My family and I had a wonderful stay at The River House. The house is beautifully architected, the property is serene, and we had fun with the games and kayaks on site. Nancy is a gracious and helpful host.

This place is literally hanging off the coast. It’s in a walkable neighborhood but completely secluded. The views are spectacular from nearly every window in the home. The shower in the master bath is big enough for six—if you’re into that kind of thing. There was a bottle of champagne in the fridge. The furniture including the beds were comfortable. In so many ways the place is just perfect. If I had to point to negatives I’d say maybe it’s a bit tired, the carpet in the lower level worn, the floors a little beat up, a cobweb here and there. So if you’re expecting something modern and polished this isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for a comfortable spot, with amazing views, in the perfect location, hosted by a very welcoming and hospitable guy, you shouldn’t hesitate. We loved our stay.

My family of 5 adults had a wonderful, peaceful stay. A few of us rarely left - it was so nice. Others enjoyed nearby hikes. We all cooked a lot so the well stocked kitchen was great. The home had every pot, pan, utensil we could possibly want, and Surf Market and Gualala Market had everything we needed (including Duck Fat!). The house was warm and cozy (great fireplace, lots of wood, excellent heat) despite all the amazing windows and skylights that looked out on the dripping redwood forest. The hot tub was used repeatedly. Furniture was comfy for readers and we all had a good time binging on favorite shows in the evening. lots of cozy blankets, towels and comfy beds/bedding. When we come again (and we will!), we might throw a few table top task lights in the car (or perhaps they are readily available had we asked) b/c we could have used brighter light for cooking in the kitchen, and activities at the dining room table. All in all, a winner for us!

I have never been in an air bnb , but this was a very great experience. I got to relax and see the sites. very nice accommodations.. thank you so much.

Great stay for a low-key gathering of friends which included a few young children. Spacious common area was great for everyone to be able to hangout together. Kitchen was well-equipped; we cooked a few meals. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Responsive and friendly host. Flexible checkout. Would stay again!

We enjoyed the quite and beautiful neighborhood. You can walk to the light house and Casper beach from the home. The home itself is clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We only used the master bedroom but can say that the bed was very comfortable. The outside areas and hot tub were a plus. Instructions and check in a breeze. We stayed here with our two border collies as it is dog friendly.

We always have a wonderful time when we stay at Heron House. The house is always very clean with great amenities. There are many walkable trails. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Lovely little place which is very unassuming on the outside (especially when you arrive in the dark) but is lovely inside, with great amenities including the very cute sauna/bath combo, terrace space and garden. We only stayed one night but would definite have liked to stay longer. Marina was a thoughtful and friendly host. Thank you!

Deborah’s place is so cozy! She is also so friendly and accommodating. This is the second time I’ve stayed and will be back again. The unit is so cozy and quiet. Bed is super comfy!

A few blocks to downtown and directly across from the Arts Center. Very good selection of restaurants, and for us as vegans, lots of offerings. One highlight was dinner at Stanford Inn. Completely vegan restaurant, although anyone would have found it delicious and surprisingly affordable. Another highlight was walking along the headlands trail and seeing dramatic ocean waves crash along the cliffs. Other beaches were amazing too and the redwoods, bridges, and springtime green everywhere were all gorgeous. Two full days was plenty to take it all in. And Carolina’s place was comfortable and artfully designed. Five plus stars.

Great spot right on the lake! The place is incredibly spacious and well-equipped. Not walkable to much other than the lake, but very convenient to get places by car. The lake view from the deck was lovely. Honestly was a perfect studio that could be a great for a long term stay too.

A really nice stay in Cloverdale! It's located on the corner of the main road, but the traffic noise was barely noticeable. Great communication all throughout the stay. Since it's a newer AirBnB, I gave a couple of suggestions to help make it even better for next time... and I would definitely stay here again!

I was so comfortable at Linda’s Rosebud Farm! She went way above and beyond, to make sure I had everything I needed. The place has lots of special touches, was cozy and lovely. I was grateful for her place to come home to during a recent move. It felt like a peaceful sanctuary. I enjoyed the view from the deck. I could look out on her cows, her horse and lots of turkeys. Linda herself is a wonderful host and I enjoyed getting to know her!

All I can say is wow, what a perfect stay we had at The Guest Nest! Kerry's place is beautiful, inside and out - spotlessly clean, well thought out, cozy and spacious. Lots of light during the day, and the fireplace kept us warm at night. The views from the windows, porches & garden are amazing, from the garden, to the grounds with the deer grazing, to the ocean. Absolutely fantastic neighborhood as well...Caspar Headlands and Caspar Beach are an easy walk, and they're both gorgeous. Last but certainly not least, Kerry was an amazing host - extremely helpful, kind and communicative. If I ever find myself in the Mendocino area again (which I hope to!), I would absolutely love to stay in The Guest Nest again, just an amazing place/host!
