A great few days spent here. It’s a stunning location, with great views and some lovely walks. The pods were great, got toasty warm and overlooked the reservoir. Felicity was a great host, responsive, communicative and helpful, even when we had a problem her response was very prompt and kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Far From site.

Had fantastic stay at the lodge, which is very much on the lake! We enjoyed amazing views both during the day, and at night watching the stars. We had a lovely day out at Cefn Mably farm, very short walk from the lodge. A great Birthday weekend!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, the place was spotless and well equipped. Beautiful views and lovely locals walks. Cosy local pub just a short walk away. Would 100% recommend for a quiet getaway! Thanks again Owen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Only stayed for a long weekend but we are already planning our next visit! Gorgeous views, hot tub was extremely relaxing and having breakfast and a cuppa on the decking in the morning was amazing. Local pub recommendations were fantastic. Absolutely loved this little cabin! We will definitely be back in the future. It was the perfect little getaway for my partner and I, loved that it had a hot tub 😍 Kate was so helpful and kind, I honestly can't fault anything! Would definitely recommend, beautiful views from the rooftop as well.

Beautiful cosy treehouse, Craig & Victoria have thought of everything to make this a perfect stay! We loved the hot tub, the comfy bed & the log fire & the alpacas!! We had a lovely stay in this little shepherds hut, enjoying the beautiful views and lounging in the hot tub. Was a perfect weekend away from the city. The host communicated very efficiently and was very friendly. Perfect little getaway! Looking forward to returning again.

We booked last minute, the morning of our stay. Diane was very responsive and when we turned up the lodge was immaculate despite a short notice. The scenery and location was beautiful and very relaxing. We brought along our dog and gated patch in front was reassuring that he would be safe whilst we stayed. Would stay again x

Wow wow wow! We had such a wonderful time at The Roost, and we can’t wait to visit again! Kath has done an amazing job making her place warm (even in FREEZING weather), cosy, and welcoming, there were so many thoughtful little touches that surprised us that it will be difficult to mention them all! We stayed at The Roost for a short Valentine’s break, and I wanted something different to surprise my boyfriend with. Everything was of exceptional quality, including super warm and cosy bedding, sparkling clean shower rooms, a very cool kitchen area with board games provided, environmentally friendly toilet roll and cleaning products, and also a great set-up for bikes, with bike racks inside the cabins and a bike wash area. A personal highlight was the mouthwatering homemade Welsh cakes left for us in our cabin, these were delicious and I could definitely have over-indulged! Kath was incredibly accommodating to us when the weather forecast had predicted a very bad storm, reaching out to check if we needed to postpone our trip, and then allowing us to do this at no extra cost. All in all, we had a superb time and can’t wait to visit again (hopefully when the weather is warmer!)

Tanya was lovely to communicate with. Everything was wonderfully clean and tidy on arrival, Tanya even put on the lights and heating for us as we were arriving later in the evening - very thoughtful. We were really happy with our stay and will definitely be visiting again. We live locally and you don't feel remotely near home when you stay at Tanya's place. Perfect for us! We highly recommend.

My second visit to this modern and spacious cabin in a beautiful peaceful location. The cabin was spotlessly clean and equip with everything I needed for my short breaks with my dog. Vendy was helpful and responsive but also respected our privacy. No hesitation to return in the future

Such a beautiful lodge. Views are immense. Very comfortable lodge with fantastic facilities. Michael was very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a getaway somewhere idyllic then Grove Lodge is the place for you. I highly recommend a trick to Cheddar Gorge, only a 10 minute drive. A peaceful, relaxing setting that i would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you so much for an amazing stay in your stunning lodge.

It was amazing! Really private and peaceful, beautifully decorated and spacious and a great way to just take a break. You wake up to amazing views - I think in summer it would be spectacular and I'd love to go back and see the sunsets some of the reviews talk about! The balcony is such a lovely space and it was so nice to sit out there in the morning with a cup of tea. We took our baby and the cot set up was great! The little toy box was a really nice touch too. The only thing I'd say is if you're going on a wet and windy day make sure you take your walking boots as the paths to the towns/ pubs are extremely muddy. If you have a baby, take an all terrain pram or carrier. Tip - We also took extra towels for our dogs as the weather forecast wasn't great and I think that's definitely a necessity as they came in handy and we'd of come unstuck without them.

Had a lovely weekend here. Nice and close to the city centre. And somewhere quite after a long day. The elecrtic fire made it cosy and the electric blankets were a smart move to warm the beds up. The hot chocolate was delicious.

Fantastic little cabin! The log fire was on when we arrived, so cosy and warm! It had everything we needed, perfect space for cooking and relaxing. Easy to find and park. Comfortable, clean and homely.

This is a beautiful barn conversion tastefully renovated. Log burner is brilliant and kept me toasty on the cold February evenings. Kitchen facilities perfectly adequate for cooking from scratch if required. Bed comfy as is the sofa in sitting area. Lots of local books and maps of walks etc. Llantwit beach and cliffs are gorgeous. I thoroughly recommend Froglands for a peaceful stay away from the stresses of life.
