Great place to stay! Highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough about Joy and Ray’s guest house . As a fellow owner of one in Bisbee, Joy didn’t miss a thing . The cabin is comfortable, artistic , cozy, and the views spectacular. Chirichuas are worthy of exploration and the 2 hour drive through the mountains to the National Monument frosting on the cake, especially if you love dirt roads. It was an exquisite place to spend a milestone birthday and we hope to return .

Property matches the photos, quiet, and peaceful. It did get fairly cool at night but plenty of extra blankets and heaters if needed. Beautiful property stunning night sky and amazing sunsets.

The goal was to unplug from our busy lives for the weekend, and John & Cathy’s place was absolutely perfect to do just that! We felt right at home, the place was just so cozy. They provided an incredibly detailed “instruction manual”, which covered topics ranging from how to use the AC and the ROKU remote to where to get groceries and possible daytrips. This location is very remote, so that came in handy - and so did the full kitchen! No need to leave the place if you don’t feel like it. The highlight, of course, was when John hosted a starparty for us in one of his 3 observatories right in the backyard. Even though the moon was a little bright, he showed us so many amazing things, all with a detailed explanation of what we were looking at. Next time we’ll make sure to visit during a new moon, so we can see even more - because we definitely plan on coming back!

We had a great stay! The house has a great layout and lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The private fenced yard was great for my pup. Martin was so awesome he showed me around upon check in and my friend had some car issues which he helped us figure out the problem and was accommodating when her friend was fixing the car. Great place, great people! Also close to 2 restaurants

Stunning location, birds were plentiful and cool, and cabin was comfy. Cabin was a duplex with shared wall with neighbors which I did not expect. I did hear the neighbors through the wall but it wasn’t a big deal. Just be aware the cowboy cabin is not a stand alone listing.

I have stayed at Kellye's place multiple times and everytime is wonderful! It is a comfortable and beautiful spot . It is marvelous that you are willing to share your historically significant property with others!

I wish they were higher rating than five for Joan and Steve's Airbnb! The unit was immaculate and very well appointed. It was conviently located to hiking trails and the Cave Creek Ranch where for 5 dollars we saw a ton of birds and interesting wildlife. Although truly my husband and I could have spent an entire day hiking around La Queeenciaan and watching the birds from our backyard patio. We also enjoyed talking to both Joan and Steve. They are very interesting and gracious people ❤️

A wonderful house in a stargazers paradise. Spotlessly clean with a view of Cave Creek Canyon from every room. I loved the SW art work especially the pottery which added a classy touch. Morning coffee and warm sun on the deck. Evening sunset on the deck on the other side of the house facing Cave Creek. This is a special home that displays love and care. Portal is a few miles drive and Cave Creek Canyon a few miles further. After a day of exploring I couldn’t wait to come back and relax in comfort. Ive stayed at many rentals and this place stands out as one of the best. I’ll return and tell others.
