Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely cozy cottage in the beautiful village of Addingham. The cottage was nice and clean with welcoming goodies on arrival. Lorraine provided is us with useful information of places to visit around the location and how to access the parking space before we arrived. The hot tub is so relaxing after a nice walk. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Lorraine & Hayley.

Excellent hosts home made cake lovely welcome pack was very nice touch even put candles on the cake and decorated for my birthday very helpful with local places to visit and eat rose barn was immaculate we felt right at home don’t essitate to book it’s stunning stay thankyou again

We’ve stayed in many rental properties in the U.K., Europe and USA and this is one of the best. Felt instantly at home. Beautifully decorated and fantastically well equipped we didn’t want for anything. Great for a short break but we could have happily stayed for weeks. Sally and Nick were so helpful and reassuring. We spent half our time planning a return visit this year and next! Well done

The cottage is beautiful and the small touches are so thoughtful. Beautiful surroundings and great location to access walks. Wendy was very friendly and responsive to messages and made the check in process easy.

Incredible place in beautiful settings. Beware of house envy when visiting as it will blow you away! The only minor minor flaws is that the only bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom as it is an en suite. Photos don't do this place justice it's fantastic!

Amazing stay with me and my friends for a birthday week. Perfect location and perfect base for all our hikes during the week. Definitely recommend

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

Great place to stay. Lovely area close to Colne and surrounding areas. House was very well stocked- had everything you could need. Would 100% recommend staying there again.

This was our 2nd visit here and probably won't be our last. Small clean and tidy and just what we need for a central stopping point to meet family and friends.

The house was absolutely lovely warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained. Every detail, from the charming decor to the cozy ambiance, made it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor area was equally delightful, perfect for enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or an evening under the stars. It was clear that great care had been taken to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. A truly wonderful stay!

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. We loved staying at Jackie and Izzy's cottage which was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The cottage is ideally located for exploring North Yorkshire with easy access to York. A lovely stay - thank you!

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Catherine is an excellent host, great communication and keen that everything is ok, quick response to queries raised. lovely welcome touch, of milk, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit juice jam, butter and apples and a supply of tea and coffee. Lovely compact cottage with a good kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. peaceful and quiet, away from everything but only a short drive in to Kendal

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

Joan was such a wonderful host! The house was spotless and cozy, and she went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even kept the fire going while we were out, which made coming back feel warm and welcoming. On top of that, she gave us fantastic recommendations for local spots to visit—we ended up seeing some great places we wouldn't have known about otherwise. Highly recommend staying here!

my partner and I had a fantastic stay. Easy to access the property with Deborah's instructions. The property is beautiful and the bath is an amazing addition. Great location with walks that you can complete from the front door. We ate at the White Swan in Fence and the food was beautiful -A great reccomendation from Deborah. We will definitely be back

What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

Right from the start Sheena and her family were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was lovely and in a fabulous location. Speaking to other guests leaving rhe cottage next door, I said I would love to return here. They told me that this was their 15th time staying, and I can totally understand. I can't wait to come back to Chapel Row Cottages.

A beautiful area and property. A shame that we were only staying one night as Alexander had let us know of all the amenities in the area and we didn’t get a chance to sample them. The views were stunning and the property had great character and absolutely everything we needed. Very clean, clutter free and a bonus of a Bluetooth speaker as I’d forgotten mine. Alexander was spot on with communication and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!
