First, I would like to express my gratitude for the level of help Mac gave to, two very old, technically challenged travelers. It was dark and rainy, and we were travel weary. Mac stayed on the phone with us until we reached his amazing Airbnb. I have been renting beach houses for 15 years and this place by far was the most impressive place yet. We had several tours planned, and we truly did not want to leave paradise to explore Tulum, but we did. The area is not only historically and culturally rich, but has everything you can expect from a tropical beach environment. Also, a big thank you to Edwin and his lovely wife who were great neighbors, we only saw them when we needed them ☺️ Jim and Dawn

This was my fourth visit to Akumal and first time staying in a Playa Caribe unit. It was also the 2nd visit via Akumal Direct. The unit was very good. Clean, comfortable. The balcony views were definitely worth climbing the many flights of stairs! Given the visit was over Christmas, the cost was much higher than my previous, non-holiday visits which is the only reason why I gave 3 stars for value. Akumal Direct is a very good management company. I will be back!

Chris reageerde altijd direct en we hebben zelfs een nacht bijgeboekt. Heerlijke sportschool en zwembaden. Ook de keuken in het appartement vonden we erg fijn. Bedankt Chris voor de goede zorg. Iedereen aan te raden.

Nous avons aimé qu'il y aille un restaurant à même le complexe. Le complexe est super! Malheureusement d'autre invité du complexe ont laissé leur chien japper toute une nuit qu'on entendant beaucoup mais le logement etait super. La cuisine est tres de base. Merci!!

Fantastic unit and Muunek is a wonderful building. We always stay in La Veleta and this was the nicest place yet. 2min walk off the main Calle 7 in the neighborhood. With a scooter it’s easy to get to and from the beach and Centro and prefer this area over the others. Common pool area was also great and shoutout to the every day staff managing the grounds and pool area- very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Alla’s place was absolutely incredible! Our family of 6 adults spent 8 days here and it exceeded all our expectations. The house was amazing in every way. Clean, spacious, and it felt so private even though it was very walkable to everything you could need. We walked to the main road / strip of Tulum a couple of times and it was cool but the area that was right around Alla’s place was even better. This really is the absolute perfect location to be in the Tulum area to have access to great food and amenities while also being off the busy street. Overall it was a perfect experience. We would definitely recommend to anyone and will return to this place specifically if we return to the main part of Tulum again. On top of it all, Alla is a gem and helped us with transportation and massages with locals who have continued to assist us through the many weeks we have been in the area, even in the other places we’ve stayed. Just book it, you won’t regret it.

Spent almost a week and it was a great stay! Photos were accurate, check in was smooth, and it was very clean. I also really appreciated Yazmin’s quick communication and referrals to rent an atv and for car service for NYE. I would definitely stay here again. The rooftop space and plunge pool were perfect when we wanted some sun time away from the hotel zone. One thing to note, apartment is on the third floor with no elevator.

Excelente opción en Tulum, en la mejor zona y con amenidades geniales, buena calidad del alojamiento y una piscina increíble. Lo recomiendo y seguro regresaría.
