We had such a relaxing weekend getaway here! The beach access was so convenient and we really enjoyed how quiet the area was (the complex and the beach). My girlfriend is a germaphobe and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. We will be back!🙂

Very welcoming hosts, clean comfortable accommodations. A very private secluded quiet space - perfect for me & my fiancé. A very lovely area on the waterfront that provided a great escape for us. Close proximity to downtown Beaufort and the ferry services to outer islands. A great place to stay & play for a couple looking for a quiet escape from the daily grind. The owners live there on the property but we never saw or even heard them - yet Susan was very responsive to us if we needed anything. Super friendly and respectful. 5 Star service & accommodations! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great place! Loved the easy walk to the beach and the nice view. The place was comfortable and clean. Host was very helpful and friendly. Had a great time and would stay again!

Stunning location and breathtaking view. Right on the water looking across the river at New Bern. Wished I could stay longer. Fantastic bathroom, walk in shower, king size bed… slept so well I thought I was at home in my own bed when I woke up. This is a “must come back” location.

Ruth's studio apartment was charming and comfortable. It was on the more quiet end of town and an easy walk to Front Street, into town center along the waterfront. There is so much to discover between the surrounding nature and the historic aspects of the area such as The Old Burying Grounds and Fort Macon to explore. Definitely worth coming back to "Fishtown" when the weather is warmer to take advantage of all the area has to offer. Thank-you Steve and Ruth for sharing your lovely home with us.

This place was very nice, my family and I stayed about three weeks. Everything is as advertised. Well decorated, spacious and comfortable. Mike was a good host and would highly recommend staying here especially in the summer months.

The pictures don’t do this cute place justice. It’s so well planned out to include everything you need plus more! Central location that was perfect for our stay and easily walkable to everything you could want to do in Beaufort. Don’t let the small space fool you. It’s huge on charm and function. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!!

This was our third year staying here. Our favorite part has always been sitting on the back porch with our dogs enjoying the beautiful view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Skies. The house was very spacious while still feeling cozy. Several times a day we watched the dolphins out in the bay. When the tide was low we hunted for shells under and around the dock. Found dozens of large conch type shells but all were inhabited by hermit crabs so we put them back. Still a fun experience. The neighborhood was very quiet and was nice to walk around and look at all the beautiful homes. There are endless things to do in the area, even during off season. We searched (and found buckets worth) of shells at Macon State Park beach. We drove along the shore and saw wild horses grazing about 50 yards across the water from us. Before the temps dropped my kids loved swimming in the heated pool. All the shops you would ever need are within just a few minutes from the house but while at the house you feel like you are away from the world. Garret was always very quick to reply to questions and made our stay very easy. Better that 5 star

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property. Only thing we had issues with was cleanliness of bathroom and air filter. Both of which were dirty and clogged with dust. Only reason is was somewhat of an issue is because my kids are highly allergic to dust. Besides that, great property.

Wonderful home, perfect for a long weekend away. Kitchen was fully stocked & had amazing views of the sound. Back deck had beautiful views of the Emerald Isle sunrises & sunsets. Location makes you feel like you’re tucked away yet close to beach, park, grocery stores, walking path, restaurants & shops. Definitely recommend this home!

Loved the house on the water. Waking up and walking out and watching the sunrise was awesome. The sunset was just as nice but a little obstructed by trees. The house was fantastic. 3 beds and two full bath made it very easy for us to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to cook anything at home! Pet friendly and my dogs loved the covered porch looking over the water! Ac and heat worked great and was very comfortable. I would go back.

Michelle and Patrick's place was exactly as described. Amazing views, clean, well equipped kitchen and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for our family of 4 and our dog. The dock worked well for our boat allowing us to explore and fish all the great locations around Beaufort and Harkers Island. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful vacation!! Melissa was a wonderful host. The house was clean and comfy. The downstairs was perfect for additional guests. The view was amazing. We definately will return to Melissa's beautifu home. Thanks Melissa for making this a great experience for our family.

We love bogue shores, and this unit is a good one for a weekend stay! Favorite things are the location on the back (beautiful view, and quiet) suuuper comfortable bed and pillows, new shower, smart TV, spaciously laid out with lots of storage. The kitchen is a little dated, mostly ideal for making coffee, and sandwiches for the beach. You cannot beat the location, pool, and proximity to beach access! Beautiful docks, and open green space with picnic tables/charcoal grills/benches overlooking the sound!

Wendy’s place was perfect for our holiday! Location was easy to find and convenient. The place was exactly as described and very clean. There was enough room for our party of five. It was furnished nicely, very clean, and there was a great selection of games, even though we didn’t have a chance to play. There was even a workstation in the master bedroom if you needed it. The condo is close to Ft. Macon State park and our grandson enjoyed it very much. We would definitely stay at Wendy’s place again!!

Linda’s place is perfect! If you want a quite clean place that is all inclusive it is the perfect spot. It is sound side with a walkway directly across the street with public access to the beach. I highly recommend her condo for a relaxing beach vacation.

Beautiful location. Easy check-in and easy to get our things up to the unit with the elevator. Lovely view and perfect stretch of beach for long walks. Stayed here for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was very well supplied for cooking. A few minor maintenance issues and our preference is for firmer mattresses. But would still consider staying here again for all the other amenities.

Would highly recommend! This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and the stay here made our visit worthwhile. Its walking distance to the beach so I loved that we could just walk over after breakfast! The condo was clean and all the listed amenities were available. John was also very responsive and worked with us through the whole booking process!

Teresa's place was perfect for our needs! Super clean and true to the listing. We had everything we could possibly need and more! Close to great restaurants and such a quiet and beautiful beach. It rained for a part of our visit but it didn't bother us at all with such a comfortable condo and balcony with ocean view. My sisters and I enjoy visiting this area each year and all agreed that we would like to make Teresa's place our regular vacation spot!

Took a minute to figure out where the condo was located, but, once there, the stay was very peaceful and centrally located between Beaufort and Morehead City, giving us plenty of options of things to do and places to eat. Setting was beautiful. Park next door for early a.m. walks.

Lisa was a pleasure to deal with, always answered questions in a timely manner. The place was exactly as listed and had everything we needed. We walked the beach, searched for shells and saw a couple of dolphin pods. There were very few people on the property and it was very quiet. We had a GREAT time and would definitely recommend Lisa’s place. We hope to return sometime.
