wonderful place by the bay to spend Christmas with the family! lots of bedrooms as well as a bunkbed room made it really convenient and nice

Debbie’s place was nothing short of magical! The highlight was definitely the garden oasis. The landscaping was magnificent and at night, you can hear nothing but cicadas and it felt like you were somewhere else. There was plenty to do outside including the fire pit, two tables for dining, beach chairs for lounging about, water hoses to rinse off sand, the list goes on and on. We took our dog with us and he was obsessed with the well-manicured grass and we felt safe because it was completely fenced in. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The sunroom was a second highlight! We could lay there all day and watch TV or read. We mainly chose this listing because it was a quick drive (around 15min) to Wildwood Beach. It was also close to groceries (Walmart was a short drive). It has everything a couple or big family would need and Debbie was quick to respond to anything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay! Meg was super responsive and helpful, everything was exactly as pictured - beautiful and clean, and neighborhood was peaceful and great location. We loved the ease of check in and out, that kids items were available (less to bring and pack!) and pets welcome. We loved being able to enjoy the spacious, fenced in backyard with our dog. Highly recommend Meg and her lovely home. Would definitely stay again!

Loved our stay at Diana’s cottage! Peaceful street and a quick walk to the bay beach, which our dog loved. 15 min drive to Cape May and Wildwood. House is cozy, clean, and comfortable - exactly as pictured. Diana is very responsive and friendly.

We had a great weekend stay at Brian’s place. Everything was exactly as described and just what we needed for our time with our toddler and our dog. Fenced in yard was a huge plus as well as the spacious bedrooms. Thank you!

Great little house on the south side of Margate. We were in town for a festival in AC and it was cheaper to stay here for the weekend and uber into AC than it would have been for one night stay at one of the casinos. It is very convenient as you're a 10 minute walk away from dozens of restaurants, the beach, the bay, CVS, etc. It was also great that we could bring our dog!

Family stayed at the house for a wedding at MudHen Brewery. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Would recommend the house to friends and family in the future!

Joe's place was a wonderful and much needed getaway for our family. It was exactly as advertised and as it looks in the pictures and Joe was a great host that was always friendly and proactive with instructions and communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend Joe and his place to anyone considering it.

We really enjoyed our stay. House was very nice, well kept and spacious. Beautifully decorated and just an overall great space for our needs. Nancy communicated well and was very responsive from booking to check out. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

Elizabeth's place was so cozy and it felt very welcoming! We got in late on check in day and everything was easy to find in the house. . The house feels very much like home. The kitchen had everything we needed too. Our family of 5 and our 2 dogs loved the space inside as well as the fenced backyard. It had plenty of room and the beds were all very comfortable. Elizabeth was very quick to respond when we had a question too! We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful property! So close to the bay with absolutely beautiful sunset’s. Convenient to downtown Cape May. Great backyard! Entire family enjoyed the pool, fire pit, & having a fenced in yard. Would highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay at Robert's house. Check in was easy and we found the house very clean and tidy. The main living room has a massive couch that was super comfortable, and the TV had plenty of streaming options to keep us entertained. The kitchen was perfect and had every modern amenity we could ask for. We cooked a full Christmas dinner and never felt cramped or like we were missing something. There are plenty of spaces to lounge in throughout the house and 4 bedrooms upstairs, plus laundry and a billiards table in the basement. Having 3 full bathrooms is a plus, and while we couldn't use the pool outside, it is also a huge selling point. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the house is actually within a short walking distance to the beach which was lovely. You will also be a short drive away from down town Cape May where there are tons of shops and restaurants. All in all this was a great first visit to Cape May and we look forward to staying there again!

This cottage absolutely lived up to its name, The Perfect Escape. I booked this place after another host canceled my reservation. I'm glad she did because I can't imaging having a better experience than I did here. I usually look for rentals that don't allow pets, but I agree with a past reviewer that my allergies weren't triggered; there wasn't a trace of pets having stayed there before, so they do clean the house really well. While the house is great, Peter & Alyce have really created a top notch experience by providing everything you could think of (bedding, all types of towels, kitchenware, toiletries). We didn't leave the house much since we wanted to take advantage of the awesome pool. It was heated to the perfect temperature and there is a seating area on the side of the pool that always seems to be graced by the sun. Taking outdoor showers was another highlight and the backyard is very private. Communication w/ Peter was smooth. I can't recommend this place enough!

This was such a great budget friendly place for my friends and I to stay at for spring break. Adrienne and Matthew were extremely kind and helpful and responded to messages quickly. The place and property truly is beautiful and comfortable, and there's a ton to do within 15 minutes from the house as well. The beach being a five minute walk from the house let us see some great sunsets, and the hot tub and firepit allowed for some great chill moments with friends. How cozy and comfortable this house is truly made our trip unforgettable, and I hope I will again have a reason to come down to Cape May so I can stay here again. For the first airbnb I have booked, Adrienne and Matthew were such perfect hosts and I hope my future experiences on airbnb can be like this as well.

If you’re planning a trip to Cape May and wondering where to stay, I highly recommend Avalon Road. The photos simply don’t do justice to how beautiful this home is in person. Teresa has done an incredible job decorating the space and making sure her guests feel right at home. This isn’t your typical Airbnb, you can truly see her passion for hosting. We were so grateful her home was available for our stay; it was absolutely perfect. The beach was just a six-minute walk away, and watching the sunset was breathtaking. Plus, all of Cape May’s attractions are relatively close, making her home a convenient place to stay. If I had to describe this stay in one word, it would be “peaceful.” Teresa is a fantastic host, and I truly hope we can visit again!

Lena is such a great host! very communicative and accommodating! great house, awesome hot tub, loved the outdoor tv. absolutely appreciated being able to bring my dog & let him run around in the giant fenced in yard! can’t wait to come back!

This is my 3rd time staying here and everything is always perfect. We love that is also handicap accessible because we stay here with my father who is in a wheelchair.

Very cute cozy spot! Great location. Close to beach. We were also visiting Cape May for their winter activities and everything was 10-15 minutes away. Great for families. Loved the front porch. Had all the necessary cooking items needed. Host was very good at communication and was available for any problems/ concerns.

My family had a great stay at Alex's place. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to the dog park and boardwalk. Will definetly stay again!

We had a great winter getaway in Cape May. The location was very central and close to a lot of the attractions and the house was super clean and was fully stocked for our stay. Taylor even left us dog treats for our pup. The only thing that was upsetting was that the weather was too cold to enjoy the backyard. It was set up with cornhole, hammock, and out door seating around a fire pit. There was even a screen and projector. We have to come back when the weather is warm. Check-in/checkout was super easy with very well communicated instructions. Taylor also provided great recommendations for food and activities. Overall its was a fantastic experience and would 100% stay again next time we are in Cape May.

Cindy was very accommodating as we had to move weekends. She was responsive and friendly. Everything was good exactly as described.

We had a really nice time at the sandy retreat. We really enjoyed their backyard, we had morning coffee on the deck, dinner there as well and at night used the fire pit. Inside is beautiful decorated, and the beds are very comfortable.

The Mermaid was the perfect vacation spot. The house was even better in person! Kimberly was so extremely responsive, helpful, kind and provided great recommendations for the area. The house is walking distance to the beach. And we highly recommend Bayshore Bagel for breakfast, basically around the corner. The beds were very comfortable and the set up of the house with the deck and grill was truly perfect. We come to Cape May every year and will definitely stay here again if available. Great memories made!
