I have stayed in airbnb's all over the world. This was my. FAVORITE!! Beautiful inside and out.... spotless, peaceful....the hosts were SOOOOO KIND, THOUGHTFUL, HELPFUL-very very special couple. THANK YOU!!

Première fois que mon mari et moi-même logeaient dans un moulin, c'est atypique. Tout est très bien décoré intérieurement et nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Tout était super. Nous avons été recu par Sonia et Joao a été très sympathique et très réactif quand nous avons échangé des messages. Restés seulement 2 jours car nous faisons plusieurs îles (5 exactement) donc toute une organisation en 17 jours mais si je dois revenir à Graciosa je reviendrais dans le logement de Joao. Petit plus du pain frais tous les jours C'était génial. Merci à vous Joao. A bientôt Myriam et Claude

Wow. Just wow. We originally planned an Azores trip with our toddler and said we would do something “simple and easy.” Then I found this place on Airbnb and I changed our entire itinerary so we could go here. My husband and I love adventure travel and we were nervous about doing this with our 20 month old. It was so worth it!! The location is insanely beautiful, incredibly peaceful, and the stone houses are so fun!! The owners picked us up in a 4x4 quad with our bags and groceries for check in and check out. We rented a car and hiked back out to our car one day, it took us 35 min each way with a baby backpack. Hilly walk but beautiful. Good little mini workout! They brought us fresh bread every morning at 8am and we loved cooking outside and swimming in the pools. You can’t swim in the ocean here but we did walk to the lagoon in the next town (25 min walk) and swim there! This is a magical amazing place and I would recommend it highly. I was so sad to leave!!

It’s paradise. Natacha and her husband are very kind, calm and mindful. We felt welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast with a view of Mount Pico, fruits from the garden, and Natacha’s homemade banana cake was an amazing experience.

The stay was absolutely amazing! the guest house is located in a true paradise. There are no cars, not a lot of people, just nature and you. The staff is very kind and always helps when you have a question. Also, they always seem to have new ideas to improve the house and surounding. Breakfast is included, but you can also have dinner at the guest house. Or you can walk a few meters to the tavern to enjoy delicious meals all day. We really recommend this place if you just want some rest and relax. We're sad to leave.

This is a real off the beaten path place to stay. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Be prepared to come in via 4 wheeler. (An experience my kids loved)Bento was so kind and accommodating, he was very responsive via text. The warm bread delivered to our door in the morning was fabulous!! We wish we could have swam in a heated pool or used the sauna but it was winter. Thanks for a short but sweet stay!
