We had a great stay at Barb’s house! She was a lovely host and so welcoming. The suite was clean and peaceful. Loved the historic details and beautiful grounds. Will book again!

Kim was WONDERFUL! She was responsive to all my whims and was so kind (thank you for the crabs!). After spending months in a very noisy, messy living situation, this was the perfect place to reset and have solitude and peace.

Jamie was friendly, responsive, and helpful before and during our stay. The space is comfortable, very clean, and tastefully decorated - and the proximity to the university is ideal!

Carol's place was everything we needed and more for our weekend getaway with friends to see a show in the city of Baltimore. Carol was very welcoming and accommodating to anything we might of needed. We would have loved a chance to use the kayaks but given weather this time a year that was not going to happen 🥶 We probably could have had used the fire pit but opted to stay in for the evening and play some of the many games on hand 😁 All in all Carol's place was a great place to stay she truly has everything covered and will definitely consider staying with her again In the future.

Scenic and peaceful getaway! What a gem it is to a have found. My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend for his birthday! The backyard is like a retreat with the firepit and hot tub and the scenic views. Very spacious and cozy! Super accommodating. The bed was comfortable, The living room and fireplace are added bonuses. There is also everything you could need all there, even an iron and ironing board. We definitely are interested in going back again! 25-30 minute drive to the city and most other local attractions.

Wonderful place right outside Kennett Square. Great for a nice winter getaway. Loved the hot tub and wood stove!

My family and I love HdG, having come for the past four years for weekend vacations. We found this listing when looking for a pet-friendly place to stay over Indigenous Peoples Day weekend 2024, as well as my birthday. The listing is very accurate, and the space is perfect for a stay in HdG. It’s close to everything you could need. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, having supplied the space with TONS of snacks, coffee, tea, sparkling water, and a Brita pitcher. They were so sweet to also welcome us with a bottle of sparkling wine and balloons! We would happily stay here again. The hosts are hospitable, communicative, and friendly. The space itself is comfortable, quiet, and cozy.

My stay was wonderful only problem i had was the sheets had little crumbs, but once i messaged Clifton about it, he brought new sheets very quickly. Also had to rinse out the tub from little dirt. Overall the stay was great, Clifton was an awesome host and i will definitely book again!! Thanks for your hospitality Clifton!

Absolutely wonderful! Private, VERY quiet yet only 20-30 minutes from lots of things to do. The best of both worlds. Beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the adjustable thermostat. Gini also made sure the bird feeders were full so our cat could enjoy some "Kitty TV" during the day. We will certainly plan to stay again!

Beautiful place to stay! Very comfortable bedrooms. Paola was very responsive and every thing we needed was there. Highly recommend this place parents visiting their adult children at BayHealth or the Air Force base.

This place was even more beautiful in person than in the photos!!! Everything was super clean and luxurious. Absolutely beautiful, perfect setting on the water. We had a great stay at Becky and Dave's place! The location is great - nice balance of convenience (near to town) with being in the country with a nice walking trail nearby. The space is very comfortable, with all the amenities one might need. It was also refreshing and appreciated to not have big instruction / to-do list! We appreciated the thoughtful touches such as keyless entry (no need to keep track of keys) and having a readily available HDMI hookup for connecting your favorite streaming device. Parking and check-in instructions very clear and convenient. Recommended!

Pauline is always an excellent host. I’ve been there a few different times and she is always responsive, friendly, and proactive. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas this time. It’s alway super clean and stocked well.

This property is located in an amazing neighborhood. Beautiful tree lined streets with amazing homes make for a quiet and peaceful morning stroll. Within walking distance are a number of excellent restaurants, parks and museums. The rental unit is cozy and secluded with all the things needed for an enjoyable short or extended stay. The hosts, Ed and Tracey, are awesome and always available for a quick question or recommendation to a local restaurant or places to visit. Would not hesitate to stay there again and plan to this coming April.

We loved our stay!!! It was such a beautiful and peaceful location. The house was beautifully decorated as well. You felt right at home. Our daughter loved the playroom. 10/10 would recommend. We hope to be back!

I stayed here for a month during work trip and could not have been happier with the place. Kurt is a fantastic host who went above and beyond to accommodate me. The apartment is spacious and had everything I needed, and the washer and dryer in the garage were a lifesaver. I made use of the quiet neighborhood for jogging, and it’s very near a Target, ACME and several restaurants. If I come back to the area I will definitely be hoping Kurt’s place is available!

Travis was super responsive and replied within a very short timeframe. Wi-Fi was fast which was great since I was working. You could walk in the neighborhood which we did a few times. Grocery store and some restaurants are a few miles away. Easy to get to. Nice mall, Target, outlets, restaurants and Costco all within about 15 min drive. Everything is easily accessible. Highway access close. Also about 10 mins to the historical part of downtown and the river boardwalk. Unit was plenty spacious for a 1-bedroom. Comfortable. Full kitchen and laundry was great. Off street parking was a plus! No complaints at all. Would definitely stay again! Thanks so much Travis & Gabrielle!
