Our family truly enjoyed staying at Chiri Glamping. Our son had a great time climbing on the rock wall, swinging, sliding, and soaking in the hot tub. The bed and linens were the most comfortable of all our accommodations in 12 nights in CR - luxurious and plush. The bathroom was surrounded by nature and the shower products were soothing and relaxing, and everyone had their own robe. The essential oils were a nice touch, and the ac kept the room cool and inviting. We cooked dinner in the well stocked kitchen, and my husband got an amazing cocktail in the beautiful restaurant. The front desk staff was friendly, thorough, and escorted us to our room. The view overlooks Santa Elena and it was striking to watch the clouds come in and then go out within minutes. This is truly and special experience. We did hear music in the night from a nearby business and there was a bike race in the morning that woke us quite early, but in this convenient to town location, it is inevitable. Recommended!

Villa Cupola in Runaway Bay was an incredible escape, especially during Christmas! From the stunning views to the tranquil atmosphere, everything was perfect. The villa is beautifully designed, with an infinity pool overlooking lush landscapes and stylish, comfortable interiors that felt like a luxurious home away from home. The highlight was the exceptional food by Jane and Joy. Every meal was a masterpiece—unforgettable oxtail, tender Christmas turkey, and perfect pancakes each morning. Their warm hospitality made the experience truly special. The host went above and beyond with thoughtful Christmas touches, fresh fruits, and great tips on local spots. After enjoying a bit too much holiday rum, the comfortable beds and peaceful surroundings made for the best sleep ever. If you’re looking for a relaxing, sun-soaked, and indulgent getaway, Villa Cupola is the place to be. Highly recommend it—I’ll definitely be back!

Andrea’s stay was nothing short of incredible, definitely the stand-out stay during our trip to Costa Rica. Andrea welcomed us into her paradise with open arms, making us feel right at home straight away with gifts including a t-shirt and a bottle of wine to celebrate the businesses anniversary. The Echo domes were extremely cool, nothing like I have ever stayed in before and the sleep was amazing! (Also stocked up with everything needed) The location itself was what tied the stay together, the tropical surroundings were even more scenic than the pictures and a 2 minute walk out you would find yourself on a scenic natural (and private) beach - you can also walk just 10 minutes left or right to Punta Uva and Manzanillo, both lovely places to visit for the day. Upon our departure Andrea even left pack lunches for us in the fridge as we had a super early start and missed breakfast!! We would 100% come back to Costa Rica just to stay in Andrea’s paradise again!

Andrea ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gibt sich sehr viel Mühe, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Das Frühstück ist inkl. und sehr lecker (+liebevoll angerichtet). Das Kuppelzelt und die Umgebung sind wirklich etwas besonderes. Sehr gepflegt, liebevoll eingerichtet, es wird jeden Tag aufgeräumt. Der Privatstrand ist sehr nah und sauber, die Schaukeln und Liegen laden zum Verweilen ein. Wirklich wunderschön, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful place, surroundings and attentive host. The place is spotless clean, organized, spacious and welcoming. What you see in the photos is what you get. Will recommend it!

L’emplacement est bien situé pour aller visiter la forêt nuageuse, les tours nocturnes et autres activités de Monteverde. Nous avons trouvé facilement l’emplacement en mettant sur Waze Hotel Cala lodge et ensuite en suivant les instructions fournies ( avec photos). À partir de l’hébergement, nous pouvions voir une famille de Coati qui se promène dans les arbres aux alentours et sur le toit. Nous avons vu un Motmot sur une branche près du balcon arrière. Les lits sont très confortable, la literie également, il y a de l’eau chaude et nous n’avons rien manqué en équipement.

We had a wonderful stay! The views were amazing and it was such a relaxing place. The bus ride to Tayrona is less than 10 min away. Paula and Darlis were wonderful with helping to arrange taxis on our arrival in Santa Marta. The meals were absolutely delicious and we were also able to take advantage of massages which Paula and Darlis helped to arrange. They were very kind and accommodating hosts and we would absolutely stay here again!

Incredible place to stay in Monteverde! Vero & Mau were wonderful hosts. Mau even came out to greet us personally when we arrived, which was a really nice touch. The space itself is open and airy, and while the dome can get kind of warm during the day, it’s such a lovely temperature in the evening and at night. Waking up to the view of the trees all around was breathtaking. And we saw lots of coatis in the surrounding trees. The space was very clean, with lots of great touches, like extra shelving in the bathroom, a bottle of wine, a bench next to the shoe area, and a blanket to take outside on the balcony. Will definitely stay here when we return to Monteverde!

What an amazing space! We loved staying here and would definitely come back. The property is very beautiful and peaceful. Make sure to check in beforehand about using the projector and anything you may need to bring - the grill is charcoal so you’ll need to have something to start that with. Otherwise was fantastic! Anything we needed was available and Josue was a great host.

The Dome was super cool. My son doesn’t want to stay in a regular apartment Airbnb anymore. Beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything. The pool was a great spot to relax after a day full of activities. The host was always in touch and offered good recommendations.

We had a wonderful visit at the dome! It was private, clean, in a beautiful mountain setting. The hosts gave us excellent recommendations and clear instructions for the dome.

Eduardo was very helpful and welcoming . When we arrive he showed us around the property and told us about animals we could look out for. They have a Macaw living at the front of th property. we saw many tucans, humming birds, a couple of macaws and heard the howler monkeys close by. The place is very close to his home but tucked away where you feel very private. It was quite and peaceful. It was a great vlfirst stop for our visit to Costa Rica.

Ingresamos a las 10:30 am a realizar la caminata a los senderos Acuarela y Jade, la cual fue una aventura muy bonita. Recomendarles llevar buenos zapatos para caminar entre la montaña ya que hay partes que son un poco difíciles, pero esto lo hace emocionante para los amantes de la aventura. Duramos aproximadamente 2 horas y 40 minutos desde las instalaciones ida y vuelta. Nos encantó la paz y tranquilidad del glamping ya que está rodeado de naturaleza. Fue espectacular el poder tener una noche con una luna increíble que pudimos apreciar desde la cama. La terraza es maravillosa para pasar la tarde y noche descansando y el desayuno incluido fue muy completo y delicioso. Muy recomendado.

We stayed at the crystal new villa (not the bubble) and it was an amazing nature retreat. If you want to have some time away from the city life and have a quiet time with the sound of nature, this is it. The host was responsive and helpful. The facility has all basic needs and it was clean. We dont have any complaints and 100% recommend.

We loved it. The space was lovely, indoor and out. Sleeping to the sound of frogs and night time critters was fabulous. Great bathroom. Wonderful restaurant right down the street. Ray was very responsive, as the instructions for entry and the hot tub were misleading/conflicting. We were nervous to use the hottub since it wasnt set up how he described we didnt want to hit a wrong button. Also, it takes a while to heat up apparently. So plan accordingly, it didn't mention that anywhere and got late to quick, another reason we just didnt use it, which was unfortunate b/c we were excited to. But, the bed was cozy, everything was clean, a/c worked great, wonderful bathroom too! Even had games and a telescope! Definitely wish we were there more than just one night to enjoy. If you can be there for sunset it has a perfect set up for it. Highly recommend this place! Oh and the drive way is very steep, or you park at the button with a rocky stairway up- just an fyi.
