Caleb's house was clean, comfy, and close to groceries, shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood is very walkable...much appreciated for our dogs. The fenced back yard was a bonus. The house is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen well stocked. We felt right at home, and would stay here again.

Kert's house worked perfectly for me and my family. I'd categorize this place as a "home", not just a house. My grandchildren called it "Grandpa's house". Our stay was relaxed and comfortable, just what we were looking for. The kitchen and dining room were ideal for our family meals. The bikes were also a big plus for us. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

This is my third time staying here! By far my favorite on Oak Island. The home is absolutely beautiful. The location is extremely convenient. The home is spacious and comfortable, the views are spectacular and the amenities at the home are great!

Can't say enough about this BnB! We travel a whole lot and often with our pups. This place was perfect for relaxing at the beach with our dogs - it's fenced and clearly set up for furbabies - even an extra leash and poop bags as well as a ball and some bowls. Many beach places smell a little due to moisture and this place did not at all! It is well laid out for multiple guests too. The labeled kitchen supplies were awesome and everything was in order and made sense. We loved relaxing on the deck overlooking the canal, the extremely short walk to the beach, the very comfy couches and having a general store so close. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Definitely 5 stars! We love a place that is privately owned vs owned by a corporate company and we could tell this beach home is well cherished. Thank you for sharing it with us!!

We loved our stay here! Chris is a great host who provides just the right amount of communication & care. The home was freshly clean & neat with instructions for everything in the house clear & simple to follow. My daughter & I had absolutely everything we needed for the week! It was nice to have bikes, beach chairs, a heavy-duty beach cart, boogie boards, & sand toys already available for use. Our favorite parts of this property were the walk to the beach and the screened in back porch. We couldn't appreciate until we got there that the walkway over the intercoastal waterway was literally at the end of the street, making the walk just .3 miles (or about three blocks) to the beach. Even with two little boys it was an enjoyable walk! Fun fact: there's also a wild bird hospital on the way where you can take a tour to learn how they rehab injured birds (Sea Biscuit Wildlife Shelter). The comfy screened porch was a bonus for coffee time & fun with kids during rain showers. We'll be back!

The place was perfect in every aspect: The location, size, accommodations, amenities, and proximity to the areas we frequented. For our tennis group, the total cost was less than what a hotel would have cost, which is historically where we used to stay. This experience, summarized by our ability to share one place, travel together, have meals together, watch TV together, and have the large space to spread out was absolutely fantastic. The experience was positive any which way you look at it. On top of that, Jana (and her husband) were super hosts with super friendly communication. We wish we had the opportunity to meet them in person, but..............maybe this time next year :-).

This home is a gem—beautifully decorated, cozy, clean, and exceptionally well-equipped. Thoughtful touches like snacks and wine made it even more special. The front porch was a dream, offering lovely sunrise views around houses, and glimpses of shimmering waters throughout the day. Sunset views out back were wonderful. The location is fantastic— close to both bridges to Wrightsville Beach, walk or bike to great food, nightlife, and the beach. The charm of Harbor Island and waterfront dining along the Intracoastal is unmatched. Kayak access is directly across the street but there's a short drop into the marsh—water shoes recommended! For an easy walk-in launch like in the photos, you’ll need to go a bit farther. The neighborhood is peaceful at night, but during the day, the nearby school and some local construction add a bit of background activity (7am -7pm). Not ideal for remote work, but perfect for adventure get away and peaceful nights. Hosts were AMAZING, highly recommended!

Very clean home, comfortable beds, lots of space, well stocked kitchen. Loved the split air units and the ceiling fans! The deck was great and the basement/garage was clean and clutter free great for the kids. Short safe walk to the waterfront and close to stores! Terrell was a great host, very communicative and responsive we had 0 issues with our stay!

We had a great long weekend stay. The house exceeded our expectations, was spacious and the views were incredible. Only a half mile drive to the bridge leading to the surf city pier.

We had the best time at Mike's place. It smelled so fresh and clean when we walked in. My kids LOVED the place! My youngest (6) loved the toys and games. We loved walking down to the dock and fishing. This was a very last minute booking. We were staying at Myrtle and decided the morning of check out to drive down to OKI and spend a few days. OKI is like our 2nd home. I got on AirBNB and found Mikes place. Mike was super quick to respond and even let us check in a little early. He checked on us throughout our stay and made sure things were ok. Awesome host, house and vacation spot! We will definitely be back!

Great location. Walking distance to downtown was great. Enjoyed the porch and loved the house.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! House is cozy and warm. Beds great. Love the location - close to the park for dog walking and at the end of the island - such a wonderful walk to the south point! Love this house and hopefully will return. Furniture very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, loved the screen in porch in back, very quiet. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. Short walk to the beach and canal. Golf cart is definitely worth having as everything you would want to do is just a short ride and offers free parking. Home is equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and private. Great if you have kids. Homeowner is great as he always responded quickly to any questions I had prior to our arrival. Once you are there, the detailed instructions provided will guarantee a great stay. Definitely recommend and hope to return again.

We loved our stay here! Such a cute and comfy cottage, perfect for a beach trip; it comes stocked with pretty much everything you could ask for. Loved that it was walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, as well as beach access points, while also being tucked away down the street for a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. Todd was an excellent host as well, very friendly and responsive. Thanks so much!!!

This cozy cottage was exactly what my daughter and I needed for a weekend away in a secluded setting on their property. Charlene was a gracious host and the amenities in this cozy cottage were impeccable! It was super inviting, modern, and had all the things that you needed including very appreciated basket of snacks upon arrival. My daughter and I really enjoyed using the gym next-door and then headed out toward Wrightsville Beach the next day. We enjoyed the fire pit at night with provided firewood on the cute patio with the string lights and peaceful sounds of nature. Grocery stores were easily 5 to 10 minutes away and Wilmington was a good 15-20 minute ride. Topsail was 25 minutes in the other direction and we loved visiting there as well. The property is huge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage! Great stay overall!
