Just come back from a two night stay in the Haybarn. It was very relaxing and comfortable and warm. Pippa was very communicative and responded to questions very quickly. Check-in was extremely easy and the location directions very easy to find. There was everything you needed in the property with some little added extras ie milk tea coffee sugar shampoo and things like that. Having the pool right next door to the living room was amazing although heated it was still a tad cold but you can’t please everyone not a complaint but personal choice. The bed was extremely comfortable and bed linen of a high standard. You would need to drive to local shops for provisions as too far to walk.

My friends and I were blown away with this house! The pictures don’t even provide it justice. A stunning home in a lovely area. We ventured into Thornbury which is close by and offers lots of bars and shops. Garden centre a few mins walk away served a decent breakfast at a good price. Everything we could have needed was easily accessible in the house. A great social space with excellent hosts. Couldn’t recommend enough ☺️

This house was absolutely perfect for our large group of women. It had everything we needed and wanted and it was even better than the pictures. Rob was very helpful and responsive and it all worked very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed for two nights and felt relaxed and calm. From star gazing to playing garden croquet, we filled our time. The pool was great but be warned it’s cold! Once you’re in you are fine but it takes a few minutes to get submerged. What was really thoughtful, and much appreciated, was the home-made scones on arrival. Maureen and William were very sociable and very kind. We would love to visit again.

Quirky and Unusual but comfortable and easy to live in. Really peaceful for a city house. Downstairs is great, upstairs is cramped but livable and ok for sleeping. Situation is unique and when you arrive, although you have great instructions, you feel you must be doing something wrong - just believe the instructions!! We got taxis around town which was easy and quite economical for 4 people

We had an a amazing stay. The home was so comfortable. I was visiting with 7 friends so they set all the room as single beds which was perfect for us. The pool was so nice and we enjoyed an evening swim while watching movies on the projector. The area is so peaceful and there are some lovely pubs nearby such as the litton. I would love to visit again!

We stayed at Emma's house for a family weekend, it was perfect. The kids loved the pool, the tennis court was really fun, the house was spacious and beautiful. Emma was really helpful. the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fabulous. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend.

It was a pleasure to stay there and we will come back next year for sure . The place is cleaning and relaxing Thank you so much

Everything was brilliant

Exceptional. My favorite stay to date. From the moment I arrived, Janet and Mike were warm and welcoming. From conversation, to showing me around and recommending local spots to visit, nothing was too much. The cottage is absolutely wonderful and full to the brim with character, the views are breath-taking, and the local wildlife is an absolute treat to experience. I could have easily spent many more hours just sat outside, soaking it all in. In terms of practicalities and anemities; the kitchen is well equipped, bathroom functional and the bedrooms are cosy and comfortable. All rooms have additions that really make your stay a welcome and easy one. I really felt at home and relaxed here, it was genuinely soul - restoring, and I hope to come back in future. Janet and Mike - thank you again for your hospitality, and for sharing this absolute treasure with the world. Ive already recommeded this gem to others.

Fantastic place to stay, all the rooms were very comfy. The kitchen was fully kitted out for large parties and it was right in the middle of all the town. Highly recommended.

Came up with some friends for Women's 6 Nations match at Principality Stadium. Julie was flexible with arrival time so we dropped bags and the car at midday and took the bus into the city centre. Got a taxi back after the match and a night out in Cardiff, location was perfect. House was clean and spacious. Julie had left milk and a few bits of food which was a lovely touch. We all enjoyed the Welsh cakes with our breakfast. I thought the price was very reasonable for what was included. Thank you for helping to make a really enjoyable weekend in Cardiff.

Needed a place to stay for our group of friends to watch the rugby, Danny's place was just what we needed, room for us all, & within walking distance, weather permitting, of millennium stadium, large taxis cheap enough, if not. Like staying at a mate's house but your mate's not there 🤣 Great pub about 10 minutes away, The Lansdowne. Easy check in & out. Danny was very responsive to all our needs.

Fantastic house right next to the Principality Stadium. Great for large groups (we had 22). It is an enormous building full of character and has everything you need for a great stay (including a sauna that fits 4 people easily). Our host Matt was very good and Nigel who looks after the house is a great guy. Would recommend for anyone visiting Cardiff with a large group. A stay that everyone will remember for a long time.

Ideal for a few relaxed nights in South Wales. The place was a taste of luxury whilst feeling very cosy and comfortable. Good distance to access Cardiff, Swansea and the coast. Cowbridge as a place impressed us with plenty of amenities, nice vibe and a good sports centre.

Absolutely beautiful place, and really friendly hosts! The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked (there was even an air fryer). We especially loved the living room - the sofa and chairs were great to lounge on. The location is great for being less than an hour to get to Pen y fan, Brecon, Cardiff, and the vegan steakhouse we initially planned our trip around. Just 2 things to be aware of, make sure to pack warm night clothes outside of summer as it gets quite cold at night (as older houses tend to do, I can imagine it'll be lovely and cool in the summer though!). Also the track to the house is very bumpy, so don't bring a low car! I would absolutely recommend this place, and hope to stay again!

Jacky's house is absolutely perfect as a base to explore Cardiff. Just a short car ride away from the city centre, the house is incredibly spacious with all the amenities you could need. All the bedrooms are more then big enough and very comfortable. Could not recommend it highly enough

Will stay again next time that I’m in Cardiff

This is my second time staying with Sarah, she is an amazing host and the property is everything you could want. It is literally home away from home. The cleanliness is outstanding, and the home has everything you need for a short stay. It is close to local amenities and lots of places within a short drive that would suit couples/families or solo travellers. The house is in a residential area and there is lots of parking available. I cannot recommend the property enough, I will definitely stay again.
