10/10 would stay here again! It is a perfect secluded getaway. Just two of us stayed, but this place can easily accommodate a family or a group of friends. Explore the tide pools, grab a beer at the local brewery, or just sit on the porch and watch the waves, the deer walking by, or the hummingbirds flying about the lupine. No matter which bedroom you choose you will wake up to the ocean views. Elizabeth was also very helpful with any clarification needed throughout our trip. Do be aware of the steep road to get in and be careful with your brakes, but man is the trek SO very worth it ✨️

Our group had a wonderful stay over New Years Eve week. The property is absolutely beautiful, cozy and very private. It was exactly what we were looking for. Matt gave us very detailed directions to find the remote property. The home was very well appointed with amenities and very comfortable beds. We loved relaxing in the the hot tub and exploring around the region. We would definitely book again. Thanks Matt!

Great stay! One of the best Airbnb we have been. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the sunroom. Close to town and hiking trails.

Definitely worth the money for the amenities, privacy and convenient location to town. I feel like all coastal homes have that wet-scent but otherwise had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay and more. The walkable paths in the back are note-worthy as well. Thank you.

We had such a great time at this Shelter Cove Airbnb. The huge deck with a fire pit was an amazing spot to unwind and enjoy the ocean views and sunset. The yard was big and perfect for our dogs to run around and although it isn’t fenced in it was still a nice place to play. The backyard off the master was fenced in and had a nice little jet tub which was great for 1 or 2 people to sit intimately together. Inside there were plenty of spots to relax and the big dining table made it easy for us to enjoy meals together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook which was really convenient. Plus the beach was just a short walk away so it was easy to enjoy the coast whenever we wanted. Overall this place had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was an amazing place to stay at! It can be hard to find the first time going, but clear instructions are provided- making things a lot easier. It was clean, quiet, and just what I was looking for.

This was our second stay at Shannah’s and it was just what we needed. We had some pretty spectacular sunsets again and some amazing walks on black sands beach. Our little pup really loved sitting out on the deck and watching the goats and chickens and the early morning deer. The sounds of the ocean and the vibes of this peaceful little cabin are so relaxing. We stayed warm and cozy with the fireplace even though it’s still a little chilly this time of year. This was our second time staying in this house. It works out great for me, my husband, and our 3 kids. So much to walk to and many more things to do within a short drive. The house itself was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. I highly recommend!

Amazing view..... And a wonderful house to match..... Perfect location, too, to explore the redwood parks.
