This is our second time staying at the “dog house” with Kayla. As usual the place does not disappoint and Kayla really thinks of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is immaculate and smells clean. We will definitely be back. My dogs give it a five paw rating.

This home is in the hotbed of Frederick. It's extremely walkable, with a plethora of great eateries. I personally recommend Maxwell's and Bean & Bagel. The home itself is a little quirky due to it being built in 1890, but Steve has added amenities which will not leave you feeling as though you're living in the past. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. If you choose to stay here, I will caution you to read the signs carefully. Every night is a game of musical chairs with parking spaces, and I wasn't in on it (I got a parking citation). But if anything, this only encourages you to walk and see beautiful Frederick. Just stick to the main roads at night.

The house is comfortable, spacious and has all the amenities and supplies you would have in your own home!! I met CJ upon my arrival, and he was gracious to assist me with unloading my car. I also met Stan later, and both are kind, welcoming and friendly. I traveled with my 9yr old Alaskan Malamute and CJ was happy to take her on a tour of the property- quiet, on a dead-end street with no traffic so perfect for kids and pets!! I enjoyed reading my book on the front porch rocker :) Thank you for a relaxing, enjoyable stay! Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area with my 4-legged travel companion.

This space was very comfortable. Easy walking (about 10 minutes) to downtown. Super clean home. Host is super communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend Ed's home.

We have stayed at this property a couple times now as well as another property in Frederick with Shannon and James and there is a reason why we always stay at their place. Super clean, communication is perfect, very helpful with recommendations to restaurants or events that may be going on in the area and it always is set up with everything we need. When staying at a Air BnB I like to consider the parking especially while being with my family and the amount of stuff we bring and it is very convenient to have the private parking and easy access to the property. Shannon and James continue to be 5+ stars! Highly recommend to anybody especially families. Thank you again Shannon and James!

My group of 6 enjoyed a weekend of snowboarding/skiing, with the Airbnb just 5 minutes from Liberty Mountain. We enjoyed the separate area to put our gear and let them dry out. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking as well as a few spices. Our biggest complaints were the beds were uncomfortable and there were quite a few stink bugs and flies in the house. The flies were extra slow (maybe due to some sort of bug treatment?) so easy to grab. It did not ruin our experience, but is worth noting.

The family and I needed to make an impromptu visit, multiple couples coming from all over the east coast and this home was perfect for 4 couples. ample space, clean, quiet street and very well maintained.

The reason for our travel had us looking for accommodations pretty last minute. Kimberly was responsive and helpful, quickly eliminating any stress from that part of the trip. We can't express how thankful we are for Kimberly, and hosts like her. The house was a clean and inviting home away from home. We hope to be able to stay again in the near future.

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

Elisa's property was as advertised. The check-in instructions were very clear and all amenities that were advertised were provided. Rooms were very clean and spacious, and the upstairs loft area was a great area with plenty of games and takeout menus for an afternoon or evening inside. I would recommend anyone take a getaway trip and visit Elisa (and pups') property.

This home is really nice! We stayed there because our daughter was getting married at a venue about 5 minutes away from the home. It was perfect! Plenty of space for our family and was great for the bridal party to get ready! Nice open floor plan. The beds a bedrooms were very large with comfortable beds. The home was well equipped. The outdoor area was nice and I’m sure the pool is nice in the summertime. Thank you for sharing your home with us on this very special occasion.

The space was beautiful! The rooftop was my favorite, being able to read a book in the quiet. They always responded quickly and were so nice! They also saved a parking spot for us in the back which we didn’t end up using because parking was not an issue at all up front.

Very kids friendly place, the stroller was a life saver for us when we visited the Maryland zoo, kids had a lot of fun! The place is very cozy, tons of pillows, lines and blankets. Big supermarket 6 minutes away, highly recommended for families with kids to stay!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here, it gave me really sophisticated views and equally made me feel at home and comfortable. My guest and so were really impressed and just gave me the opportunity to get what i needed out of my stay. Would recommend and would return!

I can't say enough great things about my stay. The interior space is very clean and spacious and the exterior surroundings are so peaceful, quiet, and beautiful, surrounded by nature . The fenced in yard was a treat for my dog who safely enjoyed roaming freely through its landscape as I watched him from the screen porch. Martha and John are great communicators, who made our check in seamless and they catered to us with extra treats like a dog bowl for my dog, delicious red wine, and snacks. There is kitchenette area with a small fridge, Kurig, microwave and some essentials. Similar to what you might find in a hotel room. It was enough for what we needed. There are some great international cuisine Restaurants nearby. My favorite was Mimi's Kabobs & Pizza. The neighborhood has many beautiful horse farms and the area feels safe and friendly. I was visiting for a seminar and it was exactly what I was looking for: dog friendly, private, clean, and safe. I definitely plan to stay again.

We loved our stay at the Robin’s Nest-such a cute cottage with terrific decor! Perfect for our girls weekend away. It was far too cold to take advantage of the fire pit or hot tub but it looked like a great set up! We would happily stay here again, especially in warmer weather. Robin is a gracious host who was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend- the cottage is relatively close to historic Middletown and the Hagerstown outlets. Thank you Robin for a lovely weekend away- much needed!!

Judy and Dan’s place is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and their place was fully stocked with everything we needed. We had our two month old baby with us and it was such a comfortable stay. Only 15 minutes from the famous Old Westminster Winery and well worth the visit. Highly recommend.

We spent the week of Christmas at Sue and Jim’s place. It was perfect. If we had to be away from home, this was a very good choice and fit for our family. The house is cozy, private and well maintained. Sue was easy to communicate with and the horse farm is serene and peaceful. We have family in Mt Airy so the location was perfect. Very clean, decorated nicely for Christmas (thank you!) and we will stay here again soon!

Had a great time staying at the Pig Shed. Quiet, peaceful and a beautiful location. The place itself is small and cozy, appliances and cookware were all in great shape, and there were extra blankets, pillows and other supplies. Had a clear night for some stargazing, and made use of the grill and firepit. Overall the place had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our time there. Already planning to go back in the fall!

The stairs are a bit treacherous to get into the place and parking was super challenging, but overall the stay was peaceful and location was great (20 min to Liberty Mtn). Super clean and very responsive host. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Celina’s place for 3 months and she was always very attentive and friendly. She was quick to respond to all of our needs. It can be a little loud upstairs from time to time but given we were there for such a long amount of time, that is hardly surprising. It’s no worse than an apartment building in terms of noise. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
