Alan’s accommodation was very clean, comfortable and warm and in a very pleasant quiet neighbourhood. He was very quick to respond to my email and everything was exactly as he said it would be, the access was well explained and easy to find and use. We would use this accommodation again and would recommend it to others too.

We stayed at Susan’s place to give us easy access to Mountain Bike Wales - it was a 10 min drive and a great place to collapse cook clean up and relax after a days riding ! Thanks Susan will look to book in next time we are up 🙏

Ros communicated with us straight awat with a very thourough description of how to get to her place. She included bus details, which was very helpful although we didn't need to make use of it. Very kindly and generously there were some breakfast items available as were milk, butter, coffee and tea. It was a delightful complete apartment with its own lovely little garden, we had a great time!

Sara was welcoming , friendly and helpful. Great communication. The parking spot in front of Sara's garage was helpful. Accommodation matched what was listed on site, which was clean and equiped well. Sara added little treats which was thoughtful. The train station was about a 15 mins walk away which was really handy and hassle free for our needs to travel into Cardiff. Highly recommend. Thank you Sara.

Fabulous accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Spotlessly clean and spacious, bed very comfortable. Great communication with clear instructions. Perfect base for us to visit family and hope to stay again. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this area.

We got lost about 100 yards from Barbara's house (Google Maps sat nav took us to the wrong address!), so we rang Barbara. She answered straightaway and, over the phone, she talked us through the last bit of the journey, and there she was, waiting for us outside the house! We loved the house, and felt home from home. We were only there overnight in order to visit our brother, and it was just what we needed. Barbara had left out for us some lovely Welsh Cakes, and there was milk in the fridge, both of which were very welcome. Barbara is very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely consider staying again.

Gaynor and Glenn were very welcoming and helpful. The cabin was large, had everything you needed and clean. Would visit again.

Thank you for a lovely stay. We had a couple of hiking trips and a day out in Cardiff and it was the perfect location for all of these. Nicely decorated, felt homely and would happily stay again.

We had an amazing stay. The place was absolutely sparkling clean. Lesley was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We have family that live in the village & have driven past Llanharan House numerous times. It’s not often you get to actually stay in such a notable building. It really was like stepping into a past century. The accommodation is absolutely steeped in history & you can just imagine the servants going about their daily tasks for a busy household. Even though the building is so old it has modern amenities & Nic has kitted it out sympathetically to 21st living while still maintaining the character of the property. The kids had an absolute blast “ghost hunting” around the very spacious living quarters. Kept them amused for hours. Although this venue was more on the expensive side compared to some others locally it is worth every penny & we would return in a heartbeat. Just one tip - if like me, you suffer from cold feet. Take some slippers as the original flooring (kitchen & halls) can be a tad chilly underfoot.

Mac and Jan’s place is more than the pictures it’s truly a fantastic guest suite, done to a really high standard you feel right at home. Mac and Jan provide a great welcome, but privacy to enjoy their place, it’s a great location to explore from but a joy to come back to, comfortable and well equip, would recommend!

Adam was very helpful at checkin we got ourselves a little turned around in town and he waited for us in the car park to show us into his place.

Jill was incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with everything we needed and more. The homemade freshly baked bread was delicious and a lovely touch. The space was very clean and cosy and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful.

First time for us at Pete’s place but it definitely won’t be the last! It’s a perfect base for Bikepark wales, you can easily ride there and avoid the faff of parking (means you can have a beer or two in the cafe afterward too). The accommodation is simple but has everything you could want including a very secure bike lockup, nice big shower and tv for chilling out in the evening. Pete is a great host, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He provided breakfast and we were able to order in pizza to the pub which we ate in front of the log burner. Spot on! Thanks Pete, see you again soon!

Brian is a very friendly guy and made us feel right at home. He stayed up late to greet us on check in which was much appreciated. His place was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable and 15mins walk from the train station to Cardiff Central. would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Loula's apartment. She got in touch with us ahead of the time to give clear instructions, and the apartment was easy to find and very welcoming. It was a perfect base for our weekend in Wales, a very easy walk into Abergavenny (which we explored on our first day), and within driving distance of Cardiff (where we spent our second day). We used the kitchen to cook up some lovely meals from local produce we picked up in Abergavenny, and found everything we needed there. We would happily return in the future.

Our stay with Helen was perfect. The room was exactly what we needed and communication was great. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Loved staying in Sanjida and Jaimie's place, such welcoming hosts! Loved the welcome box, and their kindness during our stay. The place is right in nature, which is perfect for some quite time in the countryside. Connected to the main house, but so private and peaceful. It was perfect! Highly recommend, the swan inn pub down the road (more of a gastro pub), it was brilliant for breakfast and dinner!
