This is One of the best places I have ever stayed. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Close tl everything but very quiet at nights. Direct connection with nature. A lot of birds to see. Location is amazing. Roy give us very good recommendations. This is the place to stay in La Fortuna. Hope to came back!

Eine der besseren Unterkünfte während meines dreiwöchigen Aufenthalts in Costa Rica. Ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums La Fortuna. Parkplätze stehen im Hof ​​zur Verfügung. Die Stadt ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe gibt es ein lokales Restaurant (Tiquicia - La Fortuna), in dem das Essen ausgezeichnet und die Preise erschwinglich sind. Rustic cabins ist ein wunderschönes Haus und drinnen ist alles vorhanden was ein Haushalt benötigt und so gar ein Jacuzzi Whirlpool. Ich habe diesen benutzt und hatte eine tolle Aussicht auf die Natur, da sich auf die Terrasse befindet. Das Bett war sehr bequem, so wie Kissen. David war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein grosses Kompliment für einen so jungen Unternehmer, denn er denkt an die Details und legt grossen Wert darauf, dass sich der Gast willkommen und wohl fühlt. Ich bin dankbar für die Bekanntschaft und kann diese wunderbare Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Es nuestra segunda vez hospedados en esta casa y nos gustó mucho. Además es un lugar seguro y muy tranquila.

Un buen lugar si se busca relajar, despejarse de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza. Recomendada la piscina natural, y es un lugar muy bonito para compartir en pareja. El sendero es de alta dificultad, por lo que es mejor para aventura fuerte, y no tanto para perros o adultos con poca condición física. Vimos tucanes, muchos pájaros y los amaneceres y atardeceres son espectaculares. Andrea, la co host, es muy amable, nos ayudó siempre con todo y nos hizo sentir en casa

Elier is an incredible host. Very responsive. The cabin is tucked away in a remote location where you won’t stumble upon anyone else. Instructions to get to the cabin are fantastic and the host keeps the roadway chained off to prevent random explorers from pulling up. ☺️ The cabin itself is beautiful. Love the sounds of the birds in the morning. A/C works wonderfully. WiFi is fast. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic rainforest getaway. Advice for driving there: There’s a very fun and steep road you have to drive up on the way there - if you’re driving at night, I recommend keeping your hand on the car lights to alternate between head beams and fog lights to more easily see head lights of oncoming vehicles. During the day, beep the horn a couple of times before sharp turns or before going up the steep hill, which is located 3 minutes away from the location per the GPS. My girlfriend was freaking out, but I absolutely loved the drive - GORGEOUS views from high-up.

A lovely rustic property surrounded by nature and sweet farm animals made this accommodation perfect for our family to stay for a night. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming to us.

Un espacio perfecto para desconectarse y cerca del parque Poás y otros atractivos de la zona. La vista de la ciudad en la noche desde la montaña es fantástica. El alojamiento cuenta con todo para una estadía en familia. Nos alojamos en la cabaña 2 qué tiene dos dormitorios independientes. Camas muy cómodas, baño con abundante agua caliente. A la cocina le faltan algunos implementos pero lo básico esta. En la noche pasamos un poco de frío, agregaría alguna frasada.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt this Airbnb deserved it. It’s a little away from the touristy areas which was really nice and you feel very connected with nature here. The property is stunning and the pool is very well maintained. I recommend the tour of the farm that David offers. He’s very knowledgeable and there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. Also, the monkeys that visit regularly kept my family very entertained. David went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. He even went out of his way to try and comfort my son after he had a little scare from a cicada (harmless bug). An overall amazing experience here, 12 stars

Casa grande con ventanales hacia todos los costados, sólo bosque alrededor, lugar silencioso, buen abastecimiento de leña para chimenea bien ubicada y segura. Cocina bien equipada, tal vez agregar 1 o 2 cuchillos para cortar. La naturaleza incluyó un nido en proceso en terraza.

Rick and Ashley’s house is a place where you can easily feel like home. It is beautiful and well equipped. On top of that, there are birds, toucans, hummingbirds and many others all around in the garden. Don’t hesitate a minute. Special thanks to our superb guide Jhonny with whom we did a night walk. He was able to show us many frogs, vipers, snakes.. but more, he patiently looked for the tapirus for us… And we saw them sooo close. A truly magical experience.

We enjoyed our stay so much at the cabin! We came to celebrate my SO birthday &. Rochelle was extremely proactive as a host with recommendations for food, getting us taxis, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as best as possible. The cabin was equipped with everything we could need & she made it feel like for our time there this truly was our home. She consistently checked in on us to make sure we were taken care of. The pictures don’t do enough justice in my opinion. The only downside of our stay was not having enough time to extend our trip haha. We wish we could have stayed longer, but whenever we come back to St. Lucia this place will be our forever vacation home.

