shallows. Our amenities were perfect, and we even managed to roast a chicken to go along with our bubbly to celebrate Hogmanay 🥳 Peggy was a very welcoming host, had ventured out into the storm on the evening of our arrival to take pictures to help us find our home for the night - thank you!

This was the most cozy stay. Perfect clean and near Loch Ness. It was quiet and serene. Highly recommend!

The property was spotlessly clean, has everything you would need for your stay in the kitchen along with many other nice little touches. Very comfortable bed and linen smells soooo fresh. Hosts are very friendly and informative. This is an absolute gem of a place to stay if you want to tour this area. Will definitely book again when in the area.
