Nice place to stay if you like to enjoy the sound of the beach, if you want access in less than 2 seconds to a nice beach, this place is super nice to stay.🌊🌊🌊

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable en famille à Casa Libelula. La maison est à un emplacement idéal, offrant calme, sécurité et confort, tout en étant à proximité du centre. les couchés de soleil depuis la terrasse, sont fantastiques. les parties de pêche à bord des kayaks nous ont permis une expérience exceptionnelle chaque matin, des le levé du soleil. je n imagine pas revenir à Holbox sans faire un séjour dans cette villa. l equipe, avec Sony et René a été d une réactivité et d un professionnalisme exceptionnel.

we loved our stay private and gorgeous sunset views. Quiet location but walkable to many restaurants beaches etc. well equipped to stay in for meals if you choose. we loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

This place was amazing and just as described. The location can’t be beat, walkable to town but a quiet area great for relaxing.

Sam was a great host and super responsive. The air mattress didn’t work but Sam was right there with an extra. The location is so beautiful and close to a lot of great restaurants and a grocery store (next to the gas station). We can’t wait to come back!

Very nice . Everything was in perfect order. All are needs were met. Top notch bedding and towels, Dishes and pans. Appliances are new and in good condition. Nice ocean view and beach. Beach could of been a little cleaner but not bad. Restaurant and bar just down the beach. We're more than satisfied. Don

We are very happy with our stay here. The Maya Beach area is great. We ate at Mangoes more than once and Maya Beach Bistro, both were amazing. There is a grocery store and beach in walking distance. Kayaking the lagoon and channels was super fun. The house is so roomy with so many places to relax. The temps were easy to tolerate with the fans and breeze in the watch tower. We ate at home a lot and used the kitchen and fridge. The local fruit is so yummy. It was just the two of us but it would be a comfortable place for more. We rented a golf cart to get around. Have fun!

We had an issue with our initial Airbnb, this one was highly recommended to us and within 15 - 20 min of reaching out to Stuart he made arrangements and we had instructions for his beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our 4th trip to the island and every place we have stayed has something that stands out, this one had many! Location, beautiful surroundings, and beachfront! I could not get enough of listening to the crashing waves. Thank you to Stuart who played such a big part in our memorable vacation.

Arno was a great host. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was useful to have some basics such as, salt, pepper and oil. The grounds were spectacular with wonderful views. We saw pelicans and humming birds within minutes of arriving. Long Bay Beach is walking distance and nice for a swim. Other attractions and shopping do require a car. We took advantage of the boat trips Arno offers. They were brilliant days out. He considered what we were interested in seeing and doing so tailored the trips to our desire. The location was incredible but I wish I had been aware of the extent of the mosquitos. Arno has as much as possible in place to make it ok, eg. mosquito net, etc. We needed to cover up at dawn and dusk to try to prevent being bitten. Overall we loved the sense of peace and privacy. Arno was always contactable for anything we needed. It was a beautiful place to stay.

Great house. The outdoor space was what brought us to this house and it did not disappoint. Other than sleeping at night, the majority of the time spent at the house was spent outside. Would definitely recommend.

Marissa was a great host. She took care of all our needs and more! She helped us with a lagoon boat tour, private taxi to/from Cancun, restaurant recommendations, and more! We had a great time and would highly recommend this place (and Marissa as host) to anyone to expereince a wonderful stay in Bacalar!

Superbe logement ! Nous avons adoré Isla Carenero. C’était vraiment génial d’avoir accès au kayak, nous avons pu faire une magnifique excursion d’une journée autour de l’île avec nos enfants. L’appartement était très confortable et bien équipé. Steeve a été un hôte exceptionnel. L’emplacement est vraiment unique et fait rêver ! 🤩

It was a privilege to stay in such a stunning location. Fantastic views from our balcony out over the yachts moored in the bay. The highlight has to be the wooden dock jutting out from the mangrove trees. We swam every morning in calm water and again in the afternoon followed by a sunset gin and tonic. We took the big kayak out one day and paddled over to Hog Island, saw turtles. The apartment was very well equipped and really comfortable. We were met by Shania and shown where to park and how everything worked. So friendly. Lovely memories that we will cherish, thank you Robert.

Everything was great, but I'm glad we had a 4x4 because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get to the house. The space was beautiful, the hosts were great, and Don Tomas y Doña Naty were very attentive to every possible need. Absolutely amazing experience.

We really enjoyed this beautiful place. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings, drinking our coffee and watching the birds. This house is very clean, has a nice little kitchen to cook dinner, and a comfortable couch. The delicious banana bread and fruit was a very nice touch. We would go back here in a heartbeat if we have the opportunity . The host is very friendly.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our trip to La Fortuna. The space is private, relaxing, and peaceful. It is about a 5 minute walk to the main square, where you can find restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day, but it does take a little while to heat up. An added surprise was that the location was close enough that some of our tour guides were able to pick us up close to the property! Would recommend this place!

Just a magical place! No, these are not "fancy" accommodations, but they are not meant to be. The cabin is intended to blend with the surroundings. You feel as if you are in the jungle yet steps away from the pristine Caribbean waters. Beds were comfortable and all amenities needed were available. If you enjoy nature, strolling and exploring beautiful landscapes, and combing the private shorelines for shells and other treasures, this place is for you.

This place is great. You're in the middle of the jungle, quite literally, so please please please make sure you read the description and understand where you're going so you set your expectations accordingly. For me, it was great because I was fully aware of what I was expecting and the place was incredible. Also, please note that you need a 4x4 to get there. The folks who received it us were so nice and kind, really appreciated the stay.
