What a great experience! Joanne and Eli's place is perfect for a climbing trip. They were super friendly and Eli has tonnes of knowledge about all the nearby climbing, especially Flying Coconut which is on their farm 2 minutes drive up the road (and has amazing routes). The apartment is a really nice space to hang out, has a good kitchen, and felt private. Note that there is no AC, but we found the temperature comfortable with the fans. There is a little bit of noise from the road but generally very peaceful after dark. There was also the cutest little cat that would hang out with us on the patio in the evenings. We loved our stay, and wish we could have stayed longer.

A beautiful home in a breathtaking setting. The views in every direction were stunning, there were so many birds around in the garden in the morning, it was wonderful to wake up to. The house was really well outfitted, very clean, spacious and relaxing. The location was ideal for visiting family and friends in the area. We would love to return again one day.

geweldige plek. Hoewel het huis niet heel sfeervol is, is het toch een fijne plek. het is zeer ruim, fijn zwembadje, leuke tuin vol leguanen en de omgeving is prachtig. fietsverhuur, winkeltje, paarden op terrein. valladolid op 5 minuten rijden. perfect voor ons jonge gezin. fijne tijd gehad.

Unsere 4 Nächte bei Irene waren absolut großartig. Es war die beste Unterkunft in der wir auf unserer Costa Rica Reise waren. Die ganze Atmosphäre des Hauses und der Umgebung, tut der Seele gut ❤️ Ich habe so gut geschlafen wie sonst nirgendwo, die Geräusche des Dschungels und des Teiches vorm Haus sind unvergleichlich schön und die Betten super bequem. Unsere beiden Töchter, 1 und 5, haben sich ebenso richtig wohl gefühlt. Wir haben täglich Tiere gefüttert, mal Tortillas gemacht und wir durften mal Kaffee ernten. Das Ehepaar vor Ort ist sehr lieb und familiär. Wir haben Frühstück und Abendessen dazu gebucht: super leckere costaricanische Hausmannskost. Absolut empfehlenswert!!! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in dieser traumhaften Oase ❤️

An incredibly special home and experience. Brad and Nikki are the best hosts we've ever had. On our last night our 4yo said "I wish we could stay here for infinity" - we all felt the same.

Absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and serenity of the property. Nestled in a natural setting, it offered the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. We loved watching the horses in the field behind us, and the sound of nature from the trees surrounding the property. The space indoors and out was in immaculate shape, with every corner thoughtfully maintained. The hosts clearly take great pride in keeping the space pristine, and it made our stay so much more enjoyable and relaxing. What really stood out, was Isabelle's and her team's communication. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless—from providing local recommendations to ensuring we had everything we needed before we even thought to ask.

Our stay at the Ranch Villa was absolutely incredible. Panoramic views of Lake Arenal with a perfect view of Volcàn Arenal on the backside of the property. The description of the property is very accurate and you will need 4 x 4 to get to the Villa. The Villa is well-appointed with everything you need. Make sure you bring all the food you require for your stay if you don’t plan to leave. The Caretaker, Hilario, took us on a horseback ride and it was magnificent - stunning views all around. There is a small Soda about 4 km down the road called Kavi Bar - definitely stop in and grab lunch and ice cream. Super friendly and the food was delicious! If you’re feeling adventurous, there are several waterfalls you can check out (we went to Viento Fresco and loved it - especially Arco Iris 🌈 ). You are about a two-hour drive from Volcàn Arenal/La Fortuna and about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Monteverde. It is one of the best places we have stayed at in all our travels and we will be back!

This is the second year in a row that we stay here because we love it so much. The whole family gets together, and it is the perfect place to spend family time. The location is also perfect for day trips. It has everything you may need!

If you’re a nature lover who wants an authentic PR experience, this is your place! We had amazing experiences at Keith & Duyen’s place, despite the sad reason for our trip. They were excellent hosts who consistently went far beyond what one expects. As an example, we were stranded multiple times, and each time Keith was there to help! The space is beautiful and soothing while providing for all the amenities of home, and then some. The farm is a wonderland of fruit trees, including guava that were decimated by Hurricane Maria, leaving few on the islands. You will be surrounded by tropical ornamentals, thick bamboo trees, sugar cane, palms, many tropical fruit trees, and plantains. There’s also a koi pound not far from “the dome”, which draws beautiful herrings to the property. It’s worth waking up early to watch the sunrise over the mountain with your drink of choice. We highly recommend Keith and Duyen’s tropical oasis. What they’ve created is not to be missed!

