We had a wonderful 4 days at Luisa's place! Comfortable, clean and very tidy. Everything you could need in the kitchen, bedrooms were fab! Huge lounge and lovely wood burner. Highly recommend this property, we will definitely be visiting again!

Lisa and Graham were exceptionally friendly from the start, but allowed us our privacy while we were there. Lovely touch having local biscuits and milk on arrival. Linen and towels in the bedrooms were lovely and fresh. The water is supplied from a local spring, and was delicious, and power from solar panels. The view from the kitchen/lounge was amazing - cute goats, sheep and donkeys just outside the door, and views over the hills to the sea. Watching the sunrise was lovely. The "Scratching Post" games room was fun, with fresh eggs and drinks available to buy and a pool table. Bring 50p coins! Really close to lots of walks - either straight from the door to Boggle Hole, or a short drive from Falling Foss with a beckside forest walk. Close enough to drive to Whitby for fish and chips, or Thorpe Stores in Fylingthorpe for a fresh bacon buttie from the friendly local shop. We'd love to come back and stay again.

Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

Lovely place to stay. Very peaceful street and in walking distance of Yarm. Sarah replied quickly when I had a couple of questions. Would definitely stay again.

Definitely my favourite Airbnb booking in 7 years!! The cabin it’s very well equipped, I’d say they thought about everything. Everything is super clean, good smell in every room. They have 4 smart tv’s, one in each room/lounge. Bed sheets were good quality and smelling really good. Good wi-fi as well. The cabin it’s reserved out of anyone’s way, it’s super quiet (you’ll be the last one in a cul-de-sac), you’ll only hear the animals and river which can be seen of 2 different bedroom windows , so from privacy perspective spot on, ideal for a couple or a family escape. I will definitely go again, I usually don’t even leave reviews , but after 2 nights I fully recharged my batteries. Hot tub was again spotless and the right temperature, both of us really enjoyed that too. The only suggestion I’d have which is probably not a must, more like a personal preference, would be building 3 walls to break the wind and probably cover the canopy/roof over hot tub. Ben was an excellent host and I would really recommend his place for the location, if you are holidaying in Ripon it is very central. The house was clean and homely. Parking is on street and we managed to get a spot on the road every night the week we stayed but generally it had filled up by approximately 17:00, there is alternative parking in a carpark around the corner though. There is a nice running route through fields along the river out of Ripon and back in from the north. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! It has truly been a blessing to stay and we cannot wait to come back & make more mems. Sending love, my family and I!

The house is lovely and well stocked. It is a home away from home with attention paid to the detail that makes a home. Sally was really responsive and helpful. We went for my mums 87th birthday and she loved being there and quite the accolade she said best nights sleep in a long time (she was in the small double room nearest the toilet), possibly helped with me waiting on her hand and foot. A lovely stay and Thankyou Sally.
