Great stay at Hunter's cottage for myself, husband & our dog. Five pit trail right on our doorstep, so lots of walking & accessible right from the back gate. We ventured out to Hardwick Hall which had lovely views & tried the local chippy - be warned that when they say large portion of chips they mean large! We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay & the hot tub was lovely! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or revisit ourselves.

What can I say about this place.. 100 things 100 times over!! I did not want to leave! On top of the amazing customer service despite it being a self check in, I felt super welcome immediately and made to sure his property which was absolutely to die for stunning; And looks far better than the photos lead on to believe, was kept squeaky clean and decluttered, exactly how it was when we arrived! Was meant to be only a simple stay for us as we intended on doing hikes in the local area but it ended up being the total highlight of our trip! Being able to allow our four dogs off leash from the front door of the property with no worries was absolutely amazing and they all extremely enjoyable the independence and joy of well kept, Clean grass, and the completely enclosed area surrounding ten Entire property, part of it with the main castle and part of it completely private with the hot tub and sauna to the rear. Never have I ever felt so secure in a property than this home. Highly recommend!!

Great communication very clear instructions and easy to access property. Accommodation was very well presented and well located to explore the surrounding areas - just a shame we couldn't stay longer on this occasion!

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, including a delicious home-baked cake that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage itself is stunning, blending cozy charm with lovely decor and thoughtful touches throughout. The views are absolutely breathtaking—perfect for unwinding and taking in the scenery. The hot tub was an added luxury, allowing us to relax under the stars. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a personal touch.

We loved our relaxing two night stay at Oslow Cottage! It’s well equipped, cosy and Natalie was a great host, always so friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. We’d love to come back!

We just had an incredible two-night stay here, and we can't say enough good things! Nathan was always nearby and amazingly helpful, making our experience feel just like home. The place is a hidden gem—so peaceful and a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city! With Katie and Nathan living just a stone's throw away, we felt completely private and safe. The highlight of our mornings? A refreshing stroll around the farm, something we had missed for far too long! This place has absolutely stolen our hearts. It’s truly worth every moment, and we will definitely recommend it highly to all our friends and family!

Beautiful barn conversion in a lovely location. Excellent amenities for families with children. The kitchen was fantastic and well equipped. Paul was responsive to all messages and was on hand if needed for any queries. The hot tub was fantastic. Restaurants within walking distance. Half an hour drive away from some fantastic hikes & waterfalls. We booked relatively last minute for a joint birthday of my partner and our best friend and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! We will definitely be back. We had a great time in Lynsey’s ‘Little Barn’. It was both quirky and cosy and our kids were really excited about the mezzanine bedrooms and the table football. The barn’s in a stunning location and it was very quiet and peaceful. Lynsey was a responsive host but also respected our privacy. We would highly recommend it!

Terri was at the property when we arrived and keen to show us around. This was a weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. There was 7 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. The cottage met our needs in every way and Terri was a wonderful host. We used the old hall inn twice and also the green lane social across the road from the cottage, both were brilliant. Nothing negative to post at all. Thanks 😃

We loved our stay there, so calm and beautiful. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, left us a pitcher of milk in the fridge for teas and lovely Nespresso coffee pods - highly recommend the stay there. The cottage was so charming and sweet, with a gorgeous little kitchen. Our dog made a mess, but the hosts just took it in their stride…

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

wow, I was amazed with the views, the size of kithen and dinning area, rooms, numbers of toilets! it was all what we were looking for. The energy of house itself was very positive! thank you for a lovely stay!

Maeve was there to welcome us when we checked in and was very helpful with making sure we had everything and gave us some really good recommendations! The air b&b was lovely, clean and in such a good location to walk to castleton and hope. Also close by to a lot of great places to visit! Having the view of mam tor from the back garden was just amazing! We didn’t want for anything while we were there and we can’t wait to come back :)

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Superb lovely 2 night stay. Would highly recommend, I think the place is bigger than the pictures show. Very cosy, everything we needed and beautiful surroundings. Walk to the Roaches not far at all. Just what we needed and will come again. Jane was superb from the off, very helpful, friendly and responsive.

Great stay as a family of 5 with two children and 1 infant. The stay was pleasant and a great location. We visited alton towers as well as Thorpe and Ashbourne. Great communication. Great recommendations. Very nice cottage and had everything you need to cook, relax, etc. Rooms were good, we didn't love the bed but it's personal choice. A bit noisy having our baby in the travel cot but we slept okay. We didn't get to explore any walks but seems to be in such a fab location to do some.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

My friends and I had an amazing weekend here. We were celebrating our friends birthday and they kindly put up a banner and there was a cake as well which was such a kind gesture and really appreciated! The location is beautiful and if you get the chance the spa on site is well priced and very good!
