Charming, beautifully restored, well-appointed, dog-friendly farmhouse in quiet, safe, unique setting of Marshallberg – as described and pictured but even better! Easy check-in and check-out. Excellent, communicative hosts. Very enjoyable – no problems at all. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others! Top notch!

This house was amazing for my family! We have a rather large family and it worked out very well to be able to spread our family into the two sides of the house. The beach was literally within sight and walking distance. It was quiet and peaceful just as we had hoped. Yet, you are within minutes of driving to whatever activities or shopping you wish. Amy our host was absolutely fantastic!!! She checked on us after checking in and was friendly and responsive to any questions we had! She rocks and so does their home! We absolutely would recommend her and this house if you are in the Emerald Isle area!!!! We will definitely come back!!!

This was the perfect space for our family! We came into New Bern to celebrate the passing of my stepfather and the house was cozy and comfortable. It was a nice house to come back to after the planning and celebration. We would definitely come back!

We had wonderful stay in Lee's place. Really enjoyed the spacious kitchen and light-filled breakfast room. Everything about the house was just right! Easy walk through historic neighborhoods to shopping and eating and the water front. Carrot Island was a fun trek. Friendly's in Morehead City is great for homemade food and also plants!

Our stay at Barefoot Bungalow was amazing. Immaculately clean, well stocked and equipped, great location close to public access to the beach as well as local restaurants and diners. Our host, Richard was responsive and friendly. The walk at Fort Macon State Park which is only a few minutes away was great ! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back !

The house was clean and spacious and the views were calming. The living room was really a place for gathering friends and watching the final four on the lovely sectional couch and giant loveseat chair. We ate our dinner around the dining table with plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in each bedroom for our belongings. We walked to the beach and took the golf cart to the beach as well. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The only downside was there was not enough seats on the outside decks where we spent most of our time. There were only two chairs and a love seat. We would stay again!

The home was comfortable and inviting with a great view of the Sound and only a block from the beach. It was exactly what we needed for a short getaway and some R&R.

Our stay was incredible! We were close to the beach, nearby restaurants and shops, and close to the venue we were going to for a wedding. Team was responsive and EXTREMELY helpful in regard to helping us locate an item that we left behind. Would recommend!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving week here. Jessica was extremely responsive before during and after our stay. The house had everything we needed, and there was room for everyone. It was great to be so close to the beach while also having a comfortable house where we could enjoy our Thanksgiving meal, games, movies, and family time together in.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Jeff and Julie's place for the weekend, checking in on Friday and enjoying two delightful nights before our Sunday morning checkout. The home was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and then some! Its proximity to the beach was fantastic—just a short walk away. We particularly loved the amazing backyard, which was perfect for our four-legged friend to explore and play. Additionally, many local shops were conveniently close to the house. Thank you, Jeff and Julie, for being such gracious hosts and making our stay so enjoyable!

Nice place for the price. I arrived a little early and they were happy to let me check in. The room was clean, and the location as a whole was nice and peaceful. I’d stay here again.

We had a great time at Michelle’s place. We were right across the street from the beach which was everything we were looking for. The place was very clean and had plenty of space and things to do, though we did spend a majority of time at the beach. I loved that she had an outdoor closet full of beach accessories and games. I also liked that there was a hose we could use to get the sand off with. We will definitely try to book here again!

We had a great time visiting Beaufort, Harker’s Island, Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout, and Fort Macon during our trip. The home was clean and cozy with plenty of space for our family to gather. Kerri was responsive and friendly when we had questions, and we’d be happy to stay there again.

We just returned from staying at Sarah's place for almost a week. It was one of the best Airbnb's we have ever been to! The house was beautiful and had everything you would ever want for a beach vacation. The proximity to the beach was amazing- just a quick walk and you were there. So easy to have our 3 kids there. We just went from the beach to the pool on repeat and they were thrilled. The pool area was amazing! I wish I could transfer it all home with me- it was hard to leave! We will definitely be back.

being from the outer Banks area and coming back to visit we couldn't have found a better place,it offered things I didn't know were available there...the host were great and responsive and understanding and the house was everything that was described, the feeling of home is the only way to describe the stay, the overwhelming feeling of peace is an understatement,definitely going back in the near future,highly recommend Brittany and Kelly to anyone who sees this add 🙏🙏

This home was AMAZING!! We felt right at home here. Beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Melissa and Family great people. Very friendly and helpful. The home had a stunning view of the sunset. 100% recommend.

Adorable spot that was perfect for our stay. I booked last minute due to a cancellation of another reservation, and I’m glad it worked out that way! Deborah was super nice and personable, and her place had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Ruth’s place was perfect for our getaway! We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a gift and note on how to reach Ruth should we need anything during our stay. From the artistic decor to the amenities provided everything was well thought out to make our stay carefree. Coffee pods, shampoo, hairdryer! We needed a dog friendly rental for our blind dog. I’d contacted Ruth ahead of time with questions and her response made me confident he’d be welcome and safe. The Woof Wall, dog bowls & dog treats reinforced his welcome. We enjoyed the view from the upper deck and saw wild horses from there. We also saw horses when walking along Front Street. Beaufort shops, restaurants & ferries are all reachable by an easy, enjoyable walk away along the waterfront with a picturesque view to accompany you. The whole area was great for bird watching & nature photography! We would absolutely book Ruth’s place again and would look forward to it!

Our family enjoyed the rest and solace at this charming home in Harker's Island. The backyard opens right up to the water, which is soothing. There is a Dollar General close by and we really enjoyed our meal at Fish Hook Grill. The Island Ferry to Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks is very close by as well.