Fue nuesta segunda visita a las cabañas Cima de Paz. Una experiencia 5 estrellas, excelente atención de los Host, siempre con un cálido recibimiento. La cocina esta totalmente equipada con todo lo necesario. Los jardines siempre en perfectas condiciones. Nos recibieron con una jalea de Mora deliciosa. Nos encanta porque es un lugar que aceptan mascotas.

I stayed for 3 weeks at Juana's and loved pretty much every minute of it. Juana and her family are incredibly helpful and friendly, always responsive. The workers who happened to be onsite, the neighbour, and the cats and goats were also very friendly! Because the workshed is right next to the cabin, workers were often about on weekdays, but they were always respectful of my space. I felt like I was part of a little community, rather than being completely isolated, which as a solo female traveller I appreciated. The music echoing from the town was surprising loud some nights (bring good earplugs), but the days are tranquil, and the four private outdoor spaces — the upper net, the deck with hammock, the eating area, and the large patio — are amazing. The cabin is, conveniently, a short though steep walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Taganga. Thank you so much for everything!

Highly recommend this private cabin with breathtaking views of Laguna de Apoyo, Granada, and Lake Nicaragua. The retreat (hotel) is very new and modern with beautiful design and architecture. The staff (especially Alejandro the administrator and Johnny our driver) were very friendly and accommodating. It was very helpful having all of our transportation, tours, and reservations coordinated by the hotel. The onsite dining was delicious and we enjoyed having our meals al fresco enjoying the spectacular views and pool side service. The hotel grounds are gorgeous with blooming gardens surrounding the main building and cabin. Having a private cabin a few steps away provided some extra privacy and space for us while still being close to everything we needed. The cabin itself was very spacious and the amenities such as the AC, wifi, and hot shower we were glad to have as not all hotels in the area offer these. Town of Granada & Mombacho volcano are only 20/30 min away so you can easily visit.

Our second stay at Gizelle’s cemented the decision to make this one of the places we return to, any time we are home. The calm, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere is just one of the many reasons we so dearly love coming here. In addition, Gizelle provides a home away from home. As we open the door, we are welcomed into a space that feeds our souls. I am not kidding! I feel the stresses I carry just dissipate. We waste no time in grabbing a drink and sitting on the porch listening to the birds and watching boats go by. Gizelle is also very easy to communicate with! We ran into an issue with transportation but with recommendations from Gizelle, we met the most amazing driver. All in all, Gizelle’s care for others is apparent in how she prepares her place for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Gizelle!

This was the most beautiful Airbnb stay. Check in was simple, we were greeted by the host and he gave us a tour and lots of recommendations for food, waterfalls, etc. The cabina was extremely private but also easy to get to. It was spotless and had everything we needed in terms of appliances. The pictures do not do this place justice, truly my favorite place I have ever stayed!

El espacio de Yolanda es un espacio bendecido, mágico, único y especial. Un regalo que la vida nos ha brindado al encontrarnos con tan hermoso lugar. Todo es mágico allí. La paz con la naturaleza, los animales, la localización tan privilegiada en el mismo centro de la cordillera central de las montañas de nuestra hermosa Isla Borikén, la cabaña privada. Yolanda pensó en cada detalle que puedas imaginar y no puedas imaginar para tener en la cabaña. Es bella, fuerte, te sientes segura, está súper bien construida, tienes TODO lo que necesitas adentro y afuera para pasar una escapada contigo y/o con tu pareja de ensueño. No nos queríamos ir; ya queremos volver. Si eres amante del sol y la luna, este lugar es para ti! Tiene una vista inigualable fijamente hacia el este de nuestra Isla, así que puedes planear con el tiempo vistas espectaculares. Además, las estrellas se ven preciosas. Nos encantó conocer a Yolanda, y más aún que apoyamos a una local, con un proyecto dónde se crió.

Heerlijk verblijf in Minca. In een rustig gedeelte van de stad, met de rivier en restaurants op loopafstand. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien, met een goed uitgeruste keuken en een fijn terras. Inchecken verliep eenvoudig middels een sleutelkastje, op verzoek konden we wat eerder de woning in. Damon is zeer responsief en behulpzaam, met allerlei tips over Minca en de omgeving. Verder heeft hij ons geholpen met vervoer naar onze volgende bestemming.

It was a magical experience staying with Che. Beautiful bamboo cabañas and ours had a lake view. Che was responsive, helpful, generous and has lots of stories if you get talking. The gardens are exquisite and you’re allowed to pick your own herbs, ginger, turmeric and star fruit. If you are thinking about renting out one of his spaces, don’t hesitate, just book! It’s the most beautiful place my partner and I have ever had the luxury of staying. Can’t recommend enough.

Just a magical place! No, these are not "fancy" accommodations, but they are not meant to be. The cabin is intended to blend with the surroundings. You feel as if you are in the jungle yet steps away from the pristine Caribbean waters. Beds were comfortable and all amenities needed were available. If you enjoy nature, strolling and exploring beautiful landscapes, and combing the private shorelines for shells and other treasures, this place is for you.