El lugar es hermoso, la paz que se siente, la cabaña es como las fotos, todo es maravilloso. Son muy amables y todo fue increíble, y hablando de increíble, ese mega desayuno que tienen disponible como opción adicional, una maravilla, riquísimo y mucha cantidad, valió la pena cada colón, volveríamos por supuesto!😍

Gilberto was a great host. He was very helpful and responsive to make sure we felt right at home. He offered numerous activities to partake in throughout his property including a cow milking session early in the morning on the family farm, just below the rental. His sister Grettel welcomed us for this and showed us how their cow milking operation worked. They also had all sorts of wildlife in the area. The views were breathtaking. I would recommend this place to anyone. Would absolutely stay again!!!

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft in der Nähe von La Fortuna. Toller kleiner Park, der Pool hat unserem Sohn besonders gut gefallen. Leonardo haben wir leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt, aber der Check in war durch die Beschreibung sehr einfach und der Rest selbsterklärend. Wir würden gern wieder hier übernachten.

Si vous souhaitez un logement au calme dans un endroit magnifique avec tout le confort nécessaire n’hésitez pas. Tout est conforme à la description, logement propre, beau, accueillant, équipé avec une vue juste splendide. Luis est un hôte très réactif, amical et soucieux de bien recevoir. Il vous donnera de nombreux conseils et de bonnes adresses pour vous aiguiller.

Was für ein magischer Ort! Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit Liebe (für's Detail) gepflegt, sehr sauber. Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass es sich um ein Herzensprojekt handelt! Das Haus ist superpraktisch eingerichtet, mit Allem was man braucht (inkl. auch in der Küche), wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung und Landschaft sind einmalig. Swin ist sehr gut erreichbar und nimmt sich Zeit, alle möglichen Fragen zu beantworten sowie auch, um Tips zu erteilen. Swin & Familie sind sehr hilfsbereit. Bereichernder und sehr wohlwollender Austausch. Wir sind eine Woche geblieben und jeder Tag davon hat sich gelohnt! Danke euch von Herzen für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

Un lugar muy tranquilo rodeado de hermosa naturaleza, cerca de atracciones como la Laguna de Manuel, Dota Park, centro de Santa Maria de Dota. La casa amplia y bonita acorde con la zona. Gsutavo excelente anfitrión siempre amable y brindando información oportuna y clara.

La vue était magnifique ainsi que l'espace extérieure. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir avec nos amis et nos 6 enfants! La maison est propre et la piscine est un beau must! Oscar a bien envoyé les instructions les jours précédents, mais difficile à rejoindre avant cela. Par contre, il nous a bien accueilli et a été super gentil!

Our stay at the coconut farm was a dream! The farm itself is beautiful and nice to walk around. Bacchus was so friendly, showed us around and even provided some groceries for us to enjoy. Michelle, the co-host, gave many great recommendations for us. We really enjoyed using the kitchen, grill, and eating on both the lower and upper decks in the island breeze. Cockleshell beach is just a 2 minute walk and was one of our favorite beaches! We only stayed a few days before heading over to Nevis but honestly wished we stayed longer!

L’endroit est un peu isolé, ce qui est parfait pour le repos après une journée de voyage. Nous avons eu un spectacle privé d’aras rouges au petit matin directement du balcon. Le logement était impeccable, et l’ambiance très agréable pour les soupers sur la terrasse! Tout simplement magnifique!

Wonderful location, with stunning views. All the amenities we needed. It would have been really great to have had more information on the local area - especially the Coffee experiences in Acquarias, and also more information about restaurants near by !

We loved our stay at Marta's. The views were amazing and the surroundings were peaceful. I wish we had more time to relax while there and I could see us going back in the future for some quiet R&R. The location was near all the local hotspots and we used it as our base for trips to Vieques & Farajado.
