Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

The penthouse is a beautiful space with an exceptional view. The sunsets are legendary! Some particularly great things were the full-sized fridge, extremely comfy bed and great access to everthing in Popoya (including breaks). We had heavy rain the second week we were there and Corey was very sympathetic to our situation. I ended up working at the coworking space down the road most days the second week, which I can also highly recommend if you need reliable internet during rainy season. Manual, the man who runs the place atm, is lovely and provided great suggestions on restaraunts and even things to do on Granada!

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. A casa, por sua vez, é perfeita: excelente localização, equipada com tudo com o que você precisa (e mais um pouco) e extremamente confortável e agradável. Foi uma experiência incrível, que recomendo a todos (especialmente a quem surfa, tendo em vista as duas ondas “world class” localizadas dentro do condomínio).

Amazing place to stay a few blocks outside of the main part of the port of you want slightly more quiet but want to still be able to easily walk to everything! Loved my stay here

Claudia and James were my saving grace when I was stranded in SJDS without a place to stay during the busy Semana santa weekend. I am very grateful they were able to take me in at the last minute and took me under their wings during my short stay. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a memorable one. I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely be back to their property next time I visit SJDS. Don’t hesitate to book your stay at their place. Their property has an incredible view of the bay and it’s famous sunsets, within walking distance to everything in town but far enough away to be able to get a good night’s sleep. James also teaches surf and yoga and they are adding more amenities to their beautiful property. Muchas gracias por todo amigos!!!

The best location if you are advance, Expert surfers! Hands down🙌 the world class breaks call Colorado, Panga Drop. Also they can arrange a panga to take you to Lance's left(longest left break) for $200. This iguana community has shops, a gym also. Pay $15 for a group workout with an instructor. Pay $10 for self workout. The house was easy to find and super clean, beautiful, right on the beach and a pool. But just be careful from sand fleas during sunrise and sunset time....there are tons out there! Bring bug spray. There are so many places to eat around this house, also this house comes with full kitchen and BBQ grill, but wish had basic condiments, like olive oil, salt, pepper, paper towels, sugar etc.... We really enjoyed staying at this house. Super tranquilo😊

What an incredible place! Casa Mykonos is even bigger and more beautiful in person. Our group of 13 + 1 infant had an amazing week here. We had plenty of room to spread out and could not get enough of relaxing by the outdoor lounge areas. Each room has its own A/C and en-suite bathroom. The staff at the house was SO lovely and we had delicious meals cooked for us almost daily - their cooking was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We also felt very safe at night with Miguel and his dog on call. We came to surf and this location was a perfect central location for getting to Playa Maderas, Hermosa, and Remanso. Definitely recommend renting a vehicle to travel around easier to the beaches and into town without having to walk - the hill up to the house is steep but fun! We were able to hike up to Cristo de la Misericordia from the villa which was a good workout. We cannot wait to return to Nicaragua and stay here again!

If you are looking for a private oceanfront accommodation, I recommend this place. It is quiet, spacious, and has a comfortable atmosphere. The ocean is within walking distance, and you can use the resort's facilities, such as restaurants! If you are looking for the most beautiful beach in Nicaragua, I recommend this place.

Great house for large family or groups. Nice ocean view ( not of playa Redonda) but other bay next door. I love the restaurant in Aqua Resort its a huge plus!! Make sure generator is working because of random power outages !!

Beautiful home with extremely easy access to beautiful beaches, restaurants and bars. Everything was clean and modern and our family really enjoyed our stay here !

We had a great time with our big family group of 13. We were a bit worried due to the USA releasing a travel advisory to Nicaragua level 3 but we felt safe the whole time. The house staff Allan and Leticia were fantastic. They grocery shopped for us and cooked us delicious meals. The restaurants at the beech were also delicious and would deliver food to the house. My one complaint is the view at the house isn’t as pictured. There is new construction adjacent that is blocking the majority of the cove view from the house and noisy construction with a whole crew of workers eye-level to the house Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Aside from that, everything was as described and we had a great time. One member in our party is disabled and in a manual wheelchair. There is a large flight of stairs to get to the house and the house is on a very steep hill. The path to the beech is on rough terrain. We made it down once, but spent the rest of the time at the house. The pool is very cold.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning beach property in Masachapa/Montelimar. The home is beautifully decorated with elegant coastal touches throughout. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making for restful nights after long days of sun by the pool and the beach. The highlight was definitely the fantastic pool area, where our family spent countless hours swimming and relaxing. The layout was perfect for our group, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. We created wonderful memories here and would absolutely book this gem again. A perfect 5-star experience!

J ai adoré mon séjour l endroit est formidable. Le balcon donne une très belle vue sur l océan et les coucher de soleil sont a couper le souffle. Le spot est parfait pour aller surfer et profiter pleinement de la plage et la piscine. Pour se rendre au village il est préférable de se louer une petite bicyclette, moto ou kart de golf ! Il est certain que j y retourne l année prochaine!

We had an amazing stay! The place was stunning, with breathtaking views and a fantastic pool. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us organize everything we needed. The place was spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway!

Hacienda Iguana fue un lugar tranquilo , bien cuidado , muy protegido y privado ..con ciertas comodidades y servicios que permitían abastecerse de cosas esenciales . Aunque recomendamos comprar todo en Rivas antes de llegar , ya que dentro de la hacienda todo es muy caro . La playa muy tranquila , buena para caminar , disfrutar del mar y sus olas suaves y del surf para todos los niveles . Recomendamos caminar más allá de las rocas por ambos extremos de la playa Iguana . El apartamento de Roberta es lindo , practico , muy cuidado y con una ubicación privilegiada con vista al mar . Roberta atenta y amable respondió a todas nuestras preguntas y dudas siempre . Después de haber recorrido Nicaragua fue un buen destino para finalizar nuestro viaje .

The apartment is amazing. It feels like home, the view is nice. Everything works and the fact that you are able to flush toiletpaper is a huge bonus. Everything in the apartment feels like luxury. Please keep in mind that it’s like a 15-20 min walk to where the restaurants and bars are. Would definitely recommend the place.

Amazing location right on the sand. Communication was crystal clear. The hosts were very accommodating . I felt extremely safe. Hacienda Iguana is a lovely community and I can't wait to return! Thank you NSR!

Great place right on the beach with an incredible surf spot steps away

Billie and Lee were excellent and accommodating hosts. The property is beautiful and immersed in nature. There is a clean and quiet beach that is walkable in 2 minutes as well as many more a short drive away. This stay was the highlight of our trip through Central America and we would definitely return.
