We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. We were surrounded by nature in a very peaceful environment. The house was equipped with everything we needed, was very comfortable with large windows to take in the amazing scenery. The coffee machine was an added bonus. We looked forward to coming back to relax after a day of exploring the island. Definitely recommend!

Thank you for letting us stay in your home Ian. The place was exactly what we needed, very short walk to the beach. We ate in most nights so I was very appreciative of the high quality appliances - so refreshing to have a stove and oven that work perfectly. Everything was great - our only recommendation for improvement would be to pop a pair of rubber gloves under the sink to make washing up a bit smoother.

What a a wonderful place! Located less than a 5minute walk to the quiet emu bay beach and jetty, and only a 15minute drive from the main town, it was a lovely getaway in a clean and well equipped air bnb. Great views from the deck of the sunrise over the bay, and we saw pelicans and kangaroos every day. The hosts gave us heaps of recommendations prior to check in and were quick to communicate with. The house has a large securely fenced yard for the dogs to run around on. It was a beautiful week spent at Emu Bay!

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! The pictures do not do it justice. The house is large, comfortable and immaculately furnished. The views from the deck are amazing. We loved the location, being only a few minutes from the beach and in a great spot to explore the island. Our hosts were extremely helpful and kindly allowed us to check out late. Our only regret was not staying longer.

This was a great place to stay. In Vivonne Bay, it is near Flinders Chase National Park, Seal Bay etc and has its own lovely walk-to beach. Has excellent facilities and is very comfortable with pleasant surroundings. We loved that a 10 amp power point had been installed next to the car parking so we could charge our EV overnight in 12 to 16 hours. (Bring your own cable). Getting to a public charger would have been quite difficult.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Liz und Cliff. Sie waren fantastische Gastgeber und die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich, tadellos sauber und sehr privat. Wir hatten alles, um uns wirklich sehr wohl zu fühlen. Die beiden waren so zuvorkommend und haben uns jederzeit sofort geholfen, wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten. Gerne wären wir noch ein paar Tage geblieben. Wir empfehlen es jedem, hierher zu kommen und ein paar wundervolle Tage in dieser Unterkunft bei herzlichen Gastgebern zu übernachten. Vielen Dank an euch!!!

Wonderful place to stay! Have nothing but positive things to say. Clean and extremely comfortable. Light and airy. Great beds! Kitchen has everything you need. Beautiful outdoor areas. As close as you can get to the magnificent Vivonne Bay beach. Just a 2 minute walk! We had a visit from a Wallaby and an Echidna in the front garden. Best place to stay to visit the South Coast attractions. Admiral's Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Hansen Bay, Seal Bay, Bales Beach. So much easier than travelling from Penneshaw or Kingscote! And what an absolute pleasure to return here after visiting these wonders during the day. Hosts were great at communicating and very helpful. Lots of information also at the house to guide you. If (when!) we return to KI we would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to everyone we know.

Amazing stay, super quiet house in the middle of a farm, yet with modern amenities. Great for families with books and toys available for our two young kids. Tons of space, and the kids were very excited to watch the farm animals graze. The welcome gift of fresh bread and wine was an awesome touch. Nighttime stargazing was incredible as there's not another light for miles (as long as you don't trigger the driveway motion-sensing floodlight 🙂) Weather was good while we were there so the A/C only being in the master bedroom wasn't an issue; opening the front and back doors got a healthy breeze through the whole house. It did get a bit chilly overnight but the two space heaters provided did a good job for us (not sure what happens if you're using all four bedrooms, though). Note that we did see quite a few ants in the house, so you need to clean up well after each meal. But you should probably expect some bugs in a house of this age as the sealing won't be perfect.

Loved all the wildlife and saw more at Sue’s than in the national park. So nice to see the KI kangaroos, Koals and even an Echidna not to mention lizards and birds.
