my family and I had a splendid time at the apartment, really nice, spacious accommodation. location couldn't of been better for us.

Lovely flat in a great location, and Emma was a fantastic host.

Simon's place was clean and tidy with a cosy, homey feel! We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Even in the cold weather, the place was warm enough on mornings and evenings. The location is fantastic, only 5 min walk to the main street and so close many attractions. We couldn't get a parking space on the street, but as Simon mentioned the surrounding streets are also available. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy getaway in the lakes.

Fantastic property, amazing facilities and very close to local amenities. David responded very quickly to any queries and was very helpful.

This was a surprise stay for my wife’s birthday. She has wanted to come to the Lake District for a while and after searching available properties we decided that this was the place for us. Elizabeth is a very responsive host. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us at check-in. Bread, butter,fresh milk and a bottle of Prosecco. What a lovely touch this was. Property is in an ideal location for Windermere and Boweness. Lots of walks available on the doorstep. Restaurants and pubs all within easy reach. Plenty of information available when you read the welcome pack and recommendations made by Lizzie. Lovely spacious family home. Everything on hand if needed and supplied. Lizzie has thought of everything. Would definitely return if available next time we are thinking of staying in the Lake District. Overall a fantastic stay and host.

Could not recommend this place more. Just returned from a short break with my family at this stunning home. Hosts were friendly and helpful, location perfect and the home was comfortable and well equipped. Gardens and views stunning! We will be back!

We had a fantastic weekend away with friends in Upper Oak House. The house is beautiful and very well equipped, the hot tub being an added bonus. The house was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard. It’s in a great location with Windermere high street, with its great range of shops and restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. Bowness is a 25 minute walk away but there are regular buses which only take 5 minutes. We will definitely be back!

Great quirky place, which was in a brilliant location. Lots of bars and resteraunts around. Parking 2 seconds away and buses running to Windermere and other areas. Be aware if you get to windermere on the bus, the buses back are early and it's £50 in a taxi . Thanks for the stay Rachel would highly recommend.

Great place to stay for a lovely weekend walking in the Dales. Easy to find, with good parking away from the main road. House was clean and homely and we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Would highly recommend and we would love to stay again in the future.

We booked Simon's place for a family weekend to celebrate my Dad's 70th. It was the perfect home from home for us, but with added luxury! It's a beautiful house with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Board games, kitchen utensils, plenty of towels - every last detail had been thought of, and didn't go unnoticed. Simon was flexible with check-in, and we were fortunate to meet him when we were leaving, to thank him for an amazing stay. The pictures don't quite do it justice - it's a stunning property, ideal location and views to die for. Won't hesitate to stay again. We got balloons delivered from a nearby company, and a supermarket shop delivery too. My nephews are 5 and 7, and my parents turning 70 - we all loved it - even the dog who's not quite 1! Book it - you'll not regret it!

We had a lovely weekend here. Debbie met us on arrival and was the perfect host. We had everything you could need and the hot tub was an amazing addition. The brewery next door was ideal, we would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Penthouse! It was exactly as described, very clean & had everything we needed. The location was great with amazing views. Check in was simple & we had no trouble finding free parking. The milk & biscuits were a lovely touch after a long drive! Sedbergh has Lovely pubs within walking distance & the Spar shop up the road was very handy. This was a great base for us to explore. We would love to return & I’d 100% recommend staying here. Thankyou for having us!

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

Probably the easiest overnight stay I've had anywhere! Welcoming, easy to find and access and with all amenities nearby communicated from the start. Ray was able to accommodate us slightly earlier than booked time and allowed a slightly later checkout which was perfect for our family gathering. Extremely clean and tidy and presented really. Communication was fantastic and extremely prompt. Silky smooth experience and highly recommended! 😉

Fantastic stay at Number Four, from our warm welcome by Dave right through to our departure. The home was totally as lovely as described and in photos, clean and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. Ideal location, literally 2 minutes from an array of restaurants, take aways, convenience stores and gift shops. Handy to have a parking space in such a location too!
