A very clean and private house in a beautiful setting. Perfect getaway, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Very nice cottage, everything just like the photos. Shower had warm water which is usually a problem when staying over at a place. Hot tub nice and clean. Nice and private very calm beautifull views. Has wifi. Attention to detail well done like having salt and pepper, tea coffee suggar ect. Also had shampoo and body wash in shower. Thank you

lovely converted old property on quiet street .. was a bonus to be linked to the De Kloof Hotel and be able to easily walk to use the pool . the property was stylish and full of everything you need . highly recommend

Views views views! Stunning location with 180 degrees ocean view from the spacious veranda. Cozy house with spacious bedrooms! We loved the fireplace and the complimentary jigsaw puzzles provided :)

Lovely location, remote enough for nature lovers but just 15min from Gansbaai for groceries, etc. Plenty of scenic walks for all fitness levels, multiple swimming spots, nearby Lomond wine farm has great MTB trails. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, the covered outdoor seating area with braai is a relaxing vibe. Would revisit for sure.

We had the most wonderful stay at Rivergate. The farm is gorgeous and peaceful and if you like these sort of environments, this place is for you. Our family enjoyed the beautiful interiors and exteriors and the hot tub was an utter hit with the kids. A highlight was the fresh breakfast basket delivered every morning. The farm has lots to enjoy from kayaks and canoes for the river, walks, flower picking and more. It was such a delight and I hope we can be back for a visit in the future. Our one negative was that we unfortunately had small bats nesting in the roof of our bedroom which disturbed us in the evenings. The Rivergate family was seeing to their removal so hopefully they won’t be a bother for anyone else. It’s a rural and beautiful setting so understandably you will share space with some creatures but this did not detract from the wonderful stay here.

A Truly Magical Escape – Frog Mountain Stole Our Hearts Wow, some places truly touch your soul, and Frog Mountain is one of them. You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

What a memorable stay in Hermanus, made more so by Marinda. Location was ideal. Quiet yet close to everything. The cottage was in a beautiful setting as Marinda's garden is breathtaking. Odie and I felt completely at home in the cottage, including interaction with neighbors! Marinda is a kind soul, always looking out for me and Odie. Cannot wait to visit again during whale season!

We stayed 5 days at our Arniston Seaside Cottage and just loved it. Total privacy just a block from the beach, with so many simple luxuries—a walled courtyard with covered outside table, outdoor shower and a clothesline. Heated towel racks, lots of hot water, comfortable bed, and everything we needed in the kitchen. Service was friendly and prompt, with excellent suggestions for Kassiesbaai restaurants with traditional fish dishes—they were out favorites. We swam near the hotel, explored the cave, walked the beaches at low tide, and drove to Cape Agulhas for the day. An excellent base for all we wanted to do, Arniston is lovely and unspoiled. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

What an epic place! Waking up by the sea was very special and the cottage had everything we needed. Great comms from Julie, and the WiFi is really quick (I needed to take a video call).

We planned a riverside getaway with some friends and a boat. House has a lovely deck overlooking the river and floating jetty- we spend many hours there. The house itself is really well suited for a family. It has ample outdoor furniture and deck space to enjoy. The Nespresso machine was a treat. The area is safe and quiet, neighbours are close, but never felt intrusive. The house has access to a well kept slipway- launching a smallish boat with a 4x4 was pretty straight forward. Reaching the house with a 2x4 is possible, but would recommend using a 4x4.

It was a lovely property where we would stay again in a heartbeat when we’re revisiting the area. Located nicely close to the centre, we felt safe and were able to reach all of the wine domains in the region easily

A lovely cottage perfect for our relaxing Christmas getaway. Quiet, cozy, and just what we needed. The swimming hole and stunning views were a highlight. Highly recommend!

LOVED our 3day stay, could have stayed a week. Beautiful surroundings, we loved sitting on the grass looking out on the dam. comfortable beds, had all aminities for a weekend away. our dogs loved swimming in the dam. perfect break away for the weekend. we also booked the cottage next door, a perfect group away setting.

We enjoyed our stay at Anel’s charming rustic cottage. Loved the outdoor area and all the lush greenery. The pool table added a fun element to our night. Anel was very responsive and a great host.

We loved our stay! Perfectly positioned in Greyton - a few steps away from the lovely restaurants. Gorgeously decorated, fairy-lit courtyard, great communication... we will be back :)

Great host, very welcoming, accommodating and a wonderful pet friendly cottage

A fabulous location and a truly tranquil garden. It is clear that this is a special place for Darryl and Ron. The house is very well kitted out, the back garden is beautifully kept and the birds just love it! Communication with them was very easy. They are proactive and thoughtful hosts, and respond quickly to any questions. We will be back!

We stayed for a week and had a great time. Beautiful house with a large garden. The town itself is quiet and peaceful. It’s a 15min drive to the closest beach.
