We loved our little jungle home. The place was very special. The beach and water were wonderful for the kids. Ramon and family were also very welcoming. The home got a little hot at night but we adjustment after the first night. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Very quiet and very peaceful. If you want quiet time this is a nice spot to be. There are a few very small local bars and restaurants nearby but not many options. Will need to go to town to do / see anything meaningful. But a wonderful place to get away if solitude is what you are looking for.

This stay was special in exactly the way we thought it would be. You’re sleeping right in the middle of the jungle, but protected with a net on the bed. You can hear all sorts of animals throughout the night and day which enhances your experience. The restaurant on the grounds is magnificent and has amazing food. Our host Megan was so supportive and proactive with our constant change in travel plans. She also helped setting up a guide to hike the volcano as well as took care of our ferry tickets to come in (we did ourselves for the way back due to last minute changes and it was a huge pain) Overall, if you’re looking to be immersed in nature on an island with several good restaurants and plenty of things to do. This stay is perfectly located for that and offers great value for the price.

Absolutely incredible house in the cloud forest of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Amazing architecture with breathtaking views of Santa Marta and the Caribbean Sea. If you are looking for a private secluded spot to check out and really enjoy natural surroundings this is definitely the place to go. Short drive to the awesome mountain town of Minca with lots of hiking..great restaurants..and laid back vibe. Esteban was onsite to greet us and overly accommodating. Incredible guy who was there to assist in any way possible. One recommendation..if you are renting a vehicle ensure you have a 4X4 for the last mile up the mountain road to his house. I was able to make it with a smaller suv but have experience in driving those types of conditions so not recommended. You can also park at the base and get a ride up if you prefer. Highly recommend booking this place and will go back!!!

Villa Tayrona was a dream place to stay! The gardens are exquisite and we saw so many beautiful birds from the balcony of our room! Lina was so responsive and helpful. She told us about a lovely local pool to swim during the day and helped us book massages. The massages were so tranquil, outside under the pavilion on the property! There are many little touches that make this stay special. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, gorgeous design in the rooms, bathrooms and outdoor kitchen. Ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room in case the road noise bothers you (it did not bother us). The air conditioning, mini fridge and smart TV were also such a treat. We loved the stunning floral arrangements on the tables and the friendliest house dog (Leo) and cat (Nolo). Yuca, the restaurant, had extremely delicious food!! The curry, stir fried rice and pasta were all delicious ! Breakfast was yummy too. The chef was so talented and the staff were friendly. Overall, highly recommend!

3 Rivers Ecolodge is amazing. The zip lines, the rivers, the natural pools and showers... The food was excellent and Jem has been a wonderful host. I highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay! Super new cabins, nicely decorated, comfy bed, clean, nice bathroom which is part of the cabin, so all for yourself! Ooh and you can open the roof to see the stars! Tasty breakfast included! We also had diner in their restaurant which was super fresh and tasty! We loved it so much that we booked an additional night! Highly recommend to book one of their cabins as it feels like the most comfy place you can book in beautiful Cabo de la Vela!

Very nice tucked away little cabin. Good bed and very quiet. Little bit further away from sightseeing spots. But with über, bus and friendly Costa Ricans doable without a car. Hosts are very helpful and even offered driving me to a restaurant on arrival.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße von Las Terrenas, aber sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist davon nichts mehr zu merken. Die Unterkünfte, der Pool und die Gemeinschaftsbereiche befinden sich in einem wunderschön gestalteten, ruhigen Garten im hinteren Teil des Grundstücks. Man hat viel Privatsphäre und fühlt sich wie in einer kleinen tropischen Oase mitten in der Stadt. Alles war sehr sauber, und Estefany hat uns herzlich empfangen. Sie ist jederzeit ansprechbar und hilft schnell, sei es bei Fragen zur Unterkunft oder der Organisation eines Rollers oder Mietwagens. Der Gemeinschaftsbereich im Garten ist auch ideal zum Arbeiten (Homeoffice). Es gibt Steckdosen, das WLAN funktioniert zuverlässig, und die Atmosphäre ist genau so, wie man sie sich zum arbeiten wünscht. Für den Preis eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft in super Lage - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

As indicated in the description, Spike's place is more remote than other places and was a bit of a haul on the moto but it was worth it. The room was very comfortable, clean, with a great breeze at night. The only noise at night was the lapping of the waves of the lake and howler monkeys and roosters in the morning. It was not far to San Ramon to hike to the waterfall and the lakeside there was also nice for swimming. But the best part were Orli and Carla who were amazing hosts (Spike was away) and made great meals even given my daughter's dietary restrictions. They were very helpful for anything we needed and super friendly. We loved our relaxing week there.

The place is quite nice with a beautiful view of the city. The owner is very nice and helped with all questions. The room corresponds to the photos.

Pierre y Nuria excelentes anfitriones, desde que llegamos nos dieron la bienvenida y nos explicaron absolutamente todo y se pusieron a nuestra disposición, muy amables y amigables, el recibirnos nos hizo sentirnos como en casa, el lugar era tal cual se mostraba en las fotos, súper tranquilo y lleno de mucha naturaleza, un lugar al que sin duda volveríamos a ir.

Nos encantó el lugar, el atardecer estuvo precioso y la conexión con la naturaleza. Dormimos super cómodos y el ambiente es muy tranquilo.! Recomiendo pedir desayuno estaba delicioso.! 💖✨

Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit chez Gilles et nous regrettons de pas avoir pu y passer plus de temps ! La vue est magnifique, le logement est très bien équipé, et bien sûr une mention spécial pour ta gentillesse Gilles, et pour ton planteur bien sûr :) Nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour !

Rosa was a great host. she's very nice and accommodating! Cabin is quite spacious and beautiful! we wish we could have spent more time enjoying the pool but we arrived later than expected and had to leave quite early for an excursion. The restaurant on grounds was great. the food is excellent and the atmosphere (especially during the evening) is quite nice. The roads to the location are quite rugged and windy but that's definitely not the hosts fault!

Chez Fabienne et Sébastien est magnifique! Un parfait repos pour le soir. It was also great to have the option to take a ride to and from the airport with Sebastian - made everything so calm and easy. Merci merci!

Je recommande à 100 % cette adresse une famille cubaine très sympathique, au petit soin pour les hôtes. Très beau cadre au milieu de la nature, une magnifique propriété avec piscine. Nous avons mangé et déjeuner tous les jours là-bas. Très bonne cuisine produit frais du jardin. Gabriel nous a organisé des superbes et magnifiques visitent de la région. On est reparti avec des souvenirs inoubliables et avec regret de quitter ses belles personnes qui ont le cœur sur la main.

Incredible spot on a river in the jungle. Was an adventure to get to and involved crossing a very shallow river, but that meant that it was super private and totally immersed in nature. Staff (shoutout to Daniel!) were all delightful. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

What an adventure it was... totally in love with this place. Great food, nice dogs which are good with kids, lovely people and great atmosphere.
