Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso donde compartimos un fin de semana acompañado de perros y naturaleza, un lugar acogedor para ir en grupo o en pareja muy espacioso en la cocina equipada para preparar lo que nos gusta... Aun siendo pequeño para explorar, la compañía de los perros y lo hermoso de la vegetación hacen muy amena la estadía en un clima donde aunque hace frio la casa conserva muy bien el calor... Nos encantó el lugar

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

Honking the horn after hours to come in was awkward and I was told not to even come unless I called first before I arrived even after I paid and got receipt and the convo consisted of nothing important.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer geschlossenen Community. Die einzelnen Hütten sind umgeben von Garten und Grünfläche. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Leider hat das Restaurant auf dem Gelände geschlossen, aber in der Nähe gibt es lokale Restaurants und Mini Supermärkte. Die Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend für Wanderungen in der Umgebung!

Adela and her son Philip were wonderful and gracious hosts. The property is outstanding and offers a wonderful environment to rest and get away. The house we rented was great and the outdoors was cheerful and very quiet. We loved it. Thank you Adela. We will return.

La casa tiene una vista única y espectacular!!! Rodeada de mucha naturaleza y es excelente opción para desconectar de la ciudad!! La comunicación con Iván fue excelente y fue de ayuda en todo momento!! Super recomendada!!!

Excelente hotel, es el más antiguo en toda la zona de La Central desde hace más de 30 años entonces ya tiene su look rústico verdadero, habitaciones super espaciosas, donde estuvimos cabían 6 personas, 2 baños, 2 camas grandes y 2 individuales en cuartos separados, cada uno con su propia cocina de leña de las clásicas de hierro negro, la cocina super equipada, 2 discos, ollas, sartén, tazas diversas y muchos cubiertos, microondas y refrigerador, un sillón y muchas sillas y bastantes enchufes. El ventanal espectacular, se abren también para tener una vista sin obstáculos, puedes ir a ver las vacas y cabras de la finca y caminar por los senderos alrededor. Las caminatas al bosque quemado son lo más cercano y se podría ir hasta sin sacar el auto del lugar. Eso sí, no existe transporte público y si se ocupara, un taxi puede rondar 40$ cada trayecto, pero hay cobertura celular suficiente y con red de internet útil. Se debe mantener la cocina encendida ya que en 2-4h se puede apagar.

Die Unterkunft war toll, modern und hatte mehr als man brauchte. Ein voller Obstkorb und einige Getränke standen im Kühlschrank zur freien Entnahme. Der Host war sehr nett und bot uns sogar einen früheren Check-In und eine. Late Checkout kostenlos an. Es ist eine sehr ruhige Gegend mitten in der Natur und nahe des Flusses. Auch Pferdeliebhaber kommen auf Ihre Kosten. Die Fohlen waren so cute. Wie würden definitiv für mehrere Tage wiederkommen.

Nortico was beautiful. The Tiny House was easy to find and the hosts were very welcoming, communicative, and flexible. Kiara, the dog, was also so sweet and charming. You must do the tour to understand the inner-workings of the farm's beauty as well. Their approach to sustainable agriculture is insightful, inspiring, and fun. Thank you, Nortico!

Do Not Stay Here if you are not interested in living a good life. William, Leandra and team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed here with 2 littles for 1 week which flew by so fast. The lodge was clean and equipped with everything we needed. From the daily epic sunrise that we got to watch directly from the bedroom window and the back porch, to access to rivers with water falls. There are also hiking/running trails, many varieties of fruit trees, beautiful cows, delicious teas made from fresh leaves grown on the farm. We enjoyed daily fishing at the pond from which we cleaned and cooked our catches. We could not ask for a better place to spend our vacation. True definition of luxury surrounded by nature, so peaceful it was emotional in our last day. Pictures doesn't do this location justice... you have to experience it. We will be back for sure!

My family and I spent a few days here and loved it. Mela was very nice and accommodating. Her place was nice and it was a very fun environment. We loved being on the farm and being able to explore. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Seidy doesn’t describe her Airbnb fully. Better than we expected. Beautiful home with a good washer and dryer. Two comfortable beds downstairs. Nice kitchen but needs a good cutting knife for cooking. Great gas stove. French press and drip coffee makers. Toaster oven. We loved staying there.

