Jay and Claudia treated me like family and brought me around town, took me to the beaches and introduced me to friends. Felt right at home.

The penthouse is a beautiful space with an exceptional view. The sunsets are legendary! Some particularly great things were the full-sized fridge, extremely comfy bed and great access to everthing in Popoya (including breaks). We had heavy rain the second week we were there and Corey was very sympathetic to our situation. I ended up working at the coworking space down the road most days the second week, which I can also highly recommend if you need reliable internet during rainy season. Manual, the man who runs the place atm, is lovely and provided great suggestions on restaraunts and even things to do on Granada!

Julio’s place is as pictured. Relaxing lakefront property where you can hear and see nature at it best, sounds and sights of howler monkey and myriad of local birds. Luis and his family , on siteanager, did oustanding job of making sure our stay was perfect.

We’ve spent 2,5 month in Nicaragua and Alexandra’s Casa was the best place we’ve been to. The flat is beautiful designed and the huge terrace is the best spot to watch sunsets. We had some issues with electricity outages because of street works and Alexandra helped us all along the way. Checkin via lock box was easy and Martha the housekeeper brought us frag towels and kept care of our laundry as often as we asked for which was absolutely great service. Even though it is a little hike up the hill from the best beach of the area, it’s definitely worth it! For daily needs we recommend not only the nearby mini market but also the machete market, which has some specials we couldn’t find anywhere else.

Beautiful Place to stay with an Incredible view. I love that it’s a Gated Building with security at the entrance. Feel in love with the Dogs Guarding the area!

Freek was an amazing host. He helped us understand the surf breaks, helped tell us where to rent vehicles, and also helped with restaurants. He was great. The staff in the Amahula resort were awesome too! This house is beautiful and the pool makes the trip 10x better. There is amazing privacy inside and outside of this house. With a nice living space inside as well as a great patio and pool outside…and outdoor showers. And right next to it you can go to the bar to hang out! Right out front is the beach. Amazing surf breaks within walking distance. Nothing short of awesome, we hope to be back!

The home and location were perfect. Agata was able to help with all of our questions and requests. She was super friendly and helpful. We felt so welcomed and right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

Vivre chez Uri, c’est avoir l’impression de vivre en famille. Une chance unique de partager sa cours intérieure avec lui et une autre cabanas de visiteurs à côté. On se sent chez soi, et Uri est très disponible pour nous. Pour moi, le wifi était essentiel, comme j’ai fait du télétravail. Ça fonctionnait généralement super bien. Advenant une panne électrique, c’était facile de se rendre rapidement dans un restaurant tout près, qui avait une génératrice pour pouvoir travailler. Mais les pannes sont rares, ou sinon l’instant de quelques secondes. Donc rien dérangeant. Le lieu est à proximité des restaurants, épiceries, plages, tout se fait à pieds. Il est possible, à proximité, de se louer une moto, si vous voulez visiter les environs. Le camion qui vend des fruits, légumes et œufs, passe à tous les jours. J’avais même le pêcheur de langoustes qui passait me vendre ses prises du jour! Un endroit magnifique, si vous souhaitez être tranquille.

What an absolutely stunning location. Literally nothing negative to say. Beautiful, peaceful, and Wilmer the caretaker was incredibly friendly, responsive, and welcoming. If you can only stay at one place in Nica, stay here!

Villa Urraca absolutely surpassed our family's expectations. Spending time there was one of the highlights of our vacation in Nicaragua. We especially appreciated the beachfront view, and the short walk to the beach, as well as the proximity to the restaurant and activities like the turtle release and horseback riding. Jon and his team were excellent hosts—very responsive and attentive. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Villa Urraca!

The best location if you are advance, Expert surfers! Hands down🙌 the world class breaks call Colorado, Panga Drop. Also they can arrange a panga to take you to Lance's left(longest left break) for $200. This iguana community has shops, a gym also. Pay $15 for a group workout with an instructor. Pay $10 for self workout. The house was easy to find and super clean, beautiful, right on the beach and a pool. But just be careful from sand fleas during sunrise and sunset time....there are tons out there! Bring bug spray. There are so many places to eat around this house, also this house comes with full kitchen and BBQ grill, but wish had basic condiments, like olive oil, salt, pepper, paper towels, sugar etc.... We really enjoyed staying at this house. Super tranquilo😊

J ai adoré mon séjour l endroit est formidable. Le balcon donne une très belle vue sur l océan et les coucher de soleil sont a couper le souffle. Le spot est parfait pour aller surfer et profiter pleinement de la plage et la piscine. Pour se rendre au village il est préférable de se louer une petite bicyclette, moto ou kart de golf ! Il est certain que j y retourne l année prochaine!

Highly recommended, great location. Strong AC, Cable TV, and hot water. The building has a generator if the power goes out. Cheap laundry service available too.

Hacienda Iguana fue un lugar tranquilo , bien cuidado , muy protegido y privado ..con ciertas comodidades y servicios que permitían abastecerse de cosas esenciales . Aunque recomendamos comprar todo en Rivas antes de llegar , ya que dentro de la hacienda todo es muy caro . La playa muy tranquila , buena para caminar , disfrutar del mar y sus olas suaves y del surf para todos los niveles . Recomendamos caminar más allá de las rocas por ambos extremos de la playa Iguana . El apartamento de Roberta es lindo , practico , muy cuidado y con una ubicación privilegiada con vista al mar . Roberta atenta y amable respondió a todas nuestras preguntas y dudas siempre . Después de haber recorrido Nicaragua fue un buen destino para finalizar nuestro viaje .

We loved this location. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. They cleaned the condo every couple days and made sure we had fresh towels on our 2 week stay. This spot is a little more expensive than most others, but the location is hard to beat. Walking distance to club house, playa colorado and restaurants

Everything about this stay was perfect. Tom is an amazing host. If we could, we would have given this stay a 6/5 rating. Above and beyond all around. Definitely check this place out! We will be coming back as soon and often as we can.

Billie and Lee were excellent and accommodating hosts. The property is beautiful and immersed in nature. There is a clean and quiet beach that is walkable in 2 minutes as well as many more a short drive away. This stay was the highlight of our trip through Central America and we would definitely return.
