We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

Amazing view from the house. Rooms were spacious, especially kitchen area. Great location for families 5 or more people. Quick drive to the A30 (if you can fit through the bridge). Hot tub, with scones and Prosecco was an added bonus! Had a few minor issues, which Jeremy helped to rectify where he could. Definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a bit of a risk to book this sort of accommodation in late Feb/ early March due to the outside temperature but we were pleasantly surprised but they stocked up well on logs for the fire and hot tub as well as the much needed electric blankets on the beds. I would recommend bringing layers though and slippers as the floor is cold and it takes a little time in the morning for the logs to heat the accommodation again.

We absolutely loved our time at Sara and Rob’s place. An idyllic location with great facilities at the barn. Sara and Rob were welcoming, kind, and patient. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful place to stay! Hut was very clean and warm! Hot tub was lovely however took about 5 bags to heat per night so recommend heating up with at least 4 hours! Duloe local town was lovely with a little community shop!

We had such a lovely stay at Sheila’s place. From the moment we booked Sheila was very communicative and helpful. Upon arrival everything was exactly as stated and there were even some welcome goodies for us! Sheila was super friendly and came to greet us shortly after our arrival, she recommended some great places to visit. Our dog had the best time on the local beaches and walking paths, there was plenty to do straight from the apartment and a short drive away. There were also a lot of restaurants to try. Sheila’s place is the perfect mixture of serenity, fantastic views and lots to do without venturing too far… we got so comfortable with the apartment and the view we even stayed ‘home’ quite a lot because we liked it so much! Would highly recommended a visit.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

Great place to stay . See and hear the waves from the building. All clean and tidy the bed was soft and snug. The mussel and odd wheel pubs serve great food nearby. The hot tub had a fab sea view . The hosts were great and there if needed, Would defo go there again for sure.

Ali was helpful and accommodating. The house was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable with lovely, really soft bedding. The kitchen was stocked with all you could need and everything was of good quality. We had a 5 month old baby with us and Ali provided a baby bath, changing mat and travel cot. We could not have asked for more, and I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

A wonderful base to explore North Cornwall, the cottage is well equipped and very comfortable and in a very quiet location. Erik was very helpful and responded to any queries I had very promptly.

Lovely little bolt hole next to Seaton beach..my kids who stayed in the air b&b rated it top notch. Thanks Frances x

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Lovely little place in a great area. Very peaceful and beautiful. The house has everything you could possibly need for a long stay and we very much enjoyed it. Peter was very helpful and responded to our questions straight away. Would definitely recommend it 👌

An amazing place to stay. Highly recommended! Spotlessly clean and loads of space. The welcome package was very much appreciated 🥂Loved the sun room to read a book and watch the sun set, whatever the weather. The local beach was peaceful and had a great bar overlooking it. Perfect beach for my children to have a surfing lesson too. Makes me want to live in Cornwall!

Really enjoyed our stay at Penn Barn. Cosy hideaway with beautiful river views. Tucked ourselves away for a weekend of peace and quiet and it was perfect. Local pub was close by, great food and service and there are lovely scenic walks along the river which we really enjoyed. Kate is great host, we would definitely recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Julie und die Kommunikation mit ihr liefen einwandfrei! Die Unterkunft war wie auf den Fotos und im Inserat beschrieben und hatte eine tolle Lage mit großem Garten, schönen Aufenthaltsbereichen draußen mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und einem Pool! Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!

Matt and Chloe were really great hosts. Really warm welcome, there was a hamper waiting for us with some essentials and treats, after a long drive that was very appreciated. Communication was great, always quick to respond. Had some minor issues, as all trips do, but Matt was on hand to try and resolve them right away. Just a note for people booking that the washer/dryer are communal and outside the cottage. Great location to travel around Cornwall

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Great communication with hosts after Air B&B posted wrong postcode on site. I know hosts will have corrected this now. Cottage was super clean, and very quiet, with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen for home cooking,and beautiful rural views to the rear. Pool, gym, and hot tub a lovely bonus!! Easy links for Plymouth, Devon or Cornwall. Enjoyed our stay! Thank you Frances, for working hard to make a beautiful home stay at Ash!

The views are spectacular on three sides. We really liked it, spotlessly clean, well equipped and great value.

Great place to stay. Stayed in Culver. Really nice cottage. Clean and tidy and had all we needed. Awesome pool and jacuzzi which was always clean and tidy. Worked very well with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Lovely dog field and gardens very well looked after. Quite a long country road to the location but that’s to be expected. Well recommended. Would stay again.

Great stay! We had an amazing time and the the views were stunning. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed! Communication with Jonathan was good and he was quick in getting back to us! Hot tub & swimming pool made the stay so relaxing and we will be back. Thank you