Lugar precioso dentro de una finca hermosa. Especial para los amantes de la naturaleza. Se pueden realizar caminatas. Como está dentro de una lechería, para los niños pequeños es muy llamativo. La casita es muy acogedora, tiene de todo lo necesario y hasta tiene una chimenea especial para el frío de la noche. De verdad que recomendamos el lugar si lo que quiere es relajarse y descansar de la ciudad, aunque ofrece muy buen internet y cable. Nos encantaría regresar!.

The home itself was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. Moni was hands down the best host we have ever had! We were given clear instructions on how to enter the property, because it's definitely off the beaten path, but so worth the adventure and were welcomed with open arms. We loved every detail from the fresh eggs, fruit, and snacks waiting for us, to the recommendation book, and little games in the common room. The photos reflect a fraction of what it is actually like to be there. The views are SPECTACULAR, the hot tub was amazing after a day of horseback riding, it is peaceful, clean, and had one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on! We feel so lucky to have been able to stay with Moni, spend time with her and learn about such a special place 😊

Finca Guarumal is not just an Airbnb but an experience! I had planned a 20+km hike and found this Airbnb 8 min from the hiking trail. WOW am I glad I came across such a special and unique farm! The Airbnb was spacious, the kitchen was perfect with a large refrigerator, the bathroom was spa like and the washer and dryer is fantastic because I like packing light. Very clean and comfortable! Natalia created a cozy place! Beyond the Airbnb was the FARM and the surrounding beauty! Don Miguel, the owner of the farm for 40 years, is a breath of fresh air and has so much knowledge on both the animal life and flowers/trees! It was so amazing to walk the farm and the quiet roads and learn so much about nature. Also, the views are unmatched! The BEST part was the horses! I could have spent all day hanging out with the horses (and Don Miguel 😂). If you have a car there is so much to explore and do. Don Miguel can give suggestions based off of your interests. Thanks for a great experience!

This place is amazing. A super quiet and safe area. A craft brewery right next door. Just over one kilometre to walk to La Suiza. But it's downhill and and easy and scenic walk. We stayed for one month without a vehicle. We walked on average 10 km per day. And even after 30 days we still had new places to explore. We found two waterfalls with swimming holes nearby. Food and drinks are inexpensive in this area. And don't forget Walter. My new friend. He is an amazing person and host. He took us on a tour to see the areas best attractions. He was able to accommodate anything we needed. A real pleasure to get to know him and we look forward to next time. We will be back for another month. And quite possibly neighbours in the near future. If you're looking for outstanding surroundings in a beautiful place with good people and good vibes, this is perfect. Would recommend 100%. This is the best deal you can get. We had a group of 9 stay here and was very spacious. For the price you pay you get two trails on the property one leading to a waterfall. There are deer that you can go pet on the property and have a gate guard the whole time so you’re protected. Every single room has a view of the city which is tremendous sight to see. On top of that Chris, the grounds keeper, was very polite. He worked well with our check in considering we arrived at 3am. He knows the area well and has suggestions and always available to help with anything to need. If you plan to be around the San Jose are, this property/ AirBnB is a no brainer.

Nosotros ya es la segunda vez que vamos para trabajar… reunimos nuestro equipo de trabajo y es súper cómodo porque cada quien tiene su habitación con baño para comodidad. Tiene muchos espacios que pueden ser utilizados para tiempos de plantación y trabajo. Las zonas verdes y sus lugares de recreación son geniales para tiempos de compartir y unir el equipo. Tienen absolutamente todo lo que se pueda necesitar, las dos áreas de cocina son súper equipadas De verdad que es un lugar solo para llegar y llevar lo de uno personal porque todo lo demás lo suministran. No hay queja de nada es un hermoso lugar.

We enjoyed our short stay. Excellent view on the city during the day and at night. Easy to travel to Irazu. The place was spacious, clean and well equipped. We would definitely come back (also for longer)

This place is definitely off the beaten path. We stayed here on our way to the carribean coast because we love learning about organic farming methods. The host Johnny is awesome! He greeted us with delicious dinner ready and we had great conversations about all sorts of stuff. Breakfast was great too and the farm tour was very interesting. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay for longer but we would recommend it because it looked fun!
